    Hi all!

Prama - Wish you a safe and good flight back home! Yes, can't leave him alone anymore. In the last couple of days he has gotten a lot faster. He does a combination of commando and 'normal' crawling; whatever he thinks will be the fastest way to get to whatever he wants (usually the things he's not supposed to touch, LOL)! Starting to say 'no' and take him away, but it doesn't seem to have too much of an effect at the moment... He loves his cheese, so I will try the cheese over vegies option as well as the vegies through his rice cereal. His appetite has improved a lot in the last couple of days; all that crawling makes him hungry, this might help too.

Jen - he doesn't like his vegies fingerfood style; just chucks them over the side of the highchair! It sounds like Amber will be crawling soon too; Jasper did the rocking for a bit too. And yay for the second tooth and the better sleep; hopefully you will get a little break before the next tooth! Jasper is finally teething too; he has the worst smelling green runny poos and is a little whingy, but on the other hand he seems to sleep better than he has slept in a long time! I had a feel around in his mouth and it seems to be a molar..... I can feel it sticking out to the side of his gum, it isn't through yet, but it seems to bother him a bit. He keeps jamming teething toys way back in his mouth, so that must be the culprit. He doesn't have any teeth yet, so I am wondering whether this one will break through or if it is just moving.

Sue - If I put Jasper on a blanket outside he will fill himself up with grass and leaves!! Good to have the boys entertain Sophie! It is amazing what they find on the floor, isn't it? We live in the country and there are lots of flies around in summer, will have to be a bit more dilligent in removing them straight away...

2please - What is it with curtains? Jasper is constantly playing with them too... You are right; if I wait a bit longer before feeding him, he will try two spoonfulls instead of one, but then he clamps his mouth shut and refuses everything....

We went to a free Kindermusik class yesterday. Jasper had a ball; enjoyed looking at the other kids and for the first time being able to crawl around and explore another place. But I think I will save my money for swimming lessons. The pool is open, so we should get out before it gets too hot! I might get the DVD 'Teach your baby to swim' by Laurie Lawrence. Does anyone know anything about this DVD?

Happy 9 months Jasper!!! Where does the time go?????????

oh and thanks for your kind words about his piccy, we were out in the back verandah and it was such a nice day, i had him in his highchair for his brekky. that's the sun on his hair.

prama - hehe, DD is the same, I am always saying no and she just looks at me and laughs! Cheeky little devils! I am so impressed that Poopy is pulling himself onto furniture already - before you know it he is going to be EVERYWHERE!!

jen - yay on the second tooth! I was so excited when I thought that Catherine had finally cut a tooth this morning - hopefully soon! Sounds like she will be crawling any day too.

Catherine is soooo close to crawling - she gets up on all fours all the time and moves her legs forward, but she just can't seem to move her arms at the same time! I reckon she will get it any day now. She can move backwards though. I thought she had finally cut a tooth this morning - I could see it and it was really sharp but now it seems to have disappeared! We had a shocking night last night, she was up every 2 hours but bongella and teething tablets seem to be working. And she is 9 months today!!

We finally have our dates for the move - DH leaves on 1 Dec, comes back on the 20th for Christmas and then we all fly over on the 27th or 28th. Now there is soo much to organise!! It is doing my head in just thinking about it.

    Must go, hi everyone else

Happy nine months from us too Amber!

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick update. Found out that our wakefull nights were due to a virus... Jasper and I have a sore throat, a runny nose and a bit of a cough. Luckily, last couple of nights he has slept a lot better, only waking once, so lets hope the worst is over. Besides that he is crawling like a pro now, he is getting so fast! He is starting to pull himself up on low things like the washing basket and sits on his knees looking around very proud of himself.

Prama - Thanks for the tip on toys, will have to start buying the next stage toys too, but am trying to hold off till Xmas....

    Wish everyone a good day!
