Good Morning Everyone

I came on here about a week ago (time flies huh!! ??) and was really proud of myself writing my best contribution to the group with personals and it disappeared! I got a bit cranky as you all know how much of an effort it is to be able to do that. So here goes another attempt. Although DD is due to wake anytime.

Misty: Great work on the weight gain! Sorry to hear about FIL. Thinking of you and your family. LOL re: set top box! 00 clothes, I have quite a few nice 00 outfits for DD that I can't wait for her to wear, but still in 0000 even some 00000.

Willow: Sorry to hear that DS is having a few hurdles at the moment. I can only imagine how worried you would be. But fingers crossed the next U/S shows some good news

Chezel Monster: Fantastic news about Peter's hips. As for the growth. Miss Z has grew 8cm in her first 8 wks. So I hope it is normal How did your sister go with the labour?

Saffi: Not good to hear about Immi's cough. Myself and DH both had the booster shot. Miss Z hardly sleeps at all through the day usually either. A few 20min cat naps is about it.

TK: Have you been to the GP about Caitlin's hernia? I have heard that bepanthen cream is good but obviously even better. Will have to keep it in mind, we've got some from DH getting his tattoo's. We use Paw Paw cream and it seems to work well for Miss Z. Good work on the Cloth, i've been thinking about getting a few and using them through the day and sposies at night. How was Caitlin's weigh in? Miss Z is still in 0000 and even some 00000. She only has a couple of cute outfits but I don't want to buy any more because I keep hoping she'll get to the 000/00 outfits I have for her soon. Someone told me I should cherish having a small baby because it feels like a newborn for longer. Positive way of looking at it I guess.

Cass_Blob: Hope you manage to get some "me" time soon. I'm probably having a brain fart but have you tried using a sling or carrier for Elouise to help you do some things with 2 hands?

Megan H: WTG with the Gym! I hear you on the grunting. It's like we've brought home a zoo of animals with Miss Z, her grunting and farting is amazing. Quite orchastral hahaa

Koru: How did you go with the vaccine research?

Larne: How did you go with Chloe's weight gain. Good to hear the meds seem to be working.

AFU: I took DD off her meds for 36hrs the other day to see how she went, I feel really mean but I just needed to know that it wasn't a passing phase that I'd hoped for. Yep they work and we're back on them. How do you other ladies give bubbas their meds? We have medicine form that we got in perth but won't be able to do that going forward.

Much like Koru and Cheezel Monster I'm frustrated with DH roster. He leaves for work at 5 and gets home at 630 he works 3 days followed by 3 nights which pretty much leaves me a single mum for 7 days straight. DD had her 8 week weigh in and was 4.2kg and 56cm long. You might have read my thread on Plagicephaly (flat spot) and the health nurses response that I wasn't happy with. Her forehead is starting to be affected and so going to take her to the GP but also trying to find a Paediatric Osteopath in Perth. I've heard that they have a lot of sucess with reflux also so would be worth the expense of getting to Perth to try. I went to a mothers group for new mums at a ladies house on Monday and it was really nice. I wen to the public Tiny Tots yesterday and it wasn't as good but worth keeping in mind if I want to get out of the house.

Had a fight with DH last night that left me feeling really quite deflated. DD has been really good the last couple of days and so he suddenly thinks that is what life is like all the time. He was really quite nasty and I couldn't believe it. He said "your mum did it with 3 kids and you can't even handle 1". Apparently there is no excuse not to have the house immaculate and dinner on the table for him. My "me" time is when he is at work - figure that out! Anyway he thinks I'm lazy cos all I have to do is feed Miss Z and wash her clothes. Now that I don't work full time he shouldn't have to help around the house as he works and needs his 6 days off for him. He is not comprehending financial changes either and continuing to spend selfishly including the $6000 bike he got and now that is a never ending pit requiring money. So our savings are going quickly and I can't bare the thought of putting Miss Z in childcare here especially after the stories I heard the other day from someone who worked there when they first got to town.

Anyway - Can't believe I got that off my chest to you girls, just wondering how you keep your house in order and have dinner ready cos I seem to be failing miserably some days.

Hope you're all well and enjoying the watching your babies grow up into little people xx
