We've been so busy here, I haven't been online for over two weeks and it's been even longer since I've been to BellyBelly!
It's amazing to 'feel' the change in here from when I was last here. You all seem to be much happier - maybe it's because we're all feeling more confident as mum's now.
Melissa, we have a Ben-led routine here too. Just the past few nights he's started to manage two long sleeps at night with a feed around 1-3am which is brilliant. It makes for a much happier mummy, even if it does mean a wide-awake Ben for most of the day.
Kristie, I can't believe your mum doesn't even play with the boys when she's over! My mum can't get enough of Ben and hardly puts him down, but if she does, she does the washing up or ironing or something. I still think you are super-mum for doing all that you do with your two little boys to take care of!
Kel, I can kinda relate to you missing, but not missing work. I've already had three of my colleagues quit since I left, and I'm missing the social aspect. Totally NOT missing the travelling of 3+ hours a day!
Danni, WOW on Mason's long sleeps! That's fantastic. You must feel like a new woman with all that wonderful sleep. I vaguely remember what it was like to get more than six hours sleep a night!
Jen, that's great that Beau is getting the hang of bfing. I'm not up to date on the problems you have had, but I remember you were having some trouble at the very beginning. I love bfing and am so glad that Ben likes it too. He's just recently made it difficult though - he detaches and decides to have a chat whenever I make eye contact with him! Cheeky boy!
Ben is doing great. He's put on over 2.5kgs since birth and tonight he rolled from his tummy to his back for the first time We had an occupational therapist visit our mothers' group today and when she saw him on his tummy she said he'd be rolling over really soon, but I'm guessing she didn't think it would be as soon as it was! LOL
I'll try to get in here more frequently, I miss it here!
