tk - I just wanted to give you my take on things as someone who had a SCN baby first time around and had some troubles BFing, feel free to ignore it or take it on board as you wishTake Caitlin's weight as whichever is more favourable to what you want to do, many ECHN's are very cautious with weight gains and will recommend comping with formula at the drop of a hat. If that is not what you want to do, go with whatever weight is best
This is just my experience, but I got better advice from my paed who was very pro BFing and encouraged me to continue exclusively when the nurses were telling me I needed to be comping. I really wanted to exclusively feed her and regret still that I listened to some of the more dodgy nurses. I know its easy for me to say now when every thing has gone smoothly feeding the second time around too, so like I said feel free to ignore me if you want LOL GL anyway with the next weighing, hope you don't even need to worry!
