Misty - crapola... sorry to hear that - but am keeping my fingers firmly crossed that it is not a prolapse I really have no idea what else it could be but fingers are still firmly crossed for you
Misty - That doesn't sound tooo good hun. Hope it works out not to be too bad... Eloise has the same issues as Baz she can get to sleep during the day, but one of the kids usually scream or knock something that wakes her up :-) Tuesdays and Fridays are our sleeping days lol (no kids at home)

Saffi - Eloise has silent reflux - so doesn't vomit (means she still gets the food and able to pile on lots of weight) also feeds more regulary to sooth her throat... during the day we're feeding ever 1-2hours... Yay on immi's weight gain! that's great Eloise loves being in the carrier too And i had to laugh at part of your post "Misty - hope you survived looking after 4 kids." I have four kids hehe
Cheezel - Hope ur DH has got better, My DP just went back to work on Thursday, and omg what a shock to the system hehehe... No routine here either during the day, But at night we go down at 8, wake at 12 then again at 4. Just depends how long she stays up for each time, sometimes its only 20mins other times its an hour
AFM - Eloise meds must be working, she is a lot more settle now, and has less of the screaming in pain screaming!!! She's only cat naps during the day, and thats if i'm holding her, leaves me with getting nothing done, Lucky DP doesnt mind hehe!
And my OMG moment - Last night she rolled!!! From her back to her right side! She must of wanted to watch the TV (the lake house was on, she's going to be into romantic movies like her mummy :P )
Anyways i best be off, I have so much study to do for my exam on Wednesday! I need to read everything twice just to make it sink in...

Hey everyone just dropping in while I can. Am very tired I only had about 3-4hours of sleep last night, not because of Daniel, I just couldnt get to sleep!
Daniel is going very well, he weighs about 5kgs now, so putting on excellent weight gain, he is rolling onto his side and I got a very gorgeous smile last night. Makes it all worthwhile when his little face lights up!!
Misty- wow well done on looking after 4 kids! I sometimes struggle with one haha
Cass- Good luck with all your exams! and well done to Eloise on rolling yay!
Saffi- Hope everything goes ok with the breastfeeding and you get the help you need
CM- Glad to hear that Peter has recovered from the cold, but your poor DH! And yes Daniel isnt constipated anymore which is a relief.

ggrrrr my nephew is a brat and very whiney - he could be acting up just for my benefit. Am I a terrible person to say that I will be glad when he is gone back to his mum.
I have finally got all three older kids down for a nap (although I can hear one of then quietly talking to themselves), they are all in seperate rooms. Now I am just trying to get a very overtired baby to have a sleep.
DH is out helping my mum and dad unpack a truck full of stuff into my sisters new house. We just realised this morning that DH and I have been together 11yrs today, if it wasn't fathers day I would ask my parents to baby sit tonight so DH and I could go out to dinner. Maybe next year.

Silent Reflux
Silent reflux can be very confusing there may be no obvious signs of reflux (such as vomiting) and the child generally isn’t ‘silent’. Silent reflux refers to refluxed material that goes up the oesophagus, but isn’t forced out of the mouth. The child may swallow it back down or the stomach contents/stomach acids may not come up the oesophagus far enough to be swallowed. This can be very distressing for the baby and cause problems; and can be even more damaging because it can sit in the oesophagus longer than if the child vomited. Medical intervention may be necessary because the same complications can arise, however it can be harder to recognise without any noticeable vomiting. If they are comfort feeders as well, then poor growth may not be an issue, and they may in fact have huge weight gains. This can also contribute to a delay in diagnosis.
Signs and symptoms
Infants under the age of 2 years
Irritability, excessive crying or screaming
Vomiting, posseting or regurgitation
Appearing to be in pain
Recurrent hiccups
‘Wet’ burp or hiccups
Congestion, ‘snuffling’ or appearing to have a cold
Bad or sour smelling breath
Feeding issues
displaying a fear of food or unwillingness to eat
pulling away and arching their back
crying during or after feeds
refusal to feed or only taking a small amount despite being hungry
comfort feeding- wanting to feed frequently
gagging/spluttering
difficulty swallowing
Sleeping issues
catnapping during the day
frequent night waking (though some refluxers do sleep well at night)
easily disturbed from sleep
Hoarse voice
Repeated coughing or wheezing
Weight issues e.g. inadequate weight gain, weight loss or excessive weight gain
Wheezing/coughing
Frequent red throat, with infection not necessarily a factor
Recurrent chest, ear, throat or sinus infections
Drooling or excessive salivation (known in medical circles as waterbrash)
Dental erosion/decay
Gagging themselves (using their hand/fist/fingers)
