Happy Birthday Yael I think I would be feeling the same as you are now! Remembering your birthday (especially when you try to do something nice for him on his!) is part of the package when you share a relationship......Perhaps you need to talk to him about how much this did upset you. It's wonderful he helps you around the house etc - BUT THAT IS HIS RESPONSIBILITY AS WELL. Sorry for the capitals but it really annoys me when people say 'oh isn't he a good dad for looking after Marnie today' Well yeah - he's her father - she's his responsibility too. I don't want to keep going because I don't know enough about you to make judgements. I hope it helped to share your feelings here on Belly Belly.
ALso - I am a primary school teacher - and I am going back to teach Kinder for 3 days a week. I am currently in the process of programming (which can be a nightmare!) but really want to get organised before I start the school year. I think it will be good for Marnie to have time away from me too. She is so clingy at the moment and I think we both need a break from each other. Funny how a mother has to go to work to get a break isn't it.
Sarajo - I hope you are feeling better soon! You poor old chook!
Dani - I can't help calling Jett - Jett boy it justs seems to fit! I hope you are having a great day.
MEG??????????????????????????????????????? It feels funny not having your morning message everyday! Is your house so big you've lost the computer??LOL
Hi Beck - I hope you had a better night sleep last night - as did gorgeous Maddy.

THanks to all the girls who replied about the POO in THe Bath! Gross - she has been poo free for 3 days!

    Have a great day!

    Hello lovely ladies

    How is everyone today????

Tiff I dont know what to do as Ive tried playing a game when dressing Callum but it just dosnet work. OMG LOL@you with hiding post from DH. Im so the same....heheheh...lol

Dan Ive had to take the mobile away from the change table as he kept pulling and it was making it hard for me to dress him. I know how you feel about getting mad but its hard. As for the DH problem I know how you feel. Im the same. Things seem to run to plan when its just me and Callum. DH gets him so excited and usually around bed time but at least he will try and settle him if he doesnt go to sleep and not just leave it for me. THank God!!!!

Yael I know where your coming from. I go all out with bdays, anv, valtne day, xmas and I dont seem to get much in return. Ive told DH that the cards are the most important to me. Id rather a card anyday then pressies. Ive had to tell him to go get me a card after the avent so I can keep them. It Pees me off that I have to ask. I think Callum is pretty cute too. Thanks hun. His head looks saw, he has 3 bruises on it and Im scared of taking him out as you know how some ppl thinks!!!:frown: Lunch is a hassel as im running out of things to give him. He does love pasta so he has been having mac and cheese the last few days. Im going to try a s/w today and see how we go.

Sarajo Yes I cant believe Callum yells back at me. I yell and he yells and then I crack up LOL and then he thinks its all a big joke and starts playing up again. so I yell he yells I LOL he plays up and then I yell and it will make him cry. The poor little thing. I confuse him so much but im getting better and not LOL @ him. I just turn and smile to myself and then turn back. Ive had to take his mobile down as hit was making things worse. He also broke the one in his cot. . Bath times are the worse as it takes longer dressing him as I put creams and powder on him so I dred bath times and try and get DH to do it if I can. Now im going to be a derrrrrrrrrrr but I thought Tex was hot hot hot. Like in the movies....lol... soz for being dumb dumb..

Ray ray Didnt it snow in melb on xmas day. I thought I heard it on the news. Syd has been getting really hot days too but we have air and a pool so its pretty cool for us. I wont go out if I dont have to if its going to be very very hot.

Renee I totally agree with you. Relationships go both ways and your right their the babies father so its their job to look after them too. I always tell DH when he gets home to go spend some time with your son and ill do what ever he was going to do. Ive told him that he needs to spend as much time with Callum as possable. Ive also told him that ( dont know if I should say this ) but here goes, We had a big fight and I told him that he could leave if he wanted as I feel that im a single mother as I always seem to do it all and that he wasnt spending enough time with his son. Things run smoothly with just MEL, Callum and me but I told him that if he planed on staying he needs to spend time. Its his job too!!! Good Luck in going back to work!!!

Well all im off to do some work. House work that is....lol...I hate it. I hope you all have a lovely day and Ren I havent had Callum pooing in the bath yet. Melissa did when she was a baby and I was in there with her...lol... I got out real quick...lol

    All have a wonderful day

    xx

Missy lol youre not a derrrrr as Texas is usually hot. In the summers it is very very stinkin hot...too hot to go outside for more than about an hour at a time. It is hot in the fall too for the most part. This year we have had 2 cold times...one for Abby's birthday party and now this. People are freaking out here! They are going out and buying winter coats and stuff just for the storm, which will bring about cold for about a week or so, but really people! Just put on another sweater! Im from Ohio where we would get snow every winter, so this is weird for me to see people acting so funny over a little ice! I am excited though, and I hope it does snow so I can show Abby-girl! We'll see. I have neighbors that say they think it is just going to rain a little and people are overreacting!

OH Beck! your signature is a little misleading...you got me all excited that you were trying now! lol! I was a little dissapointed that we wouldnt have the same probability that we would be belly buddies again though! lol!

Renee how fun starting back teaching. What are you going to do with Marnie? Daycare?

Dani I love the name Jett-boy! Isnt that funny? I call Abby Abby-girl quite a bit too! lol!

OK now I am going to be Derrrrrrrr! So is it now that the kids get the big summer break for Australia? And they go to school all through May June July? How does it work there? Here kids start to school in August, have a week or so off for Christmas, have spring break in March (1 week) and then they are done end of May.

Rayray wow Canada is a bit far! Where is Tassie?

Sarajo, Tassie is Tasmania, another state in Australia but its farther to the South than where I am, and usually colder.
DH has a friend in Canada, and keeps telling me we should go there. While I could put in for a transfer with my work, I'm not sure I'd really do it ATM.

Thats better Beck! Its still so exciting to see TTC in your signature! Makes me want to put it in mine too!

Missy wow school is so much different here! Crazy!

Meg glad to see you back online for the moment! Cant wait till you are back online for good!!!

Rayray Cananda is nice and cold! I have been there a handfull of times! We moved to Texas from Ohio 2 years ago. Ohio is a 4-5 hour drive or so to canada. My family still lives in Ohio..it is about a 24 hour drive from Ohio to Texas. It is so hard...especially since Eddie and Abby so close in age and they live so far away! My parents ended up moving half way between Texas and Ohio (Georgia).

Well, I better go...I need to see Haley to the bus stop! Brrrr!

(Oh and we didnt get the ice they were predicting...it may come tonight, but so far nothing but cold!)

Missy - I'm not sure if it snowed in Mlebourne at Christmas. It sure didn't snow at my house though

Sarajo - DH was pretty interested in your move from Ohio to Texas, he is a bit of a Geography nerd, ha ha. You know how some people have magazines etc in their toilet/bathroom? At the moment we have the Large Print USA 2006 Road Atlas, and the London A-Z.

Milo does well with getting dressed most times, its jus the nappy changes that are a struggle. He's been v. unsettle of late as well, last night I was up 3 or 4 times with him, which never happens.

I hope Maddy gets better soon.

    Beck,
I love the name Aislinn. I would have used it for Lily or Ivy if DH had have liked it. It is such a gorgeous name with and equally gorgeous meaning... hope you have another girl, just so I can gush over a baby with that name

Thanks! My husband isn't a huge fan but seeing as though he can't come up with an acceptable girls name at the moment I'm sticking with it! *LOL* I think he has the biggest trouble with the fact the pronouciation is different to the spelling. He thinks she'd get 'Ays-linn' instead of 'Ash-linn'. Do you know what the meaning is? I honestly have no idea, I just know it's Gaelic and there is a fab Irish dancer from New Zealand with that name.

Oh and forgot to mention how proud I am of DH. He just sat his second exam for Microsoft cetified programmer qualifications and again passed with only 1 question wrong.

Yay for your DH Beck. My DH did the microsoft exams and did very well too. He is struggling though with the conversion exams. Might be a combo of too many kids and not enough time and procrastination on his behalf! LOL

Yep, the meaning for Aislinn is 'vision' or 'dream'. In another name book the description was something like dream recognised. Think it's a beautiful name.

Awww, thanks Tiff. That just makes me want to have a little 'Aislinn' all the more!

Hmm...don't know much about the progress of the Microsoft exams. I know there is MCP (Microsoft Certified Partner/Programmer) and then there is the one he is doing now which is step up and involves 2 exams I think. Will have to ask him about the conversion exams though. Don't envy your DH trying to study whilst working and with the gorgeous gaggle of children you have! *L*

*LOL* Renee. Maddy was all quiet and was supposed to be playing with her dollhouse in her room. I found her ten minutes later sitting on the floor of our bedroom laughing as she 'dressed' herself. She'd grabbed my black dance stockings and draped them around her neck like a scarf and then got the fluro green boy leg swimmers and pulled them onto her head. I managed to stop laughing long enough to take some photos.
