    Hello Ladies,
Well I have got my Laptop back but I am so not happy. For some reason all of my photos have gone. I am so upset. Every photo of Jett has gone. I hope that my brother has backed them up on something.
I have no MSN and I am just so lost as I have to set everything up from the start again.
It has been raining all day here, which is just great. I think we are only level 3 water restrictions. Our grass is dirt and the plants are dead, so I am wrapped that it has been raining (hailing even).
Well Jett is still not crawling and I am feeling like I have failed in some way. I know that I haven’t but it is horrible to see a frustrated baby that wants to move but has no idea of how to do it. I went to see the MCHN and she made me feel a little worse, I told her that he loves his walker; she said that is your problem. Deep down I knew that it was the reason for Jett not crawling. Anyway good news is he is dragging himself along. It is very funny he looks like a little worm.
He is 11kg so maybe that is the reason he has trouble getting around.
I have decided that I am over formula and I am weaning Jett onto cow’s milk. I have 1 tun of formula to use and so far it is going well. I am doing ¾ formula and the rest cows milk. Next week I will do half and half then ¼ and the rest milk. By that time he will be 1. OMG!!!!!
I just got an email from a friend that I grew up with that more to America. She has just had a baby boy 6 weeks ago. I had no idea she was even pregnant.
Tiggy – Hi Love, I hope you are doing well. Seems you have been so so busy of late. I hope that Ivy and Noah’s 1st Birthday went well. I can’t wait to see the pictures. We are gearing up for Jett’s I have so much to get done wasn’t suppose to be major but it is turning out that way.
Missy – I have just been on to check out your photos. Callum is just so cute. You have great looking kids.
Renee – I love the ticker!! You must send me updates when you add pictures to Marnie’s web page; I love to see all of the December/January bubs.
God I am so mad I have been sitting her for 3 hours trying to download messenger, I truly have no idea!! I have wasted the whole bloody night doing it.
Anyway more chats tomorrow. Night all

    Back again!

Thanks Renee! I dont think I could be a moderator though, Im not very impartial sometimes LOL! Poor Marnie. I hope the antibiotics flush it out of her system. Asthma is a hard thing to diagnose in babies. I would just see how she goes with the antibiotics. Dont stop those things yet. If you do suspect allergies or something, have her tested. Easier than eliminating things she may enjoy IYKWIM? Anyway I am thinking of you and Marnie hoping she gets well soon! All of you handle your babies being sick so well. I think when Jasmine gets sick I will be a complete mess! I cant believe Ive almost made it to a year with only a runny nose one time to deal with! *runs around and touches all the wood in the entire house*

Dani Does Jett move around in his walker? Jasmine never moved around. She pushed herself backwards a couple of times, but I really just used it if I wanted to amuse her (contain her really LOL) for a moment. She would try and bounce in it like in her jumperoo and she just didnt like it at all cos it didnt do much! Its now a dust catcher. Dont beat yourself up about it. If he loves being in it, then how hard will it be to take that away from him? He is dragging himself along? Look out he is on the move!!! YAY! See, he just likes to take his time. If it makes you feel any better one of my 'friends' has a 13.5 month old who is only JUST starting to crawl. Babies are just so different!
Let me know how you go with the cows milk. I dont know when to start that. Jasmine is on follow on formula and she seems happy enough. I think I might ask our GP when I get her shots next month!

Argh more immunisations next month everyone! Imagine how thats going to be. I can picture Jasmine smacking the Doctor and kicking up a storm!

Boy I have to go to bed. Again I forgot to tell you all the things about Jasmine that I wanted to lol

    Take Care everyone!!

Woops I thought it was Tiff also! Sorry Tiggy! So it is Trish?

Dani I wouldnt worry about Jetts not crawling. Some babies never do crawl adn just go straight to walking! Does he stand on things, pull himself up, etc?

Your ticker photo of Abby is so cute Sara! Our babies are beautiful aren't they.
I am only on for a minute as now David is sick too! GRRRRRRRRRRRR! So I have 2 babies IYKWIM?
Thanks Kate - I think she will be okay with the antibiotics we will wait and see. LOL at you touching all the wood!
Dave's off to the doctor's soon too. How cold is it today in your neck of the woods? It is freezing here - not looking forward to going outside to hang this load of washing out. Must invest in a clothes dryer next year.

Kate I love the pics of Jasmine taking off her hairband! How adorable!

We do all have gorgeous babies! This is the most attractive thread ever!!

Abby is still sick. This whole diarreah thing is getting old. She had sooo many bad diapers today it is just unreal!!

Thanks Sarajo! I just put some new pictures up on Jasmines website if anyone is interested! Im just checking for some new movies to put on too. Its hard because I take high quality movies, but when I use the high quality, they get too big to upload onto her site, which is MB limited when it comes to movies!!

Im sorry that Abby is still sick. She hasnt had an easy time has she? Not fair. Is the diarreah linked to her new teeth at all? Everytime Jasmine has had it, a tooth has popped up. Or in our most recent bout, two teeth at once! I think you said its from the end of a virus, but maybe her new teeth are all involved and not helping it at all! I hope she gets better soon!

Renee its cold here too. I cant believe how cold actually. I dont even have any decent clothes warm enough for Jasmine that fit! She looks like a total dag today, nothing matches! Were staying home LOL It sucks because I wanted to go shopping today, maybe tomorrow. Its like a huge snap of winter! Clothes driers are the best! You must have one. I have not used a clothesline in 7-8 years!!!!! When the tree came down in my yard, it took out the clothesline, and Im not even bothering to get it replaced. I never used it, and now I dont have a silly pole taking up space in my yard LOL!

Im having a terrible time trying to find a mothers group. I so want to join one, just for Jasmine to socialise more. I dont socialise with any mothers other than you guys too so I think that would be good to get out and meet some. Gymbaroo doesnt give much of a chance cos were always doing activities, and swimming is the same.....BUT the problem is, Jasmine sleeps so late, and all the mothers groups start so early! Jasmine now goes to sleep at 9pm, and she wakes up around 10.30-11.30am depending on the weather! All the mothers groups are well and truly over by the time we get up! I dont want to wake her up either. Bugger!!! I must have spent a good hour looking for one last night!

Anyway Im going to go looking again, maybe I missed one

Ohhh before I go I have to tell you. Jasmine is doing this funny thing. She knows and understands that NO means dont do that. However she likes to get into our bedroom and play with the curtains. I always say "No Jasmine" anyway when she gets in there, she takes off, very excited.... goes so fast its hilarious. Then I run in after her, and she starts squealing and giggling and trying to run away from me! Then I will walk out, she will follow me, and then if I turn around, she runs off squealing and giggling again. Like Im chasing her and were playing! Its so funny.

    Have a great day all

    Hi girls

You are all so funny, you crack me up!
My name is Tiff! You can call me whatever you like though, I'm likely to answer. The most bizarre thing I have been called is Trinity, go figure! Anyway, thank you everyone for the lovely wishes about being a moderator.

Yes, Dani, we did have Ivy and Noah's party. It was a lovely day. Their birthday isn't until the 30th but because of high strung Sydney rellos, it was all brought forward. It worked out well actually, because on Tuesday I had to go into hospital to have a laparoscopy. Unfortunately, nothing was found, no cut and dried answer as to why I am bleeding so much. Now I am going to take medication for three months to see if that does anything to help before we go and do anything drastic. I don't want to have to go to a hysterectomy. I was hoping to coerce my OB into doing tube reversal, so that I can have another baby! Anyway, there are some piccies up on their site if you want to have a look.
How are you anyway? How is my little friend, Jett? Sorry to hear that you have lost all the photos off the laptop, hope that you can find them. Dani, Noah isn't crawling yet either. You haven't failed in ANY WAY! All babies develop differently. He may just be a great thinker (like my boy) and they do have to stay very still, you know.

Oh Kate! Jasmine sounds like a laugh and a half. No wonder you are so in love with her! That cheeky little grin would get me in everytime.
Hope you find a mother's group. I don't go to one either. We have baby group which is full of babies like Ivy and Noah who are a bit behind in their development but it is different from mother's group. No competition, just praise when the littlies meet a milestone. Have to agree with Renee, you would make a great mod!

Sarajo, how is Abby today? Sorry to hear that she has an awful bug. GRRR, I don't like gastro at all.

Yay Renee that you guys won your semi! you make me feel tired just thinking about all the running around you must do.
Had to laugh at Marnie getting up close and personal with other babies. Sorry to hear that she and Dave are unwell now. KWYM about having two babies in the house when DH is sick.

Melly, So sorry to hear that you are in a hard place at the moment. It must really suck feeling threatened all the time like that by your ex. No wonder you don't want to study! I wouldn't be able to concentrate either with that hanging over my head. Is it possible that he could even take Logan from you? You are such a good Mum, the family courts would just laugh in his face if he even tried! I want to come over there and give him what for!

Beck Am very sorry to hear that it was an ectopic for your friend. It is very unfair when bad things happen to good people. to you and for her too.

Meg Will things settle down for you re; the school run when you move? I hope so, you sound like one busy lady. Poor Coco cutting her tongue. We had an incident with Ivy a couple of weeks ago that resulted in alot of blood and five wailing women( the baby, mother and three upset sisters), one hysterical boy (the one who dropped her) a twin brother who couldn't see what all the fuss was about but joined in with the crying too and another foster boy running around because he couldn't bare all the crying! Dave walked in just at that moment from work!! It was terrible, blood and tears and snot everywhere. Hope she is well and truly on the mend, your precious Coco.

Hi Yael and Missy, hope you and your cherubs are well. missy, hope you got a break.

    Thank you ladies
I'm making sure I record everything, although now he's trying to act like everything is fine and I just can't forget about it. Luckily he's still in QLD and is only coming down for a couple of days for Logans birthday.

I think the exam went ok. Well, I'm not sure but I tried my hardest and I just would be happy with a pass at this point lol.

The people at daycare dressed all the kids up in christmas outfits today and took individual photos for a christmas card that the parents get. I'm so excited I can't wait to see how Logan looked. Apparently his one is really good since he smiles so much for the camera, my little poser!

Well I'm off to bed, sorry for short post

I am in tears today! Abby woke with diarreah everywhere and I ahve been cleaning all day. I had to clean all her bedding and stuffed animals she sleeps with so she didnt want to go down for a nap with new sheets and a different bear! I am on hte phone with the doc now. So upset. Her bum is raw red adn she screams when I try to put diaper rash cream on her. I am feeling sick to my stomach...dont know if it is because of dealing with all this or if I am catching her virus.

They called me back and told me that there isnt anything that can help her...we just have to let it run its course. They told me to not use wipes because they can irritate her skin worse so I have been washing her off in the sink at every diaper change. I am trying to give her the "brat" diet bananas, rice, applesause, and tea minus the tea. That is supposed to help the diarreah part of it. I really hope it works. The doc said it has been lasting 7-10 days for most of the kids that came in with it. Argh...thats another 3-5 days if this? I just am looking forward to the weekend so Don can be here...for support iif nothing else.

Meg I hope coco is ok and I hope she and Tilly feel better soon! I cant imagine having 2 sick kids at once! I have so much respect for Tiff now with what she has been through!!!!

BUMMER....I gave coco a tiny bit of toast dipped in egg yolk this morn and she reacted. She got an awful itchy hivey rash under her chin (all on neck). Not happy jan.We now have to avoid milk and eggs, not making it easy. I rang the hospital, they were useless, but after putting some cream on it (quarterzone) it slowly got better. Im relieved I did my 1st aid or prob would've panicked. And the poor thing is still sick with temp, not eating etc. Nightmare. I ended up sending tillyto school late, only to have my 9 year old sister in laws school ring and say SHE was sick and could I pick her up. So I've had holly and coco, tilly is due home soon.
So theres' my day. Hoping coco recovers quickly, I feel so helpless. Also we have the mothers group joint 1st bday on sunday. I have organised it, would hate to miss it.
Sarajo, hope abby is better soon, that's really awful. Im a bit worried because holly seems to have a nasty tummy bug (well beginnings of ) that is going around her school....could be next for tilly and coco. I hope though sarajo that you don't get it too.
love to everyone else, have a good day xxoxoox

Sarajo, hugs to you. Gastro is the worst of all viruses. I really feel for you.
I hope that you can keep Abby at home and that she gets better soon and that you don't catch it.

Meg, hope Coco gets well soon too.
