He has really strong legs and is always trying to stand on my lap. He cracks it hard lying down now - I think he likes to see whats going on around him!
MM - Ditto, Kye is the same

He has been cranky this afternoon/tonight. Have just fed him and had a major battle to try and get him to settle.

He is so tired it aint funny. My arm is aching from carrying him around trying to comfort him, and yep I'm tired too!

Anyways hopefully he is 'out for the count' and wont wake up now till midnight at least

In saying that, I am gonna hit bed just in case tonight is not such a good night

Jett is also really strong. Loves standing for ages, hates being carried like a baby - just wants to sit up and be upright all the time. He's also started to lift his head and shoulders off the ground when he is lying down or flat in the pram. *sigh* looks like I will have to raise the back of the pram up now - where has my baby boy gone?

Ok, enough of my rambling. I don't even know why I am awake right now..... Jett's in bed asleep!

Wishing everyone a good long pleasant night tonight!

Hehehe Mel, I noticed that blue writing too!!! And like Leash, I'm jealous!! DP saw my facebook status yesterday (why stop at four?) and said I had a short memory .... yes pregnancy is demanding on my body and I get really uncomfortable (and sick) but doesn't stop me from wanting more kids!

MT - Veygas tries to lift himself up too ... mind you, DS1 was sitting all by himself at 3 months old, walking by 11 months (I think he hit his peak early!! )

Veygas went to bed at 4.30-5pm yesterday (he was tired) and slept through til 2.30am! Mind you, I had crashed at around 8.30pm, so I had trouble getting back to sleep after that feed, but did get to watch some Law & Order eps I hadn't seen before!! hehehe

Leasha - bummer about AF We have 3 years between #1 and #2, then 2 years between #2 and #3, then just under 2.5 years between #3 and #4.

Am I just stupid or what, I really want to have another one, maybe two more kids (I know Veygas is only 2 months old!!) but I'm 35 in a couple of months, so I don't really want to leave it too much longer ....

Speaking of Facebook, I uploaded some photos here that I'm too lazy to upload again!

Hi to EVERYONE!! Gonna have my cuppa before it goes cold!

Just a quick one to say that yesterday Jazz learnt how to hit toys with her hands! lol, she's been kicking at things for a while but she has finally coordinated her arms enough to hit hanging toys! YAY! Next stop, reaching and rolling. She can hold her head up for a little bit when shes on her tummy, not really pushing herself up very far on her arms but we'll get there! I'm just stoked at the hitting of toys... its so exciting to see her noticing things.

On a side note... does anyone elses bub LOVE watching TV? I was flicking through channels and came across the Playhouse Disney channel so I left it on there and SHE LOVED IT! I even got to have a coffee AND put clothes on the line while she watched TV. Though I do feel a bit slack, I mean, she's two months tomorrow and already I'm plonking her in front of the TV. She was on her playmat hitting her toys so that makes me feel a little better LOL! We watched Bear in the Big Blue House this morning, very exciting PMSL!

Hmmm.. seems I can't get away with nobody noticing... hehe.. just kidding..

MM - I think you need another two.. yes... two... LOL.. I'd like twins next time.. LOL

Well Miss M had her needles today - she is sleeping at the moment so i don't think they did her too much harm!!! Screamed a bit though. Went to the chemist and got some gaviscon for her reflux - doc said to try that, see if it helps at all...

She screamed so much last night - for about an hour - terrible screaming - and then slept from 7.30 through to 5.30 this morning!!!!!! Our first sleep through!!!! DS was only up a few times too - but I don't remember so basically I slept through too.. woohoo!!! Gotta be a first for everything..

Leasha - thats GREAT!!! She is going so well!!!! I don't know if watching tv is that bad - I do it all the time with DS.. lol.. and we had "Cars" on last night for him and she shut up for a few minutes watching it.. LOL

Got the IL's coming over today - yay

Leasha - Kye is doing the same too with his toys that hang from his playmat. I've got the Lamaze playmat and the octopus toy in the middle has a mirror on it. He stares at it hard out and laughs, so funny!

He is also spending alot more time on his tummy without getting cranky which I am happy about. He is starting to push up using his arms too :dance

Leash - YAY for Jazz hitting her toys! Beth LOOOOOVES TV! She watches the food channel all the time. And Mel she was watching Cars with me when it was on a few weeks ago and was fascinated by it. I realised we still had it on tape so I put it on and she is happily watching it now LOL.
Mel - YAY for the sleep-through I know you really needed it!
sash - I want to get that playmat for Beth, she hates tummy time atm but I think she would like it better if there was something down there to look at. She was having a good time with the hanging toys at mother's group yesterday, but for some reason the ones which came with her rocker seem to scare her - she doesn't like them anyway, anytime I put them on she cries! Maybe they're just blocking her view of the TV!
Jeez, you guys are all pretty keen thinking about when you want to have another baby! I'm just trying to enjoy this one! Although I think the Bear is already thinking about more. Easy for him LOL
MT Beth always tries to stand up - we play a game of 'baby goes up - baby goes down' = I hold her by the hands and she stands up and then sits down.
We posted some new photos of Beth here and some new photos from around our place here
Anyway, someone's grizzling so better go - have a great Saturday!

Pixie - with all that delectable food Bear prepares, it's no wonder Beth loves the Food channel!!

Squidipa - hope joshie's temp goes down for you hun

I lost the toys that go on the hangy thing for the rocker ... actually, I think the kids broke the hangy thing anyway (yeah, it happens when things keep getting handed down!!)

ETA: Pixie - love the photo of Beth where she is kinda looking over her shoulder at the camera - gorgeous!

Here's a pic of my little munchkin - not screaming for once

    https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...7&ppuser=12244

Pixie - we knew we wanted three kids pretty close together before we even had the first one - so thats why we have a time set (although DH is yet to see my little blue writing!!)

Squidipa - how is his temp now? Miss M got a temp when she was about three weeks old and I just gave her a bath in tepid water and left her in coolish clothes and it went down - which was good cos she was too young for panadol...

Well hopefully she is down for the night. We gave her a dose of panadol cos she was screaming anytime one of us accidentally touched her legs - poor little thing... so gave her a dose, hopefully she won't wake up from leg pain as well as tummy pain!!!!

DH is cooking dinner tonight (yay!) nothing too exciting - just chicko rolls...

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!

    Hi!!

    I just realised I haven't posted for a while...

I weighed Nakita on Friday and we almost hit 4000grams, 3950grams to be exact Her gains are now around 30grams a day, so pretty good, and I am very happy with that. 9 days until my appointment with the GP speciaising in Motilium, I am really hopig that we get the go ahead to boost it, and get another script for it.

Pixie, what beautiful piccies of Beth I have some dresses for Nakita but size 000 so looking forward to her getting big enough to fit them! I have a feeling she won't be in 0000 for a long time

Mel, Miss M looks so peaceful, I hope her shot spots feel better today, yay for the sleep throughs, we aren't going to be there for a while yet... *SIGH*

I think the food channel and cars sound like great shows to be interested. Nakita her a screaming fit for a wile yesterday and unfortunatly it was Power Rangers which calmed her down

She also adores the Sony Bravia balls screen saver on my laptop, a white screen with coLourful balls bouncing across it!

Hopefully Johiah's temp goes down Squidipa, at least he is rested.

Nakita started hitting toys this week too, she was smiling at one in particular at the office, so we moved it down to a lower point and she kept hitting it and smiling!! Yesterday we got a giggle, had put her down to sleep, lasted for five minutes we went in and she was smiling and started giggling at us - OMG sop cute - I want more!! She has also discovered raspberries, not full blown one's yes but don't think they are far off. She also makes lots of other noises with her mouth.

    for AF Leasha!!! That sucks!!

Love your photos MM, hehe, the comments are cute too!!

MT that is great that Jett is getting so strong!! Nakita loves to see what is happening I prop her up on the couch and she can see us walking around the house and loves it!

Had a random express of 100ml on Friday night, but down to 60ml last night, oh well, at least I didn't get too excited about it hehe.

Did you get a good sleep Sasha?

Oh must run, gotta go to the markets, daylight saving has started so getting there at 10 instead of 9, should be ok though!

They forecast showers today but clear blue skies - yay as I have a few loads of washing to put on the line!

    Ciao

    What a day yesterday !!

Sorry no personals again but just one vic thats great 30 grams a day well done

Yesterday first feed of the day josh has temp i figure hrmm maybe he had one blanket on to many but even after taking blanket off him and he was just in a cotton bond suit he still had temp 30 mins after. This slight temp stuck round all day and we had had him in his Nappie and wet flannel all day no clothes. At 9.40 we changed his bom and the nappie was not even half soiled from a full 12 hours as it wasnt even wet early in morning left him in it. so after a change at 9.40am and him still in that nappy at 5.30 and its not even wee'ed in i called 13 health. They told me to take him to hospital as he was more tiered than normal and no wet nappies and consitaint temp. his temp was only slight under arm i was always told was .5 degree lower than the real temp. His under arm temp was 37.6 so making him 38.1 all day. I didn't give him panadol. nappy was dry till almost 10pm that night in hospital when he pooed and wee'ed.

Arrived at hospital at 6pm after waiting for EX husband to collect the three kids. We went to emergency to be told he looks fine. I agreed but she didn't even check him then i complained and she took a temp NOT even taken properly so i said you didn't even have it in his ear. She re took it and said he is fine. yeah the temp was coming down FINALLY. But what caused it was my question. She told us its a 4 hour wait g to the after hours dr next door. We went there and waited again. Luckily i brought breakfast yes breakfast i hadnt eaten all day!

The dr on duty there said yes he is unwell and dehydrated obviously and referred me back to emergency. I waited at emergency for till 12am then was taken off and put to wait on a bed for ever it felt. In end dr said not much at all but they got a preradiation to look at him at about 2am. She said he has a viral thing thats why he is coughing and possibly why the temp. She said his weight gain is off concern but we will see how it goes after 1 full week of your new technique breast feeding. She also said on Thursday/Friday Get him rechecked by dr and imunised and weight checked on Wednesday by MW and by dr at end of week. What she did find that we wernt aware of was more wow than the whole reason why we went. He has a slight heart murmur.
This has totally rattled hubbie he is not impressed to say the least. This also needs checking on Friday. his urine was fine when tested at hospital. And when i showed them my log of feeds they said he should have been going toilet more as you obviously have been feeding him. We got home round 3ish after collecting kids and re putting them to bed then hubbie was up early with 3 year old and i slept with josh till about almost 1 i believe now hubbies in bed with josh sleeping.

On a slight up side we weighed 4400 grams that 90 grams up on Wednesday YAY thats betetr than last week

Also yesterday hubbie was told his causal position is no longer required as they have a permant staff member returning wasnt even given the 1 hour notice he deserved!. So we on hunt again for something.

    Oh big Squidipa!!!

DH was born with a heart murmur, apparently about 50% of babies show up with them, and in most most cases it is relatively innocent, I hope that on Friday everything comes up okay for Josh, and I hope hubbie feels some comfort form this.

Great weight gain too, sounds like some of your changes are helping

I have updated our blog today, click The Mastermans, with a heap of new photos, I just have to update the top post to the dates where all the changes have been made!

Soo happy that we have a public holiday tomorrow, not sure what it is for, but yay for the day off with hubby and Nakita!!

OMG Squidipa your poor DH I can't believe they did that to you guys!!!!! poor Josiah I hope things go well for him the hospitals can be hopeless. Big YAY for his weight gain well done

Vic- Nakita is doing so well with her weight gain. Babies become sooo much more fun when they interact with you we're still waiting for allegra to start reaching for things but we do get some smiles every now and then but mostly frowns

Sorry for the lack of personals I have a splitting head ache we went to the RAAF air show today and I got severely sun burnt (hardly any shade available) and I'm very dehydrated. Apart from that it was fantastic, Cadence pood herself when the F what ever jet took off and flew over but Allegra jumped and stayed asleep it was very very loud

Take care ladies better re hydrate

Are you talking about the F16 kel??? hehe I hope you were able to rest well with all that sunburn and have been able to hydrate ya self. Did hubbie enjoy the show too? Hope your headache went quickly i have had a head ache pretty much everyday since joshie was born.

My daughter was born with a heart murmur but went after 2 weeks and re testing and she has no issues with sports or anything these days but it was all a bit much with the job thing and the hearing thing and the crooked winkie lack of weight gain thing i think he just thought what next LORD!

Off to Centerlink to sort some stuff out today.

I have been a bit run down i slept 10 hours after coming back from hospital waking only to feed josh the rare times he want it. Then 14 hours from 3.30pm yesterday all through the night once again only waking t feed josh witch was1 or 2 feeds. I was only out of bed when hubbie was in it tag team swap. I so could have slept for another day or two i feel o.k maybe exaggeration but i know at least 5 more hours. This new style of breast feeding is taking every little bit out of my and the head aches im getting every day since josh was born anyone else got this and i wake with an aching back and my ankle ache too.

Squidipa - it can be frustrating dealing with them. Luckily I don't have too much to do with them, only a call now and then if our income has changed (which it might soon, cos I'm supposed to be going back to work in 3 weeks time.. ) I hope Josh is feeling better today.... and I hope that heart murmur doesn't cause him too much stress - lets hope its like my cat's - doesn't seem to effect his daily life at all !!

Kel - naughty naughty!!! You must drink water if you are out in the sun tsk tsk.... I hope you are feeling better today.

Vic - OMG - she's the same weight DD was when she was born - woohoo!!! Way to go mummy and bubby!! Keep up the good work!!!!! Miss M is 5.18kg at the moment - so she's not a big bub - just long and skinny (thats what the doc said...)

Both children are sleeping at the moment - yay!!!!! Miss M slept through again last night - woke at 3.30 apparently but DH just put the dummy in her mouth - I'm such a bad mum, don't even hear either of my kids cry at night - and the bassinette is right beside my side of the bed.. pmsl... ahhh.. must have selective hearing or something.. so yeah, she went to bed around 7.45pm, DS went to bed at 8pm and they were both up at 6am - yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DH thinks she is sleeping through cos of the chiro from the other week - so hopefully she keeps it up - time to put her into the cot now we think - getting too big for the bassinette - don't know how DS will go out of his cot though - but its time for the big bed.....

Hmm.. the monitor just went off... ahh.. yup.. someone stirring.. gotta go!!!!
