Hello girls, I will have to be typing at lightening fast speeds to get through this.

Sue, It sounds like bub's is doing very well with eating. Jakes is more into his bottle than the food he is given.

Danda, I live in Bendigo, I wonder if I know any of your family. Maybe you should lend me that swimming nappy. Jake is 11 kg, his a very big baby. You would think his fat, but his not. He fits a size 1 in length and weight. Hubby is over 6 ft, so I guess I should of expected it.

Minkey, My friend cut off her bubs hair, because people though he was a girl all the time. I cut jakes hair off at the back only, because it had that rub patch at the back shorter.

Bun, you will love this summer in warnambool. They have many cool event's on. I think they have a bike race finish there, and they have a big carnival for it.

Esme, Jake didnt like vegies either. I have found that Jake would more likely eat vegies if I was to let him eat them himself, but you have to have ones that they cant bite big bit's off.

Jakes 4 teeth are all through, and he slept all through the night last night. His has just started crawling too. Ahhh, there goes all my gear. Tara learned to crawl at the same time, so boys are not always slower. Lets hope Jake doesnt teeth on my tv cabnet like Tara did.lol.

Bun - haven't the last couple of hot Perth days made you want to stay for the summer !!!!!!! Not !! Remember poor me last year when we were all very pregnant and my husband broke the air conditioner on boxing day when it was 44 degrees !! I might move to Warnambool as well.

Jen / Esther - so gorgeous that you bubs are saying words already. DS has justed started babbling again. He used to chat but stopped for a couple of months. So i think any words are a long way off yet.

Sue - that is so crap that DD is making at night for not eating through the day. DS is a nightmare to feed a lot of the time. Way too distracted to eat, would rather look at the ceiling fan spin around for hours ! Solids can be difficult but breastfeeding is sometimes impossible.

Danda - I have to put pillows around DS as well as he is prone to very regular face plants. Yeah on the great night sleeps you are getting - don't you just love them sleeping though! How did bubs like swimming - DS absolutely loves it. Doesn't really do any of the things he is supposed to. Just loves to splash and look at the stuffed toys dangling from the roof.

Minky - 4 teeth all at once - poor Noah - poor you !

Hi Sue - I haven't started giving DS sandwiches yet - how do you go about it. Cut into small bits or fingers or what ?? What do you put on them??

Karlie - bl00dy hell - 11kgs !!!!! I thought Luke was big at 10kgs. We sure made some big boys.

Ash - I have seen some of your other posts in different threads - hope you are OK

Prama - where are you !?!

Not too much to report here except - LUKE ROLLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally !!!

    Night all

    Morning ladies,

Amber woke every hour last night. Poor girl has a cold and is teething too. Its not much fun!

Jacki- Yay on Luke rolling. He will be on his knees before you know it. I give Amber sandwiches. I cut the crusts off and give little fingers. I put vegemite, promite or Avocado in hers. She seems to like them.

Bun- Its been quite cold here in Vic the past couple of days. When are you moving? Are you going to buy a house or will DH's job be temporary?

Karlie- 4 teeth? I guess thats good in a way because you have them out the way at once. Amber only has 1 tooth at the moment but she has another one on the way. I didnt put my second PP order in on time so the prices have gone up and they wiped my shopping list so I cant remember what was on it.

Minky- I can't cut Amber's hair yet.... She has none to cut!

Danda- You have done some travelling! your DD has been more places than me! My parents live in Bendigo too. A great place I reckon.

Esme- We are still doing ok with the BF and the tooth. She really hasnt tried to bite me yet!

Ash- I believe you have a new piercing?

Prama- How is poopy and steve?

I am sorry I am sure to have missed someone.

Amber is on the floor on her tummy. She has gotten going backwards down pat. She is getting onto all 4's for tiny amounts of time so I guess the crawling starts soon. Have to baby proof the house.
We had a MCHN visit yesterday. She is just over 9kg and is 71cm long. Fits into 0 although some brands length is a little short.

    Hi Guys,

JenJams -- Our Bubbas could be twins. We are 9.1kgs and 70.5cm long. We still fit into 0s but I am starting to put 1s on her. She is great on her tummy loves being on the tiles as she can slide everywhere and get to the boys toys!!! Hope she has a better sleep for you tonight.

Jacki -- I have just given her vegemite sandwiches with the crusts cut off and cut into long pieces or soldiers (hehe). I guess they can really try anything now. My MCHN said to introduce meat and chicken and really encourage finger foods but we are already doing that.
HOORAY ON LUKE ROLLING Watch out now he will like moving.

Karlie -- he he bubs getting into everything I won't be far off and then I will be just like you. aaaarrrrgggghhhh!

Time to get the gates out again.

Hi cookie hope you are OK

    Prama -- where are you????

    Hi All,

2 Please...DH's family is from there. Their surname is Stock (and cousins with surnames Bennallack and Hiatt)...can't remember the suburbs they live in though.

Zoe is loving swimming. We went again today and she was kicking away happily!

Ash - what sort of MCN's are your favorite? i am thinking of buying more and have a couple of issues with both of the sorts i have.

    hope everyone is doing well!

MInky - are Noah's teeth through yet? Cutting 4 teeth at once, gees, he doesn't do things by halves!

danda - how did you go with the nappy at swimming? I started swimming with DD when she was 9 weeks old and was using those nappies for 7kg and up - they used to come up to her armpits, it was so cute! Finally she fits into them properly - I think she is a bit over 8kg now. How did the gym go? I need to get fit too and have started to exercise again.

jacki - those hot days last week made me very happy about my decision to move somewhere cooler!! I hate summer and those days just reminded me how much I hate it! At least this summer won't be as uncomfortable as we all were last summer - I am definitely going to try not to be heavily pg in summer ever again! And yes, i remember your broken air con last summer- I felt so sorry for you, I felt like I was dying in the heat WITH air con!! And woohoo on Luke rolling - yay!

ash - how are you? I saw that you got another piercing. How much does it hurt? I want to get my nose pierced but I am a huge wuss (and yes I know that is really silly since I have given birth!!).

jen - sorry to hear about Amber waking so much, I hope she lets you get some sleep soon! Yep, we will be buying a house in Vic and renting out our house here. We will probably stay there for at least 2-3 years if all goes well. I'm not sure when we are going yet, it looks like DH will have to go before Chrissie, but I think DD and I will stay til after Christmas so we can have her first Chrissie with family.

We are going well, still have no teeth but I am sure she is teething so hopefully some will come through soon. Her sleep has been pretty bad lately, I think cos of the teeth. She is sooo close to crawling now - she gets on all fours and rocks and will move a leg forward but then collapses! She seems better at going backwards at the moment!

Must go, the little one has woken! Hi to everyone I have missed,

    Bun xx

Hi Prama ! I hope your having a great time away!! What a lovely suprise for your mum!!!

Hi Sue! I havent tried vegemite sandwiches with Noah yet, might give it ago tomorrow, he loves his bread, so hopefully he'll try it!

Hi Jen ! I hope that Amber has been a bit better with her sleep? Noah has a cold too, it wakes him up as well!

Hi Jacki! Woohoooo!!!! You have a rolling baby!! He'll be off in no time now!!

Hi 2please! How is your lil crawler going? Making a mess?? lol

Ahhh, I will have only a quick.

Jacki, Dont worry about DS crawling. I wish my DS would take a little longer to learn, so my stuff could be safe for a while.

Jen and miss eyelashes, I just love your photo's. Did you get the fisher price push along ark from Kmart? $41 down to $15. Just give it a scan and it should come up at $15.

Sue, How's the boys going with Sophie? Tara can be nasty to Jake at time's. Pulling stuff out of his hands just to upset him. She only wants to play with what Jake has.

Prama, Did I tell you I was pregnant with Tara in Malaysia. I did a test over there to find out.

Danda, Im in Strathdale. We are going to get a heep of new shops opening here in the market place shopping centre.

MInky, Jakes got 5 teeth. Its pritty full on when they are cutting through. It seems your kids are the same age and sex as mine, and are going through the same too. Yes, its so much easier for the second with the health nurse.

Bun, It sounds like bubs will be crawling soon. Jakes crawling on his knees already, but pritty slowly.

Oh no. Jakes finding Tara's gear on the floor.Textas, colouring books and dirty shoes, all goes in the mouth. Ewww.

I better go, Jake needs some dinner.

Fisher Price Roll Along Muscial Ark is on sale at kmart for $15 down from $41. There isnt any signs up or anything, but just scan it to make sure. Its a great christmas gift. I have one for Jake.

A woman from EB scaned it and thought it was a mistake, but we have found that price at all Kmarts.

    hi girls!

karlie - thanks for that !!!
hehe was Tara conceived in Malaysia or it was just finding out there?
But what a wonderful surprise, when you are on holidays!!!

swimming - poopy's going for swim lessons and loves it too. we got him Zoog nappies, it's a swim nappy but it's reusable and you can adjust the snaps till they are 2 yrs old. so far no poo yet :P

No teeth here or sleep thru the night.. tho sometimes when he's havign a bf feels really sharp like needles and other times it's fine.. it's SO going to hurt bf-ing!

we are doing well. looks like poopy's doing things so much quicker when he has so many ppl around him.
in one week, he's gone from kneeling, to lifting himself up and standing now. he's also waving bye-bye.

it's getting a bit scary that he's pulling himself on the furniture and his cot. my parents have old style rattan furniture and it's light and low. easy for him to pull himself up but cos it's light it moves at the same time and they have tiled floor... plus the lounge/dining area is huge so he's everywhere, and the other day he was trying to get to the stairs. cant leave him alone for a sec now. and im scared he
s going to fall over his cot, he pulled himself up when he was half awake. it's sort of a cot/portacot so we have to make it really low now.
poopy still commando-ing, doesnt seem to be interested in going on all fours, tho he just gets onto all fours and just rocks himself. he's a lazy bugger i think, he commandos and moves 1 leg and drags the other.
He's going too fast for me, im SO not ready for him to walk for a few more months yet.

I'm having a good time being back and seeing everyone and poopy having so many ppl around him, he's lapping up all the attention. he had a good time playing w my cousin's grandsons too.

but, the same ppl telling me what i should be doing etc.. at least this time im letting it get to me as much.

love to all... xoxoxo. better to check on the sleeping cheeky monkey. he's really wearing me out now.
    im so exhausted.

    Hi all!

Just time for a quick update. As of the last week Jasper has started to crawl, first he did a half commando crawl; arms only and rocked on all fours, but since yesterday he has started to go forward on all fours! Very slow, he gets his knees under and then waves one arm at a time way up and out to the side before he sets it down two centimeters away from where it was before LOL! But he is certainly getting about a lot quicker than usual; i can't go and hang the washing anymore when he is on the floor; might have to start using the playpen.

He is still not eating his vegies, but likes banana and loves cheese. Hopefully if we try to mix some cheese through his vegies he might like them a bit better. Does anyone have any tips on how to persuade him to eat his vegies?

Prama - Enjoy the time with your family! I am secretly a little bit jealous . Lakshman is going so well; pulling up and standing already!! I find it scary already if Jasper falls back on the carpet from sitting, so standing up on the tiles would really freak me out. I love you new pic of him, did his hair get lighter or is it the light?

Minky - gotta love the squealing! Jasper has started to shout but hasn't found the high pitch yet, so I think we are in for the squealing soon....

Bun - No teeth here either. I think the lack of sleep for us is due to him wanting to crawl so much and not being able to. I hope he crawls soon (he is getting there) so it will tire him out and he will start to sleep better.

    Hi to everyone else!

Prama, We found out about Tara over there. I had morning sickness the whole visit. I went up a big mountain on the cable car. What a bloody stupid idea.lol Jake is crawing like a pro at the moment. His into the curtains sucking on them, and picking up dead flies. Ewww. His just flat stack stuffing everything into his gob.

Esme, Jakes so greedy, I just let him wait a bit longer for tea. I find his not so picky with his food then. He still puts his fist down to things he doesnt like.

9 months is on days away now. Jakes got 6 teeth, and gee they are sharp.

The fisher price ark is been marked down even further now to about $10. I was told they need the room for all the new christmas stock.

    Enjoy your weekend.

    Hi all,

I can't beleive its the weekend again. The weeks are flying.

Karlie -- its amazing what they find isn't it. I thought my floor was clean but Sophie manages to find any crumbs / bugs in the house.
The boys are pretty good with Sophie, some days they are all over her then others they stay clear. Nicholas my 3 year old does the I want what she is playing with and chucks a huge tantrum if he can't get it. Benjamin has been trying to push the pram while we are out, very cute but so frustrating when in a hurry.
Sophie is rolling everywhere and will push and slide backwards and in circles on the tiles and is starting to get up on all fours. I am about to get the gates back out so she can't get in the Kitchen and I have a safe place he he.

Esme-- way to go Jasper!! Its hard when they move you get so used to them being in a certain spot and then they are off. I take a big blanket outside with me and Sophie sits watching the boys on the trampoline while I hang out the washing.

Prama -- eek. Pulling himself up. I agree not ready. Great to hear you are having a lovely time with your family.

Minky-- Hi. Sophie loves her vegemite sandwiches and she also loves cheddarmite scrolls makes a lovely mess. She isn't that interested in vegies will gobble her yoghurt and fruit and she makes the best face when I try and give her my meat casserole. eeewwwww yuk. Gotta love the squealing its very cute.

Bun -- Hi. Has Catherine started crawling????? I love it when they rock its like they are revving up for a race. Hope her teeth pop out soon and she sleeps better for you.

Danda-- great to hear Zoe is loving swimming. I took the boys swimming lots when they were bubs but I've been a bit slack with DD ( well busy ). I plan on taking DD next year when Benjamin's at school and Nicholas is at KInder.
Do you pop her head under the water ????

Ash -- Hi. How are you doing?????

    Hi Jen and Jacki.

Better go going out for a girls lunch today and then we have to go to Kinder and mow lawns and pull out weeds. They boys will love it they will complain when we leave as they won't want to leave the playground!!!!
    Have a good weekend

    Good morning ladies

Sue- Amber and Sophie are at the same point in their movement I think. We are also getting onto all 4's and going backwards and around in circles. I find if I have her on the bed she tries to push off forwards. Its good the boys are good with her.

Karlie- Hmmmm I need to buy an 11 year old girl who is quite rotund an Xmas pressie. What PP size you reckon she will be? Go Jakey the crawling machine! Amber gets quite frustrated she cant go forwards yet but I think I am happy to wait.

Esme- Awesome job Jasper on the crawling. he must be into everything. The BF and teeth still doesnt bother me but she has bitten a couple of times.... and that hurts. Amber loves her vegies. Will he eat them finger food style?

Prama- OMG on Poopy pulling himself up. Do you get sad that they are not our little babies anymore? I certainly do. Glad to hear you are having a great time with the family. When are you coming home?

Minky- How did the 8 month checkup go? I bet he is doing nicely.

Bun- Any teeth? Any action on the crawling?

Hi Jacki, Ash and everyone I forgotten.

Amber cut her second tooth on the weekend. Finally! Her sleeping has gotten a little better and she is still rocking on all 4's. We think crawling isnt too far away.
Well she is crying for attention so I better go.

    Hi all!

Prama - Wish you a safe and good flight back home! Yes, can't leave him alone anymore. In the last couple of days he has gotten a lot faster. He does a combination of commando and 'normal' crawling; whatever he thinks will be the fastest way to get to whatever he wants (usually the things he's not supposed to touch, LOL)! Starting to say 'no' and take him away, but it doesn't seem to have too much of an effect at the moment... He loves his cheese, so I will try the cheese over vegies option as well as the vegies through his rice cereal. His appetite has improved a lot in the last couple of days; all that crawling makes him hungry, this might help too.

Jen - he doesn't like his vegies fingerfood style; just chucks them over the side of the highchair! It sounds like Amber will be crawling soon too; Jasper did the rocking for a bit too. And yay for the second tooth and the better sleep; hopefully you will get a little break before the next tooth! Jasper is finally teething too; he has the worst smelling green runny poos and is a little whingy, but on the other hand he seems to sleep better than he has slept in a long time! I had a feel around in his mouth and it seems to be a molar..... I can feel it sticking out to the side of his gum, it isn't through yet, but it seems to bother him a bit. He keeps jamming teething toys way back in his mouth, so that must be the culprit. He doesn't have any teeth yet, so I am wondering whether this one will break through or if it is just moving.

Sue - If I put Jasper on a blanket outside he will fill himself up with grass and leaves!! Good to have the boys entertain Sophie! It is amazing what they find on the floor, isn't it? We live in the country and there are lots of flies around in summer, will have to be a bit more dilligent in removing them straight away...

2please - What is it with curtains? Jasper is constantly playing with them too... You are right; if I wait a bit longer before feeding him, he will try two spoonfulls instead of one, but then he clamps his mouth shut and refuses everything....

We went to a free Kindermusik class yesterday. Jasper had a ball; enjoyed looking at the other kids and for the first time being able to crawl around and explore another place. But I think I will save my money for swimming lessons. The pool is open, so we should get out before it gets too hot! I might get the DVD 'Teach your baby to swim' by Laurie Lawrence. Does anyone know anything about this DVD?

Happy 9 months Jasper!!! Where does the time go?????????
