Jayne, WTG on Claudia nearly forgetting boobie!

Tash, Monkey is sick too - snotty, cough, and 1 slightly inflamed ear, GP wants to see us again Mon hoping to avoid a/b's. Maybe they both got the same thing at Lollipops?? (Monkey's kinda started Sunday with snotty nose then the throat and ear have come since Wed...) Hope Tobi is better real soon.

Kristy, hope Erin's B'day was fantastic - my mum was going to get Monkey table and chairs for Christmas, but we don't really have the space - not sure what I'm gonna do this year when she actually starts to want that sort of thing!!

Ryn, hope you get those migraines sorted girl! Sounds wonderful that Liebs is starting to become more independent - Monkey is too to some degree.

Not sure if I've mentioned before but when I was pg I had quite bad pubic symphasis separation/dysfunction and its back, dammit! Luckily, the women's health physios at work have agreed to see me and had my first app't today - looks like its gonna be slow recovery and I'm quite sore tonight....

But in better news, I dropped Monkey at the out-laws yest and went bra shopping!!! Sorry to say though that I needed to buy boring bras that could be worn under white work shirts, so the sexy stuff will have to wait....

Gotta run, would love to stay to chat.... Oh, other big news - we are selling our house! The rate rises are killing us and we have no quality of life left... As it is our 3 yr plan to leave Sydney anyway, we figure we can rent, save money and be happier.... hopefully.... but a stressful time ahead sorting it all out!

KYM _ WOW with selling your house! That's massive news. I have been scaring Alan & sending him links to 3 storey mansions & saying I'm going to view them! LOL. That sounds great & you sound really happy about the move, so that's even better! How is that Cheeky Monkey?

Kym - There is heaps of rentals near me at the moment. Not that you live too far away now. I hope you find something that isn't too far away from your child care and work. Has the real estate suggested that you do anything to the house before you move? How is Monkey today? If she is still sick will you go to work this week? How did your appointment go? Are you feeling any better? Do they know why it has come back?

Jayne - I think you might be right about Tobi being still a little too young for a pet. I am still going to think about it and do my research, but am not going to rush into it like I was initially. Trouble is with DH going away so much, Tobi and I tend to pack up and go away too, and it is too much to ask the neighbours to look after them for extended periods...Glad to hear that you are having some success with Claudia on cows milk. It took me about 6weeks to get Tobi weaned. Once your boobies stop producing as much milk, they soon learn that they get more from a bottle than from you. But that doesn't take attachment into consideration. Hope Claudia is still sleeping soundly.

Ryn - How is your head sweets? Are you on medication for it? I used to get really nasty migraines when I worked and really improved when I stopped work. I think they were stress related. Chocolate and Cheese burgers always make me feel better when I have a migraine.

Sally - I like the idea of a bank account for the bubs too. My in laws always give Tobi money instead of pressies, so we put that away and we donate $1 a day to his account too.

US - Looks like I am going to be a carer for a belly belly friend who is thinking about going back to work. Our boys play together so well and we already do a little bit of swapping, but I may look after him a few days a week if she finds a job. It'll only be for six months, as we will probably be moving at the end of the year again and they are trying for number two. I am looking forward to it, should be good for Tobi too and a little extra cash doesn't hurt either.

Tobi is still sick and has now spread his sickness around. What is with men and being sick. Tobi is handling it so much better than DH. And now I have it too.

My little nephew isn't going too well. His Mum isn't producing milk and they left it too long before they started giving him supplements, so now he is getting feed through a tube and doesn't look like they will be out of hospital for a few more days.

Now that all our bubs have hit 12months, can we do another comparison. My DH keeps asking how he is going in his development and I have no idea.
Height- 73cm (I think)
Weight - 9.7kg
Walking - Only around furniture, he is a long way off (which I am happy about)
Words - Mum, Dad, Duck, Hello, Yeah and lots of grunting
Teeth - Two bottom ones
(Can you think of anything else?) Tobi has gone down a few percentile lines for height and weight. Should I be worried? Also I have noticed he ****s his right leg up the air a bit, when he is sitting and lying down, do you think that could mean something?

walking: only a few steps around furniture... he would still rather get down and crawl along to the next destination.

Brendan is finally over his cold... it's been a horrible week continuously getting up during the night, thank fully he slept through till 6 am... which is still not normal, but better

Tash:
I will answer your questions in order, but should probably just pick up the phone!!! We are going to look for rentals kinda near here, maybe a bit east, like Putney/Meadowbank. We both need to be near Victoria Rd as it is both of our best links to work and you're right, we don't want to change day care now, so has to be close to there too....

Will be getting r. estate people in soon, but we already know we need to do gutters and fix rotting back deck! Not sure where we will get money??? But it will be great not to have the upkeep of a place for a while too... And yes, Jayne, I am excited about moving - I see it as one step closer to getting out of Sydney forever!!! (that is our 3-5 yr plan, but I'm always skeptical, as DH is Sydney born and bred - it'll be hard to actually get him away)

We are all still sick - this is a nasty virus. DH has taken Monkey to Dr now, as he needs to go now too. I am probably the best of the 3 of us. Hope you, Tobi and DH are on the mend soon too.

And with my pelvis, was still sore Sat, but somewhat better by today. Physio said it has come back, as I have a chronic mal-alignment problem which I should have got fixed when I was pg! Typical physio's though self-diagnosing, I just took the shortcut when pg and borrowed a friends belt and did some exercises instead of seeing someone who actually specialises in this!!!

And wow, Tash, about maybe looking after Tobi's mate on a more formal/regular basis - that'll be both fun and very tiring I'm sure!!

I keep forgetting that you might be moving.... I will be very sad when you do I used to have lots of school friends at primary school who were army kids and used to lose friends all the time....

Teeth - STILL NONE!

Words - mama, dada, bubba, tada (teddy), tata (Tilly the dog), uh-oh (whenever something hits the ground, whether an accident or on purpose!), up (to be picked up) and "ta". I think the other day she may have tried to say wawa when she wanted her water, but its a bit inconsistent.

Walking - standing on own and will take 1-2 steps to fall into me. but mainly cruising round walls, furniture etc... She still crawls preferentially if theres a long distance or if she's in a hurry, eg to escape me!

Glad Brendan is better, hope the rest of us follow soon...

Hi everyone

Urgh... we have been virus central here over the last few weeks... crazy stuff.
No time right now for personals, but I will pop in later and read up more and do some personals.

Harrison is going well... his tooth he was getting decided to go back down... so Monkey isn't the only tooth-less bubba here... he has 2 teeth at the bottom that are so close to breaking through, yet they don't!
Ever since he turned 1, he has developed an attitude. If you look at him for too long, he will grunt... if you call him whilst he is doing something he likes, he will grunt... he has thrown tantys too which is so strange as he has always been so well behaved and quiet... oh well, he is still gorgeous as anything!

Hi Lovely ladies,

Thank you for all Erin's birthday wishes, she had a lovely day , but god I was pooped at the end of it.

Looking forwrad to getting out of this 1st trimester and into the feeling great but not fat yet stage of the 2nd trimester.

I'm so sorry not to do personals but hubby is on night shift, Erin asleep so this little brown duck is off to nye nye's.

Hopefully get in tomorrow to catch up properly,
