Sharon I'm so glad that worked! I hate the way BJ reacts to the Zantac but it works, and if it makes him feel better then thats all that counts!
Poor Bj has been mucked up a little the past 24 hours because I had broccoli on friday night...it was a stupid test because he was doing so well with everything, we wondered if the reflux was causing his colic (because he was crying and gulping so much when it was playing up), turns out that no, it was the broccoli (I eat alot of vegies because I don't like meat too much, so I eat STACKS of vegies, and one of my favs is broccoli).
Oh well, we know now, back to zucchini, beans, corn, carrot, potato and pumpkin!

    Afternoon everyone

Sharon just wanted to say the pics of Oliver are gorgeous I really love the one where he is pulling the face!!!!

Shelley bugger about the broccoli, like you i love my vegies, give me a plate of veg over meat any day! The things we are willing to go without for our babes......

Netti i love your real name..... our eldest DD name is Toni.

Fire that is massive to have to cut out all dairy! As for the icecream that would be the hardest for me! That and custard cause i am a sucker for a bowl of icecream n custard....

Well Molly had a good night last night, fed at 9pm in bed before 11pm which is the time i went to bed. Then up just after 4am and then coslept with me till 8am. So praying for two in a row now. She has a CHN appoint on wed so cant wait to see what she weighs.

Aah Kat tell me about it!!
Still, if I kept eating it, we'd all go insane...BJ has been at the point tonight (twice) where he's cried til he wasn't making any noise, or breathing in, had to blow in his face to make him breathe...poor little man..
I've made the executive decision that I'm sleeping in the spare room tonight, DH has to work tomorrow and its not fair that he be up all night with BJ too...clearly I'm going to be!

Hows little Miss Molly going Kat? I hope she's being an angel for you...Bj had been, til I upset the apple cart!
Anyone know how long things stay in your breast milk? (eg, I had the broccoli on Friday...will my milk be ok for him now and its just a case of waiting for it to get out of HIS system, or is it still in my milk too)
Also, started drinking aktavite yesterday, then it clicked that its chocolate flavoured and therefore could also be contributing...anyone else had issues?
Milo has been fine for us....

Sharon excuse my technological ineptitude, but how do i view your album? i looked at y our profile but couldn't see anything there.

fire that link sounds interesting but it doesn't seem to work for me.

dd had tiny bit of blood (light red) in nappy tonight, has anyone else had this? it happened once before and i had lengthy conversations with mch hotline and a gp relative - conclusion was that it wasn't anything to worry about. still, i'm not too happy to see it again... she seems perfectly happy and healthy otherwise.

Isabell has been a total angel for me today!! Perfectly spaced feeding, perfect amount of sleep, and was such a happy baby when she was awake!! And, she is now asleep, way before her bedtime!! IM hoping this doesnt mean she will be up wide awake in the early hours though, but if it does then so be it lol. She slept from about 9:30pm last night til 4:30am this morning, was awesome!!

BW broccoli is one of my fave vegies too, although my all time fave has to be cauliflower. I'm not much of a 'red' meat eater, but do enjoy chicken. Can't help you on the breast milk problem, but I thought I heard/read somewhere that it was generally for 1 feed only, don't hold me to it though as i'm no expert, since I have never successfully BF any of my boys LOL
Kat thanks re the photo's my friend and I where almost wetting ourselves when we saw that one. Good luck with the CHN on Wednesday.
Taurusa I have to let you know that yes sleep will return to you one day, but then during the toddler years it may be taken from you yet again, especially when they transfer to a 'big bed' and discover they can get out and wander around LOL
mgm can't help you with your DD problem of blood in her nappy, but hope you get answers soon, I know they say that a baby girl can bleed from her vagina shortly after birth because of mummies hormones (or something like that) but didn't think that would happen this far after birth.
Meg glad to hear that Isabelle was an angel for you today, Oliver didn't sleep as much as he usually does today as we where out for a fair bit, but he was generally a happy chappy.

Have my 6 week check up tomorrow, and my Dr is also going to see if she can get my Paediatrician to see Oliver tomorrow too, just to get his reflux checked. Better go, time for Oliver's sneaky feed.

I've been MIA for a couple of days and a new thread starts so I'm not going to try to respond to all those posts that have passed.

Sarah, Danielle, Beatrix, Kat and all those other mums that have more than one little one under 4 to deal with - I take my hat off to all of you. I am ready to pack my bags and leave the kids behind with DH. I don't know how you all do it being a fulltime mum with toddlers and a baby - I want to kill DS more times than not. I'm struggling with keeping my sanity with the sleep deprivation and the crying etc.

Danielle I especially think that you are doing an amazing job with a c-section and still doing all hte housework - I've only just started mopping, dishes and washing last week and the pain is coming back.

Had BILs 40th last night and picked up DS because he was running around the restaurant and needed to calm him down - well am I paying for it today.

I've had a yellowish discharge for the past two days and do not know if I should start to worry yet. Have my check up on Thursday - so thinking I 'll just wait until then, unless I notice anything more with it.

Went to naturopath last week and she told me to cut out dairy - for own health not the babies. My lymohatics are conjested, but I am living on iced coffee and Affogato and chocolate - so it is going to be hard.

Greer is doing really well, getting bigger, more alert time. Really need to develop some better settling techniques though or I'll have her permanently attached to the boob I think.

Fire - still not doing too well at the Aware Parenting . really must spend that money and buy those books, been too busy listing on ebay to buy much. Not that I've made any money from it, but the clutter is going.

Baby Wrangler - since they suggest you have wine straight after a feed I would think things only stay in your milk for a few hours.

Time to get everyone to sleep, Greer is figgiting so that's it from me tonight
