Misty - WTG on the weight loss. Megan - I'm in awe of you training for the run. Koru - I guess one advantage of living in Qld is we don't have daylight savings to disrupt baby's sleep. Still I'd prefer to have it as DS is waking at 5am when the sun comes up. Willow - thanks for the long post. I am going to try going by time. I have put her down for a sleep now so hoping that it lasts for more than 10 minutes.

AFU - things are ticking along. I wasn't able to get Immi vaccinated last week cos the Dr wouldn't do it with her cough. I'll go back next week when she is hopefully better. I had the WC vax and my arm hurt for a few days afterwards so I can only imagine how the baby feels after all theirs.
I'm hobling around at the moment as I've hurt my back with lifting of babies and toddlers. I went to the physio this morning and am now all taped up, but able to move a lot easier. The physio wants me to BF standing up or lying down.
Anyway better take advantage of Immi being down and get some things done.
Just saying Hi to everyone! Not much to report, Max is sleeping pretty well during the night, just wish I was able to fall asleep as quickly as he can! He's getting chubbier and chubbier, he's now in 00 clothes well and truly. He loves to have a chat and laugh. He really is a happy baby.I'm very lucky.
Misty- Hope you're getting some rest, Don't know how you do it with three littlies...Megan as well....hats off to you both!
Koru- Thats funny what you said about Daylight savings, Max has actually slept better and been more settled since daylight savings. He actually goes off to bed happily around 8pm for the night. it could just be coincidence though.

Hi everyone - I have been trying to write a big post for you all but my computer is hungry and keeps eating it.
DD was weighed last Thursday and she has broken the 4kg mark... she is now 4.350kg!! She is in 0000 clothes and having more days in cloth nappies. She doesn't really like tummy time but I make sure she has at least a few minutes each day... well until she cracks it and almost screams the house down!
I have been reading and your bubbas are all doing so well... congrats mummas! You are all doing fantastic jobs
Re housework... it has been the topic of many an argument between DP and I. We spent a sunday at home um last week or so (can't remember which sunday it was) and he saw how time consuming our darling DD can be. It was a small insight for him but he still thinks I should be able to juggle it all. I do have half a mind to express a stash of milk and go out for the day (with expresser in hand LOL) and give him the chance to get everything done in the day... but I can't bring myself to do it.

El is 5.3 kgs, had her 2month vax, zantac is working much better, i can get stuff done if shes in the carrier.

Sorry for no personals. My Pop passed away this morning so Miss Z and I are flying down to perth and across to Brisbane on our own on Friday eeeiik. I knew it was on the cards, but it doesn't make it any easier. I thought he had bit longer than that and I planned on taking her to meet the grandparents after my sis has her baby in 4 wks. Just wish she had of got to meet and have a photo with him
On a positive my proud Dad gets to finally hold his grand daughter. She was in neo nates and could only look through the window when he flew over to see us for a few days. (I'm a daddy's girl so that means the world to me).
Miss Z has been sooo unsettled. She screamed non stop for a few hours the other day. Was quite distressing by the end of it. Hoping to take her to an osteopath while I'm over in the big smoke

Has anyone else's ticker stalled? I think mine got stuck a few days ago.....our kitchen clock ran out of battery yesterday and my whole day was out of whack - must be something in the stars.....
We've been borrowing a friends baby swing (battery powered with music and dangling toys) which has been a great device for allowing me a trip to the loo/shower without Orla stuck to me in the sling but she tires of it after about 15 mins (so no good for making dinner!) Luckily I didn't rush out and buy her one! Have to return it today tho Has anyone used one of those 'jumping joey' things you hang from the doorframe? I think that'd be more her thing since she LOVES to bounce - how young can they be to use them?????
I think she may be having the 6 week growth spurt at 8 weeks: feeding like a maniac and sleeping all arvo (unfortunately does not extend to sleeping all night!). I was hpoing to reduce my milk oversupply but somehow I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon....
Koru - I have a swing, I love it for DS2, It is a little portable one. I also have a Jolly jumper - haven't used it with DS2 yet - honestly, all of my babies have loved the JJ, but only for 15mins at a time and it is such pain getting them in and out of it, it often isn't worth it - they can usually be used from about three months, but it depends on bubs head control. I think I am going to sell mine - I no longer have a door frame to hang it in, and don't think I would use it enough to justify buying stand for it.
With DS1 I bought an activity center which was much better and easier - It is like a seat which bubs sits in like a walker only stationary. He spent ALOT of time in it, I need to clean it up so DS2 can use it.
Baz had his shots on monday. He is the same length as at six weeks and has only gained 300g since then, which is fine by me (so he is now 6.3kg). I couldn't find ny clean 00 clothes yesterday so I put him in a 0 wondersuit instead and it fit him.
Spent all day yesterday out at a play center with some other mums I have met through BB, it is so good to get out of the house - the weather hasn't been great here, so they are going a bit stir crazy lately.
