    Hi guys

MT - sorry Jett has been an unhappy camper for you!!! I hate it when they get sick... hopefully its a shortlived cold for him..

Kiwi - yeah I stay away from the gym - can you do my exercise for me and post me the results.. LOL yay on the sleep through!!!

Vic - yuck on the early wake up... grrr.. hate them!!! Hopefully you can take a nap today or something to make up for it..

Squidipa - I think you are goin great with BFing - keep up the good work hey...

Sasha - DS put on weight really quickly - but at almost 21 months is only 12.5kg - so don't worry too much!!!! Just means he's a big strong healthy lad..

Leash - you'll have to come down to the park next time. (and hit my friend with some Jazz vomit.. lol)

As for us.. wellllll... yesterday was a crappy day - Miss M just didn't sleep, didn't settle, screamed for most of the day.. drove me freakin insane. Poor DS copped a lot of my yelling at him cos everything he did just pi$$ed me off that little bit more and since I can't tell Miss M to shut up because she doesn't understand, he copped a lot of shut up ARICYN...poor thing.. I'm such a bad mummy!!!!

We suspect Miss M has silent reflux - went to the chiro this morning so hopefully he can help her - if not.. hmm. dunno what to do!!!!!!! At least she isn't screaming at the moment - so thats a good thing - perhaps I might get to have some lunch after all!!!!!

Better go - chicko roll is burning under the grill cos I can smell it...

vic - hope your headache has gone and the playgroup meet up was fun.

squidia - cute pics of josh! Does he just have showers now, or baths too? Eli just had a shower once after he pooped in his bath LOL. congrats on the weight gain and still BF.

kel - sorry to hear about cadence, man ear infections are no fun - at any age!! did you get her antibiotics?

leasha - the image of your neighbour was so funny! reminded me of desperate housewives for some reason LOL. your new pic of jazz is gorgeous.

sasha - sounds like our boys are very similar in weight - at 7 weeks Eli was 6.96kg!! the plunket nurse thought everything was totally great with his weight gain which stops me being paranoid about how big he is. they're heavy to carry around eh?!! what size clothing is he in? Eli is in a lot of 3-6 month old stuff!!

mel oh *hugs* that sounds like no fun having a screaming baby for that long. I hadn't heard of silent reflux before, what's the difference with normal reflux?

MT - hope the cold clears up quick for all three of you.

Hi to everyone else - MM, pixie, thebear, calebsmum4eva

Kiwi - normal reflux they spew - silent they don't.... she's not a chucker - thats why its silent cos the normal symptom of reflux ain't there... but they are still uncomfortable and SCREAM a lot.... which is fun... NOT!!!!

Ahhh yeahhhh Kye is a heffalump to carry around hehe My tennis elbow has come back in my right elbow thanks to how heavy his head is (now 42cm in diameter)
Re: clothes Kye is already in 00 and even some 0's - hes not even 7 weeks old yet

I am trying some new tactics until next wednesday when he gets weighed next. If he puts on another 600 I will be so gutted (my aim is between 3 and 400 hundred). My worst fear should he keep putting on 600 grams per week is that he will end up obese, has kind of sent me into 'paranoia land' ... joys of being a mummy I guess LOL

On a different topic we had a great day today. He slept from 11am through till 3pm, couldnt believe it. Finally I think things might be on the up in regards to his day sleeps, hoorah!

Mel - I thought at one stage Kye might of had reflux so elevated the head end of his cot. I am guessing you would probably know to do that?? He screams alot too specially around 5-6pm but his pain yesterday and today has been from constipation, poor fella. My bad though, I changed his formula. I aint ever doin that again LOL

Sash - yeah we can't actually elevate the head of the bassinette cos we have the breathing monitor under the mattress so you can't use it ... arghh... its so painful....

Hopefully the doc will give us good advice on saturday (needles) and I'm going to ring the homoeopath tomorrow to see if they do anything.....

    Hi everyone

Kiwigirl- Yep we were given anti biotics and an ear drop but I can't give them to her as she wont let us and I don't want to pin her down and force it down her throat she seems good now but she'd still be in pain. sorry to hear about the computer virus it annoys the crap out of me how the stupid nerds that create them have nothing better to do

Sasha- WOW Kye's a really big boy! you wouldn't believe that him and Allegra were born the same day! how is he sleeping during the night?

Mel- goodluck with her needles I hate watching them cry in pain and seeing the little tears run down their face your not a bad mum for yelling at Aricyn Cadence cops it all the time too

MM- I can totally sympathise with you Allegra is the same sorry to hear about your DP keeping you awake just give him a little kick to stop the snoring thats what I do

Squidipa- Thats such a good idea to write a log of feeds I was thinking of doing it as it feels like Allegra is always feeding

MT- I hope you guys get better soon I hate having a cold and not being able to eat I especially hate it when you can't taste the food! LOL at only four mums turning up! I've had about 5 calls from the clinic at Caboolture trying to get me to go to theirs

Vic - naughty naughty Nakita I hope she kept the party noise to a minimum for you

Welcome paradiva I hope the last few weeks of your pregnancy goes smoothly for you

wel nothing exciting here just wish Allegra would detatch from me every now and then I gave her a bath earlier and she's crashed! I should be sleeping to but I don't normally go to sleep until 11pm Does everyone elses bad throw a HUGE tanty before crashing for the night? Allegra cries, fusses on the boob and screams before finally attatching and going to sleep nothing I do to keep her quiet works it's so strange.
Apart from her massive weight gain she has also grown heaps she is now 58cm long cadence was shorter then this at 10 weeks!

I hope everyone is well take care kel

    Morning!!!!

I hope all had a good (ish) night

Our night was pretty good ... DH got her to sleep (finally, after only about 20 minutes sleep all damn day) around 6ish - and then I woke her up when we went to bed at 10.45 - and then got her back to sleep probably around 11.30/midnight - and then she woke up at 4am!!! We stuck the dummy in - and she woke up a couple more times - not screaming, just grizzly - so we kept putting the dummy in and she woke up at 7am for a feed!! woohoo!!!!! (shame the boy woke up right on 5.55am though!!) LOL

Hopefully she will have a good day today - ie, sleep and not so much screaming... she is watching the end of "Chicken Run" at the moment (DS wanted the "ducks" on when he got up this morning, we have constant arguments about the fact they are chickens, not ducks... )

Sash - god thats a good growing!!!! I think M was about 59cm at her last check up - but I could be mistaken!!!! Will get her checked again tomorrow when she has her needles (note to self - ring docs today to make appointment for that!!)

Kel - you, Leash, Squidipa and me should really get together sometime - even if its just for morning tea at someone's house. I mean, really, we are all pretty close together... let the kids run wild together while we take care of the babies.. LOL

going to try and get a haircut today - I had a dream the other night that it was all really short like I used to have it (instead of the shoulder length mess I have it in now) so thats made my mind up - I need a hair cut!!!!! Another note to self - ring hairdresser to see if I can get an appointment today....

Might go vac the loungeroom I think - haven't been able to do anything all week because of DS and DD - so since she is happy at the moment - well until I move her to her swing - I'll go vac!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!! Clean floors....

*mwah* Hello and big hugs and smoochy kisses for all (hehehe)

DP came home yesterday morning sick as a dog and his temp kept going up and down all night, so with his coughing and snoring and me having to roll over everytime he rolled over (so he wasn't breathing in my face!)
I hope you had a better nights sleep last night sweet. How is V this morning less grumpy? How is your partner has he been to drs yet do you know what wrong with him? Hope he gets well soon for himself and for you so you can sleep more.

    Hi guys

Squidipa - I think you are goin great with BFing - keep up the good work hey...

We suspect Miss M has silent reflux - went to the chiro this morning
Thanks for you ongoing support im persisting i would like to see a good gain of 125grams this week and over next 4 is my hopes especially as it difficult at times. Has Miss M's reflux dissipated at all since going to chiro? I do understand where you coming from with frustrations and it can at times be so easy to be in a mood with every thing and one. But your doing a great JOB!! Keep up the good work I normally warn the two eldest right now i need you to stay out of my Hair. they usually know and i dont even have to mention anything hehe.

squidia - cute pics of josh! Does he just have showers now, or baths too? Eli just had a shower once after he pooped in his bath LOL. congrats on the weight gain and still BF.
Kiwi Girl (two words) haha ummm its so much easier to shower with him i find he feels safer in my arms i think. Having to get bath out wash it ot and fill and make room and that just at times we don't have the time so just to strip him down throw him in with me is great i love it too Skin to skin contact.

On a different topic we had a great day today. He slept from 11am through till 3pm, couldnt believe it. Finally I think things might be on the up in regards to his day sleeps, hoorah!
Kye feel free to donate some of that good weight over to Josh come on ay friends arnt ya hehe Congrats on the good sleep did you do much?

Thats such a good idea to write a log of feeds I was thinking of doing it as it feels like Allegra is always feeding
Apart from her massive weight gain she has also grown heaps she is now 58cm long cadence was shorter then this at 10 weeks!
Kel thats a good measurement i dunno what josh is MW will do him on Wednesday i can tell he is growing tho hehe Hope velcro babies does ease for you are you using your pouch or sling i find josh gets so comfy in it i can just put him down. Also Josh loves the hamock do you own one? we have a adult one and i just sit in there with hi and he falls asleep straight away but you can buy baby ones too. Think Vic or sasha has one dunno could be wrong. I will continue to log all my feeding details and see over some time what if any patterns are arising and especially with any weight gain. It also helps as when the kids come over TODAY i can make sure i keep to those minimum 9 feeds and not let what i am doing take over as Josh doesn't really winge a lot for feeds.

going to try and get a haircut today - I had a dream the other night that it was all really short like I used to have it (instead of the shoulder length mess I have it in now) so thats made my mind up - I need a hair cut!!!!! Another note to self - ring hairdresser to see if I can get an appointment today....
hey i got myn cut yesterday but the woman didnt listen to me to what i said i wanted ahh well. Got about 8cm taken off between 5 and 8 cm in places. Feels better anyhow tell ay what i am due for is an armpit wax so will be getting that done this week end just gotta try not to forget.

Since this new feeding style josh is feeding every 2 hours through out most of the day. Altho no poopy napies maybe today today is day 3 if he doesnt poop. With out the poop i ham finding he arnt doing changes as much.

ill tell ay how i went yesterday k

2/10/2008 No poo again today 2 nappies hrmmm this is getting strange new feeding style no pooping and less nappies than i am used to :S

after that we fell asleep on couch at 1 am i woke and thought hubbie didnt put camera away from bubbles and the office chair was dwn wa sin no mood t lift it so slept on couch. I am very tiered sore back glad itw as warm as we had no blankets me and josh till about 3 am when i re woke and sore a blanket at end of couch so threw that on and at 5am got hubbe to get me anther.

The 3 year odl has been MUCH better in behavour and withj not getting into much at night i am so happy this is making things easier.

Last night we bough hubbie soem cheap shoes for work from k mart he goes through a pair every 2 months. He bought em soem shoes they are bown with pink sequiens on then and a kriss cross strap over top of foot. they are formt he kids section but i so love them just gotta make sure my daughter doesnt wnat them.

he also got me some 3/4 length leggings with lace trim. And i got a bar mix where the whole detachable stem is stainless steel made from sanyo scored that for $20 bucks yay. Now just need a cheap mixer as i hardly ever use that on ly for cream really hehe.

Btw going to see if there is weight gain this week and then start eliminating things.example just to name a few
Is it the attachment thats the issue?
    is my supply enough?
Is it just times of day that supply is down?
Do i need to buy another breast pump would that make a diff?
    Is his moth to small?
    is it tongue tie related
are my nipple shape not working right for him?
So do i need nipple shields would that help?
Are i not eating drinking enough?
    Is eh feeding enough?
    Is the supply to slow?
    is it mind over matter?
    Are i holding him right?
Is his head back far enough?
Is he not getting the hind milk?
Are i not as comfortable as i could be during feeding?
Is it my stress thats causing a flow on effect?

there is a few factors i need to know is that the problem before i get him tongue tie cut as that may not even be the REAL issue.

    Hello everyone,

Sorry, but there is no way I can catch up, so just a quick one.
Having a rather rough time with Seven and her reflux. Started an elimination diet a while ago - has helped her wind, but not the acid.
Going to the Dr today for our 6 week check (even though she is now 7 weeks) and asking for some Zantac. I hope it helps. I can't stand it when she screams in pain.

Anyway hopefully I can come back later and catch up with what everyone is up to.

    Hope you are all well.

    Love & Hugs

Ya knwo that pic iw as talking about where the color over his left shoulder changes i think it could be a circulation issue glad i got it on camera now cause last time tried to show dr and she aid i cants e it so now i have the proof!!

Josh is sleeping and i am like FINALLY yay a bit of sleep fr you but i have to wake him to feed him soon. then i have to go out and then collect the kiddies

    Hi all!!

Slept a bit better last night - actually didn't realise my eyes had closed until I woke up and had to turn tv off!! Veygas woke at 10pm for a feed. Dp woke at 1am chucking, 38.7 temp. Veygas woke again at 2am (I was still awake with dp) gave dp some panadeine, watched tv til 4am, fed Veygas again, climbed back into bed and watched more tv, and again, didn't realise my eyes were closed til I had to turn off tv again!! Slept til 6.30am.

Took the kiddies shopping while dp went to docs ... the doc he saw on Monday dismissed it as a cold, saw a different doc today and now he has a chest infection and is on 2 antibiotics! While he was out, he also got me a wii fit!!! I'm so excited, cause i don't really have time to get out to the gym!!

Mel - the prob you have with chickens and ducks, we have with cows and horses!! And Khaemon is soooooooo persistent that you just have to agree with him to shut him up!!!!

I think veygas is just a chunky bub - he's about 6.5kg but is fitting into 0000 summer suits!! the 000 are still big on him

Sasha - I call veygas my little heffalump!! He has really strong legs and is always trying to stand on my lap. Earlier today, he was even trying to sit up - I had pillows propped behind him and to the sides, but he was trying to pull himself up and forward! He just doesn't quite have the balance yet though! He cracks it hard lying down now - I think he likes to see whats going on around him!

Kel - I normally do kick him, but I feel sorry for him being sick!

Squidipa - well done for being able to keep tack of all josh's feeds! I don't know where you find the time! Hope all goes well with his hearing test too!

Big hellos to everyone else ... my brain has just had a sudden meltdown ...

Well I am rather upset at the moment.
The Dr told me to take Seven off the Mylanta and give her Gaviscon to thicken the liquid in her belly after a feed.
No Zantac, nothing to help take the pain away from my little girl.

I have to do my bit for the fugly population... OH and we have the same thing with cows and horses too!!! LOL...

Squidipa - good luck to Josh with his hearing test.. M wasn't asleep for hers, but she was quite still so they still got a good result..

This little mummy is tired... Jazz has slept maybe MAYBE 3 hours today since she woke at 4... *scream* i'm practically falling asleep here feeding her and shes awake staring up at me.

OI MEL Dont think I didnt notice that little blue bit of writing there!!! June eh? I'm kind of jealous, Shel and I decided to wait until Jazz is 2 before TTC the next one... but I'm already clucky again...

mm, YAY for the WiiFit... though I haven't been on in a few days. What kind of weight have I gained I wonder... I'm sure it'll let me know, and lecture me about it.

I got AF yesterday... I can use this sign bit annoyed though cos Shel said "oh so thats why you've been cranky!" ... NO THATS NOT WHY I'VE BEEN F-ING CRANKY YOU'RE WHY I'VE BEEN CRANKY! I didn't say that of course lol, I just went "hmmm, well I feel sick so I'm going to bed"... and I did, even though I didn't feel sick (tired, yes, but I wouldn't have gotten away with just going to bed because I was tired...). And Jazz cried. And I laid there, and eventually Shel got her once she realised i was not getting out of bed. AND she settled her WOOHOO no more of that 'I can't settle her' excuse!

Anyway, now shes crying and squirming and I should probably play with her or something. Try and tucker her out. Have a good weekend everyone!
