Jen - I have NO IDEA where the time has gone. Luke is 12 weeks tomorrow !! (He has also managed to get a lovely bald patch at the back !!)

Danda - so sorry to hear about your ruined weekend away. I'm not too sure but think that some people are more prone to mastitis because people I know who have had it generally have it more than once (however not as frequent as you you poor thing !) Hopefully you DH is being great and spoiling you !

Speaking of spoiling us ........ I wonder if my DH realises that Mother's Day is around the corner !

I've been trying to keep up Lakshman's tummy time, he just doesnt want to try.. he lies there and doesnt want to try to lift his head. instead he kicks his legs like he's trying to crawl. he happily lifts his head when he's on my belly. i'll go ask the nurse at the ECC next week

I only wrap him at night at bedtime. during the day he happily sleeps in his little bouncer, unwrapped.

danda so sorry your weekend didnt work out as you hoped. so sorry about mastitis. that sux.
i get lumps on my right breast cos im not feeding there at the moment, just once a day. i express whenever they come but it doesnt get rid of it completely unless he feeds off it. but it's very painful now, lots of needle/shooting pains...

we had our first mothers group today, it was great fun, we just chatted and chatted and chatted. heheh exercising my mouth more. well what do you expect when you get a group of women together who are stuck at home most of the time and have little adult casual conversation. there were 4 boys and 3 girls between 7 weeks to 4 mths. we also had a video on sleep and settling, we hardly watched it cos we jsut didnt stop talking!
one of the mums' lives up the road from me, and we going for a walk on friday morning. that will be nice!

Thanks everyone for the lovely ACA comments xoxo

gotta run and do his bath.. long day tomorrow.

    Hey everyone!!!

Ash....love the new pic of Alexander!!! Love those fat little wrists!!! Gorgeous!!

Prama....Noah sounds like he has the same tum time as Lakshman, Noah looks like he might get up and crawl if his head wasnt so heavy!!!

Danda...I hope the mastitis clears up soon hun!!! Take care!

Jacki...I cannot believe that your little man is 3 months old already!! Wow, I can remember when we were talking about big bellies and coping in the heat!!!

Jen...what animals do you have? So sorry of you have mentioned them previously? Thats so awesome that Amber is noticing them already!!!

Kat...So sorry hun to hear about your DH dramas.. I hope that you can make the right decision for both you and your gorgeous children....dont think of him...think of you guys...you deserve the best !!! We are hear if you need to chat!!!

Oooohhh I know that I have missed replies....I apologise!!!!!

I hope that you are all happpy and healthy!!! I do pop on and read up in how you are all going!!!

Here everything is going well! Noah is now fully FORMULA FED....there..I said it..lol... I wasnt filling him up enough...I would feed him for about 15 min and he would come off all frantic ...so we would make him up a bottle and he would have an extra 80-120mls....so yep I was guessing that its game over for us!!! But thats okay..I made it to 9.5 wks with him and 9 with DD and she turned out beautifully so I cant complain!!

    Big hugs to you all!!

    Hi Minky
Those boiling hot WA days without air conditioner (thanks DH) seem so long ago now. Now I am whinging that it is too cold !!

Question on breastfeeding - how long does your little one feed for? Lately sometimes DS is hardly on there at all (5 minutes) then starts to nod off and get sleepy and I think that he has hardly fed but he doesn't complain and want to feed again soon. What do you think? Is he just a fast drinker?

Minky- we have 2 cats and a dog. The animals have been paying more attention to Amber too. They are all going up for a sniff.
Jackie- Amber feeds really quickly too. I still feed on both sides. I reckon 5 minutes a side is what she goes at. I always try and reattch her but she keeps pulling off so I switch sides and she drinks again. They do apparently get better with feeding as they get older so maybe Luke is like that.

I put Amber in front of the bedroom mirror yesterday and she just laughed and laughed at herself. It was so cute.

Jacki, I agree with Jen, I have read that by now bubs feeds may get shorter as they are getting better at sucking and drain the breast faster! If he is happy enough, I probably wouldnt worry....Noah after a feed would pull off and hit my chest with his fist and cry and we would both get hysterical..lol..hence another reason we swapped to formula!

Jen, thats so cute that Amber was laughing at herself yesterday! I bet it sounded gorgeous!!!

    Hi Everyone,
DD is asleep so time for a quick post.
Minky my DD is ff as well I had trouble with my 2 boys so didn't think I would last too long. She is going great guns though sleeping well day and night so I am sure we did the right thing.
Danda - yes hope the Mastitis clears up it is awful poor thing.

Has anyone tried orange TimTams OMG they are just the best. I know my wobbly belly doesn't need them but they are just sensational, I have had to ration myself to make them last longer.
Hope everyone has a good night and the bubs sleep lots!!
    Sue
