Birth certificate took, two weeks for us in SA... yikes they are slow in QLD
Leash - yes you are a bad influence *slap slap* ;)
Squidipa - nope no birth certificate here yet - and they took the money off our credit card ages ago..
Vic - It was mostly in the last thread - not the new one. I don't know if its been edited or not, I'm not going back to look - its like a bloody train wreck
Nup no birth certificate here for us either. I was going to ring them the other day as I was getting a bit worried that they hadnt received the form but got on the website instead and it said there was a delay in the issue of certificates up to 10 weeks :wtf:
I noticed when looking at my internet banking the other day they took the money out on the 9th October so at least I know its in process now but its so nice of a government department to not even send you a letter to advise there is a delay hey... grrrrrrr
Well MIL arrived Wednesday night so spent the day with her yesterday. Had a nice lunch here at home. She's here for the next couple of weeks so probably wont be online much.
Anyways the boy is sleeping so I'm gonna get something to eat!
Aww Mel and Pixie, that sucks :(
I am glad that our group is far from a train wreck! I won't be going back to look.. don't think I ened to read that! I would assume that mods - well hopefully Mods got rid of any nastiness!!
We got a birth certificate ages ago - it must be a Queensland thing - what a PITA! Does it mean you can't do things like register your DS/DD for Medicare etc?
Mel - YAY for Austar! I love my Foxtel!
Pixie - nah she's registered on our Medicare through the forms we sent off to the FAO - they add the medicare stuff straight away....
Which reminds me - I have to call the FAO today bout childcare hours today - but soooo don't want to because of all the people ringing up about their $1000 bonus
Nah you just have to have applied to register the birth to be able to get medicare etc :)
Afternoon Ladies ...
Ok, I had all this stuff multi-quoted, and now I have to sort out/ remember WHY!!
Don't worry, Mine DO! He slept bl00dy 14 hours last night and wouldn't have woken up, I reckon, if I hadn't of woken him to feed him before piling the kids in the car!! I hand expressed in the shower (didn't want all that milk literally going down the drain!) and managed 100mls into a bottle (would have been easier if I could find my pump, but I was sooooooo sore, i'm sure it would have hurt!)
That 100mls actually came in handy, cause he got hungry on the way home from shopping, so I gave 2.5yo the bottle to feed him in the car. Would you believe Veygas actaully drank it all in about 5mins??? With an orthodontic slow release teat!! Go figure! I guess he's got his fave sibling! I reckon they'll be great mates!
MT, Veygas has been down to about 4 or 5 feeds a day (and none during the night) but yeah, they let you know if they are hungry!! As for Huggies, I think there is some conspiracy - they purposely have decreased the quality of the nappies to make us buy more!! I even upsized Veygas to the crawler ones and still sometimes get some "good" leaks LOL!
I was gonna ask the same thing!! (I occasionally lurk, but never felt really "right" about jumping in there!)
I think under the circumstances, they'd HAVE to be OK with it! The last place we were in, the bathroom floor started to leak and was threatening to collapse, and this was about a month before our lease was up. The owners offered to put us up in a motel or something, but with 2 kids and 3 cats (at the time) and me still being at uni, it just wasn't feasible, so the real estate let us out of our lease.
Something to consider (I know it's a PITA) but would you consider (or could you) overlap 2 weeks rent in two places??
(oh shyte! DS2 just brought me a whole packet of wipes, minus the packet!)
Funny you should say that Mel, as Veygas did a massive one this morning, and I really do think it's their balls that stop it from going all up their front!!! And YAY!!!!!!!!! for Austar (I just hope we can still get it when we move!!)
Fingers are crossed Vic!! But what you said got me thinking ... I changed the sheets about a week ago, and that afternoon, Veygas chucked up (on clean sheets!) Naughty lazy mummy that I am, I just put a cloth over it to soak it up. The next day, I took the cloth away, but he has slept through the night EVERY NIGHT since then!! I wonder if it's the smell of the milk doing it???? :dunno: We'll see when I change the sheets tomorrow!! LOL!!
I put Veygas's birth certificate application in when he was 1 week old, and we finally got it about 2 or 3 weeks ago (maybe because we are considered regional NSW????) BUt yeah, they had no hesitations in taking the money from our credit card ASAP!!
I'm sure there was more I wanted to say, but this has taken so long now, I just forget!! LOL!! Hope you're all having a fabbo day!!
Ahhh MM.. yes... balls.. makes sense now.. pmsl..
And you know, you can just jump into the july thread - they are pretty friendly in there - some of them must of had their cranky pants on the other night thats all..
Ah Mel, It's understandable to be cranky, esp. with little bubs that won't sleep (or wake up lots) ... sleep deprivation can do terrible things to a person!
Speaking of which, mine is the OPPOSITE!! :o Had to go pick up DD from preschool (V was asleep) so unwrapped him, got him out of bed, put him in the car seat, drove to preschool, got DD, drove home, got him out of the car seat, wrapped him back up and put him back to bed. Do you think he stirred once?? Oh there were a couple of grunts and stretches, half opened eye for a couple of seconds, but he is still asleep!
I'm considering cloth ... any suggestions on where to start? :dunno: I have no idea! LOL!
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhh
cloth!!! my favourite subject!! ;)
oh goodness now you've got her going
*giggles* just joking
PMSL
God my life is pathetic isn't it...lol
Pfft, mines more pathetic. I've got the real estate guy coming tomorrow to do an appraisal and its possible the most exciting thing thats happened this week (mastitis isn't exciting). I almost went and introduced myself to my neighbours I'm that bored (who have been there for 6 months), but I got lazy. So I sat on my butt and pondered whether or not to do housework while Jazz is sleeping.
(And I WAS going to, except then she woke up :p)
HAHAHAHA!!!
I think I beat you.. my most exciting thing this week was having the Austar guy turn up today and now I'm watching Maury.. LMFAO....
We really should get together more often Leash.. bore each other out of doing the housework...
leasha and mel the best thing that happened to me was speaking to my brother yesterday
did ya all know deals direct has free shipping today??
Yeah im sneaky i just checked hubbie's email and he has already got invites to christmas party.
One problem i am sure he would love to go but not tell me and positive he would want to take me but the issue is we don't know anyone really in qld to baby sit getting the 3 year old and 7 and 10 year old looked after by ex would be fine but Josiah hrmmmm to much fr a single man.
Looks like we wont be able to go hey!
You crack me up!!! I do the same thing, and then it's like "oh well, can't do anything, baby's awake now!!" LOL!!
And Mel, I figured "CLOTH" would be right up your alley!!
Squidipa - yeah, it's hard to get someone to look after all 4 kids hey!! Hence why I don't see the big deal in moving a million m ore miles away from family (they're hardly here anyway - not for my IL's trying though!! )
HOW'S THIS????? My DS (7.5yo) is on game ban (DS, xbox etc) cause he keeps playing with DD's (and mine) and then denying it - he even took DD's DS to school (which is against school rules too!) BUT my MIL has PROMISED to get him one for Christmas ... SOOOOOOOOOOOOO ain't gonna happen!!
Bl00dy grandparents!! LOL!
Hello ladies
Leash congrats on the lessons who is your instructer with coastal my BIL does both manual and auto lessons for that company
MM- hee hee gotta love grandparents my mum feeds Cadence lollies then hands her back all hypo. and you just reminded me I'm still waiting for Allegras birth certificate is it normal to take this long? she almost 9 weeks!
Squidipa- Hey chicky how are things? I loooove the end of year christmas party but totally understand about getting someone to look after the kids DF's is on a boat so we have to get his parents to look after the girls over night (my parents winge if they were to look after the girls)
Mel- I got pay tv this week to!!! isn't it great haha Df was watching discovery channel for about 20mins and said maybe we should get discovery channel he thought it was free to air tv  I didn't tell him I was hooking it up I was nearly peeing my pants laughing everytime an add would flash "on discovery channel" and it still didn't click.
Sasha- OMG 10 weeks thats so stupid I have to go to birth deaths and marriages to get my name changed (it's different on my birth certificate) so I can get a passport better start organising now.
Vic- WOW let me know how you go with the breast pads I never thought of that Allegra was up every 2 hours on Wednesday
Pixie- oh you guys had a great night thats fantastic I bet you're feeling all refreshed today.
So sorry I know I have missed people hello to you all
Allegra has developed a cough  so she's a little crabby and unsettled and Cadence has been waking at 2am on the dot the joys of parenthood :p
I can't believe we are being given more money! not complaining though that will pay for my Bali trip and braces PLUS money for christmas
What a chatty bunch!! :D
Vic - breast pads, what a great idea. Might try it when I try transitioning Jett in to his cot. We gave it a go last night and he woke up at 3.30. He never wakes up when he's in our bed, so it might be a bit of a slow process as DH and I love our sleep!
Kel and Mel - Yay for pay TV. We have it here too, and it is fantastic, especially the nights when all you do is channel surf cos there is nothing you want to watch on any of the channels!!
MM - My mother has always said that one of the perks of being a grandparent is getting revenge on their kids.... bloody granparents!! I don't think I could up the size of nappies for Jett, his legs are too skinny, as I discovered with a couple of my cloth nappies :(
Mel - Look at what you've done without even trying... all these cloth nappy people! Although I had started building my stash before I had officially met you!
Leasha - Hope that abscess is going... ouch! and you can avoid going to hospital. And :yeahthat:, what they said, about the lease thing. You should be able to break the lease early due to the circumstances, and the new owners may buy it as an investment property in which case you are in an ideal situation to stay. Saves them going through the process to find suitable tenants. Although they may put the rent up which may not suit you. When is the lease up? When is the house up for sale?
Pixie - Yay for the dummy leading to a good night! Always helpful!
Sasha and CM4E - Mwah!
Not sure who else I've missed but mwah! to you and your bubs too!
Jett has been a bit grumpy today, not sure why and not over the top, just grumpy! Maybe not enough to eat yesterday? Oh well, there is still output in the correct colours and textures pmsl!
This morning I had him on his tummy in his cot and he brought one leg up and kind of pushed up with one arm and rolled over. I'm not sure he meant it though - he had this look on his face like ":wtf: WTF just happened????" but he didn't cry or anything so it obviously didn't bother him! He's asleep right now beside me on his tummy so he is quite content sleeping like that, but just for the record I would never put him down for a sleep like that unsupervised! ;)
Someone asked my what Gymbaroo was (can't remember who, sorry) it is activity based learning developing kids physical abilities. They sometimes use equipment and sometimes just on the mat. For example, we were sitting on the floor with them on our outstretched legs singing Jack and Jill. As we sang "Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water" we raised our knees so they became more upright, "Jack fell down" lowered our knees, "and broke his crown" circled the tops of their heads with our fingers "and Jill came tumbling after" we would raise and lower one knee at a time so they would tilt side to side. It is developing their sense of space, and teaches them a sense of rhythym at the same time which is needed for such things as crawling and walking. As they grow older they do different activities based on their physical development at that age. She also mentioned that because babies spend so much time on their backs now while they are sleeping it is good to put them down for playtime on their beliies as much as possible and when they crack it, as they all do, to roll them over rather than pick them up and put them on their backs to again develop their sense of space and get them used to what it feels like to roll. I found it all very interesting.... and like I said, Jett loved it!
hehehe Squidipa - there's only a month between them!! Zak's in January. As for the ban, it WAS meant to be over in the 1st week of december, but who knows now! DP already told his parents off for it - they just seem to do it so much, like last time they were up here a few weeks ago, they rocked up with a 2 wheeler bike for 2.5yo :wtf: We were upset cause we had seen a bike that we wanted to get for him (with a handle on the back for us to control the bike) ... they just do ***** without thinking ...
MT - after Veygas's hernia op, I was too scared to have him in bed with me (and he had just spent 3 days in a cot by himself in the hospital), I was surprised at how well he adjusted to being in the cot. My DD preferred the cot as well when she was a bub ... but all kids are different. I KWYM about loving sleep!! LOL!
As for sleeping on their tummy, all of my kids so far (except Veygas!) have managed to roll onto their tummies during the night (as bubs) and tey still sleep on their tummies!! I think it's genetic, cause I prefer to sleep on my tummy too!! :p
oh and :yeahthat: about grandparents! And channel surfing too!
MT - both my babies have slept on their tummy
Interesting about the tummy sleeping. Especially the genetic theory, i love sleeping on my tummy too, I missed it so much while preggas. I'm not game enough to put him down to sleep on his tummy unless I will be there and awake, but he did manage to wriggle in to the frog position earlier, like the kid on the bonds easysuit ad, so I think he would be fine. I let him have a decent sleep like that before - 3 hours in the end! He's now crashed out on the couch with DH (also crashed out). Awww so sweet!
MT - I'm a tummy sleeper too so I go with the theory. If babies can lift their head up and turn it from side to side whilst on their belly - they are pretty safe. DS could do it from birth - strong little bugger..
We do have a baby movement monitor though - so thats there for peace of mind. (We don't take the risk - after one death of a baby in our family - we don't risk it cos we don't want to go through that again!!)
(Oh should mention - it wasn't due to SIDS)
Had a SHOCKING night last night. I think DH was up with the kids sooo many times, too many to count... he let me stay in bed, but I woke up every time they did!!! Only let me stay in bed cos I've got the worst cold and feel like utter crap.
DD is still sleeping at the moment, DS woke up at 6.15 and actually jumped into our bed for a cuddle (its a first!!)
Suppose I'd better go make breakfast for me and DH before I get myself ready to go out - ALONE - and do the grocery shopping this morning.
:loveshower::leap::loveshower:
YAY!!! She did it again - slept from 10.30 till 6.30 this time!!!
So happy with her, although she was completely buggered the poor little mite!
big wave to everyone, gotta run because we have the markets this morning
Yay.. well done Beth
DD is just waking up now for her bottle - which is great.. I can go shoppin...hehe
Hi everyone,
Kel, I think she said Belinda is the instructor for Beerwah, although I am travelling to Caboolture to get the most out of the lessons (only so much you can do in Beerwah!). Bit scary but I've gotta do it!
Mel, PMSL at Maury... everytime I see that show its always a "Who's your daddy" show where he's yelling out "The DNA test comfirms that...... you are....... NOT the father" *gasp* and the mother runs off screaming and crying. Although if its not on kids shows you'll mostly find me watching Law & Order or Seinfeld! Shel is so sick of Seinfeld!
Well I think we are moving to Caboolture. Rent is cheaper for nicer places, the rent we're paying now is soooooooooo low compared to other Beerwah rentals. Plus it means I am marginally closer to my parents (and I say marginally because they're still ages away...). It's funny you know... all the ***** we went through in pregnancy and I could've moved to WA for all I cared, the further away the better, and now I just wish I had them here you know... I guess its true that you never truly appreciate your parents until you're a parent. There are so many things I was angry at them for but... I dunno, having Jazz has just made me feel different. I still feel angry at some things that hapened growing up but... dunno :dunno: I just want a big hug from my mum!
I avoided hospital too. It's clearing up, so the ABs are dropped back to one tablet 4 times a day now. I guess it must not have been turning into an abcess afterall, because I didn't think an abcess just cleared itself up? Anyway, not that it matters. Now I just have to deal with these attachment issues she has, they've only come up since the mastitis I think, well latching on was the most painful thing I wasn't about to get her off and have her do it again. It think thats whats causing the ouchy cracked nipples. Hmmmm, well Jazz isn't a tummy sleeper, she sprawls onto her back and stays there the whole night. I am a tummy sleeper though, I slept on my tummy during pregnancy (until I started teetering back and forth like a seesaw, then I figured I should probably stop ) and after the c/s I practised tummy time myself until I could sleep on my tummy. OMG it was so good when I finally could. I tried sleeping on my tummy this past week but my boob hurt to much lol.
Ummm..... do your bubs roll? I saw someone said they roll onto their tummy... Jazz won't even roll front to back yet? Actually its like her head is really heavy cos she doesn't hold her head up much when shes on her tummy is this ok? She doesn't push up with her arms... Oh god now I'm freaking out, should I go see someone?
LOL stop freaking - she is fine!!!
;)
All babies develop at different rates, so I'm sure she will just do it in her own time.
If she gets to 6 months and not doing it - then there could be a problem.
Don't try to make her grow up too quickly, or you forget to notice the little amazing things they learn to do ;)
Leash - Veygas isn't rolling yet ... I thought he was before his op, but then realised it was because I was putting him to bed on his side (it relieved the pain and the wind building up), and he was just rolling the rest of the way to his tummy.
Is it wrong of me to expect a slight delay in his development due to the op? I know it shouldn't affect his development, but he kinda did go backwards a little bit (even lost weight) after the op. Eh, I'll just let him plod along at his own pace (he does have 3 other siblings who are MORE than happy to do stuff for him LOL!!)
pmsl @ Maury!! The chicks always swear black and blue that this is the only guy they slept with, and they are 150% sure that he is the baby's daddy, and then the tests show that he's not!! Or on the other side of the coin, where the chicks have cheated on their hubbies and the baby MIGHT NOT be theirs!! LOL!
Pixie - Yay for Beth sleeping!! 6th night for me ... 7pm-7am! (and I accidentally woke him up, cause I thought I heard him, but it turned out to be Khaemon making noises LOL!)
We are currently looking at land in and around Stanthorpe (obviously not physically LOL!) and are looking at building options .... still trying to decide whether we will build straight away, or wait .... it's all just random thoughts at the moment anyway!
MT - how sweet for Jett and DH to be crashed out together!! When DS2 was little, he'd ONLY sleep on daddy's chest!! Day or night! No wonder he's such a daddy's boy!! LOL!
Hope everyone is having a good day ... I gotta go and hang out my 4th load of washing for the day! I think I only have one more to do! (otherwise DP and DS might be going to work and school nakey!! LOL)
Happy Saturday Everyone!
Mel - :comfort: for the cold, I know EXACTLY how you feel! How sweet of your DH to let you stay in bed!
Pixie - YAY for the long sleeps! That is wonderful news! Clever girl Beth! Let's hope she keeps it up!
Leasha - PMSL at you getting worried about Jazz not rolling! Jazz has other skills that Jett doesn't eg. he doesn't bat at his hanging toys yet.... he just watches them! As MM suggested they all learn and develop different skills at different rates. I have a poster that says the typical behaviour at different stages, and batting objects is in the 6-8 weeks range while rolling from front to back says that they may be doing it at 4 months. So you can see Jett is not following the rules! Although last night he was practicing rolling from back to belly.... didn't quite make it but was def trying! Back to side and then to back again!
I also agree with you about appreciating your parents and their parenting more when you become a parent yourself.
MM - I have so many photos of DH and Jett crashed out together! DH reckons Jett puts him to sleep, cos every time he holds him while sitting on the couch he falls asleep! I think Jett has a very calming influence on DH, which is saying something as he is quite a placid person anyway!
I don't think it is wrong to expect a slight delay in V's development. He would have been in pain and so distracting him from exploring his new world. So to me it would be perfectly acceptable for him to be slightly behind, but I wouldn't expect the delay to last any more than a few months. Like the way premmies eventually catch up to those bubs born full term at the same time. And besides, with all his older siblings he is more likely to suddenly take off cos he wants to be like them!
Ok, I'm off to the pregnancy, babies and childrens expo this arvo. It is supposed to be a 29 degree day here, but it has come over all overcast and windy so we may get rain, but then again this is Melbourne in a drought! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your day!
Hi everyone
sorry no personals today waaaaaay to tired we had a shocker last night. Allegra didn't sleep and cried constantly until 2am and wouldn't take the boob but before that at midnight someone fired a gun in the park behind our house! I thought at first it was fireworks but DF jumped out of bed and said thats a gun which is strange as nothing wakes him! and he knows what a gun sounds like as he was in the army. THEN Cadence decided to wake up at 4am so I really really want to move house now!
take care everyone
ROFL I know = I love it, it's so sh*t!!! The Bear absolutely hates it though.....:
Mel, PMSL at Maury... everytime I see that show its always a "Who's your daddy" show where he's yelling out "The DNA test comfirms that...... you are....... NOT the father" *gasp* and the mother runs off screaming and crying.
Leash, the other day Beth was rolling from her back all the way to one side, and back on her back and all the way to the other side. The Bear said she rolled all the way over on the bed but I haven't seen that one yet. Although now she doesn't mind tummy time at all, and before she hated it. But like Mel said, they all do different things at different times. Sounds like Jazz is going well to me! Good to hear you didn't have to go to hospital for the abscess.... but bummer on the attachment issues. For some reason Beth tries to nearly rip my left nipple off, but the right one she is always fine. :dunno:
MT - lucky you going to the Baby Expo.... haven't heard if it came to/ is coming to Sydney? Maybe some Sydney ladies know (are there any Sydney ladies here?)
Squiddy = bummer about the Xmas party....
Hmmm well the Bear is cooking lunch, and Beth is asleep in her rocker and we have a friend over so should probably be trying to be sociable! waves to all :)
:leap:SLEEP SLEEEP SLEEP SLEEEP SLEEP:leap:
OMG what an awesome night, if I had gone to bed earlier I would have gotten more!! Gave Nakita her bottle around 11:30, had a lot of trouble burping eventually got 3 good ones out of her, put the new boobie pads in her pram and she slept until 5:48am, gave her dummy, woke at 6:10 for a feed, fed her, finished just after 6:30 - can you believe it, she is getting so much quicker!!, then back to be for both of us and I woke at 9:40am to her chatting away - and she didn't want a feed until nearly 11am!!
I have to go for now got people coming over and need to do the floors and go to the shops have a great day!!
Oh yeah Nakita's hair is having a growth spurt - grown quite a bit in the last week!!!
 YAY for the long sleep Vic!!! it's sooo good when that happens isn't it!
We have had a great couple of days, Beth slept through the last two nights, and this morning she didn't wake up until 7.30 :loveshower: my boobies nearly exploded!
I forgot to mention the other day - put her on the scale when I was at mother's group and she's up to 5.8kg! Little porker!
Kel - sorry about your shocking night the other night, hope last night was better!
MT - how was the expo? did you find anything you liked?
Mel, hope you're feeling better
MM - lordy all that washing! and yay for your son the champion sleeper!
Well, we had a busy day here yesterday, markets, a friend came over, then my mum and her friend came over and the Bear drove them to the airport, they are going to Italy for 3 weeks. Just a quiet day today I think. We just found a bunch of wasps making a nest in the frame of our bedroom window - EEEEEEEEK! have to get the pest people in, don't want them anywhere near our baby!
Morning!! (just!! LOL)
Pixie - hope you get rid of the wasps before they do anything nasty!! I hate the little buggers - our old house was a constant attraction for them! :o
Vic - yay for sleep!!
Kel - I really hope Allegra has settled for you hun :comfort:
MT - how was the expo?
Leash - hope that abscess has cleared up!
I just wanted to say that I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging when Veygas sleeps through, cause it does worry me. I guess as mummy's, we can't win, we worry when they sleep and we worry when they don't! This is new for me, as my other three never slept through the night this young (although DD would have a long day sleep), so I'm sorry if I offended anyone!!
Have a good Sunday all!
MM - no offence taken here - I think it is fantastic!!
Nakita slept through to 7:30am here
Oh any my milk is back - yay!!
Must run. second lot of markets for the day to go to!!!
Hello Everyone,
Sorry I haven't been posting, but I have been reading!
Had a rough time the past couple of days, and DF isn't helping much! I lost it last night and had a rant in the September Baby Buddies thread, but I'm not going to whinge to you all as well!
You all have your own stuff to deal with!
I won't try to catch up now, but hopefully I can try to keep up from now on.
Hope you are well.
Vic - YAY for milk!!!! :leap: WOOOOHOOOO!!!
CM4E - hope everything starts to pick up for you hun!! Your wedding is quite soon now isn't it? Must be very stressful :comfort: And hey, we are all here if you need to blow off steam!!
Squidipa, hun, hope you are OK
yeah im o.k but i guess just o.k :) thanks for thinking of me!!
i have read all the posts but my brain is like where do i start so im not gonna over stress it this morning,
think that Miss N slept threw night well done what a good girl:dance:
kel... that would have freaked me out but then again i grew up in some very ruff neighborhoods. So now ya wanna move are you sure? or was it just the shock of the gun shot?
CM4E.... i read your post out in the other thread to hubbie and he asked me did I post that!! i said noooo. i sleep lots on the couch too and carry josh round pretty much all day sleeps good in evening and night but NOT during day. He may not weigh 5 kilo's but he does get heavy even in sling/pouch. BIG HUGGLES:hug:
a few days ago i said to hubbie what do you think i do all day? he said Nothing honestly. he was in a grumpy mood that day but still unfair on me he did apologize a couple of times wrote me a letter and notes and sent me an email too. He said over this weekend he is eating his words as i let him take care of joshie more than normal. While i was helping kids with tree. Even tho hubbie said that and said he didnt mean it it does still very much hurt but i know that he didn't truly mean it he just had his grumps on.
Ya see he isnt working enough hours at works and they are slowly building him up after his old job ended. So we sorta having cash issues and not to mention a mans ego.
Pixie 5.8 well done certainty a great eater!!
oh crap i don memba much this morning, leasha thats great it didnt tun out to be an abses. Has all the pain gone?
well this week end we put TREE up yes the CHRISTMAS tree up.... gotta get some good use out of it takes all day start to finish. But this year it was to much with Josh so we done it over two days but i still have more deco's to hang last time i counted there were around 500 deco's i buy more every year. Its a 7.5 foot tree and the angel is touching roof like aways :) With 37 meters of lights on it too boot. This will be our first Christmas in this area and with joshie so VERY special. When it takes as long as ours does to put tree up we all have to help and we like to put it up early plus so the eldest two kids get thier fair share of time with it.
As the EX always says i cant ever do Christmas the way you do... You make it very special for the kids with all your traditions. Plus I cook food!!!!! And we have an eve meal this is the BIG special one gifts are given here! I do tho GRRR the EX he says all his gifts are form him none form Santa normally. Isn't it funny how SANTA gets all the credit for years and years. Its a bit like what you were taking about leasha as in i remember saying to mom years ago thanks mom for all the Christmas presents ya bought for us over the years from Santa. Everything changes when you become a parent but also your expectations of your parents change also.
This post seems to be taking me some time i have just finished another feed. It seems that josh is real restless all day long but he sleeps from last feed of day than can be anywhere between 4.50 or 8pm till 4am when he stirs altho i wake him slightly to try to sometimes feed him at 10.30ish.
Basically Joshie is feeding for 30mins on average and 4 times a day sometimes 5. I dunno how weigh in will be this week but it will be interesting i am going for 140 gain i hope:pray: Wonder how long it will take for the Pead appointment to come up.
Ya know what i did i bought a skateboard for my son for Christmas only to find there is still his old one down stairs that i thought got broken an lost or thrown out when we moved. he has obviously forgotten about it. What should i do now. I cant take it back as i got it from deals direct.
Ya know those catalouges ya get that they leave outside ya front door??? Well i am gonna get some glow in the dark angels from it yay cant wait just gotta remember to go and fill the thing out and put it out front by tomorrow.
sorry josh needs me bbs
one hand typing.... dadda is vacuuming before going off to apply for a teacher aid job well get application any how then on to work. The vacuuming has settled Josiah to sleep.
What was i gonna say??? Oh thats right MM i been thinking lots and lots and maybe thats why i am only o.k. Hubbie's been in a constant grump!! ego me thinks and i been questioning and thinking lots about loads of different topics. Do you think its strange that hubbie always falls asleep when i talk to him or if standing he nods on and off?? Think he needs to keep busy or else. Maybe low in iron i dunno We dont eat much meat here.
hrmm hubbie yelled oh SH** thinking whats happened gonna go check! back again he dropped the end off the mop down the side of the house. The gate to side of house was stuck and he wasn't looking properly he couldnt see it wouldn't just slide back the bolt so all the wriggling in the world wouldn't move it. So with josh in one arm hubbie got me the hammer and i fixed the gate.
o.k this is getting quite lengthy so i should just stop now and continue a post later if i have the time

*EDIT EDIT**
DS7 doesnt listen to me saying just stay here and play and decides to follow me out side DS3 follows DS7 and DS7 slams door on DS3's toes. If they both listened to me in the first place it wouldn't have happened. I was going to check if DD was doing what i told her..Question why does it take a 10 year old 15 mins to put suncream on and its still not rubbed in?
