Soph - glad to hear you finally have some answers! you must be so relieved - did you end up going to RCH or just to your GP?

Ren: - i think it will be fine for Ava as it is very long and width wise even if she is lean at least she will have room to grow outward

Re the routine, i will PM you the details, but yes, i took the basis of it from another BB member who replied to my other thread and I altered it to accommodate Ella

    Hey all,

Been a bit busy lately so been reading but not replying

Soph: Glad you finally got some answers

Ren Mel and Ella: Been having a sigh of relief reading your posts that R isn't the only one doing all that stuff although the last couple of days have been better.

We've been having refusal to feed issues for a couple of weeks as well as a return to 3 hour wake ups and catnapping and i've had no idea whats been going on R is a 3 min feeder in the first place so when he flat out refuses gets me anxious...

Glad to say though he's started getting a bit better during the day and last night was the first night in weeks i got 2x5 hour blocks of sleep yay!!!!. I'm also trying to resettle him for day sleeps now. It never worked when he was younger but the last couple of days have been good will let you know after a week or so how its going

Hope everyone has a great mothers day this sunday if i don't get back i already got my present some nice warm pj's (boring but sooooo needed)

Oh ordered an ergo sport as well as R getting a little heavy for the HAB for long periods

Nelle - thanks for the new thread

Mir - I'm finding DD is getting fussy in her HAB! She likes to look outwards not inwards now!
Ella - thanks! I'll wait for your PM! Appreciate it.
Soph - holy cow! Glad they picked it up.... hope H is ok now

Gotta go resettle DD... she's just woken.... damn! I was going to do some housework!

I put up a new pic of DD in her cow fleece cover and her cow babylegs.... oh so cute!!!!!

Ren and Mir, J now insists on facing out in the HAB too. He's such a social little bub he likes to see what's going on around him.

Mel, I'm jealous about the cloth! I'm still waiting on another order of BBHs that've been on back order for ages. J is now on the medium-large setting of the nappies - just like his 2 yo brother! He's such a big boy, it's a bit sad actually

We've had a busy week. DH is really busy at work this week, working 12hr+ shifts and just coming home and crashing. It's like being a single mum, but harder because I still have to cook, iron etc for DH and on top of that I have to try to keep the kids quiet during the day when DH is trying to sleep. On top of that, J is pigging out, going back to 3 hours between feeds at night and every hour during the day. I'm going mental! Ben has also been really clinging and refusing baths as well! May was supposed to be better for us!!!!

Still, I'm keen for another bub. We're going to be not-so-careful from Chrissy and we'll see what happens. With all that's going on, I'd still love the same distance again between J and the new bub! I must be nuts!

    hi ladies,
Happy Mothers day to you all - especially those who it is their first!!! very special.

Mir - hope you love the Ergo - I love ours - had it for a week and used it very day already...still use my sling for very quick school pick ups however..

Sorry to hear about all the unsettled babies - Amara too was a bit that way this morning - not sure why.

I cannot wake myself at 10 or 11pm for a dreamfeed like you other ladies do. I do a last feed at about 8.30pm and then it is off to bed for us. I used to wake her earlier at about 7pm - but now my hubby and I have the time between 6.45pm to 8pm to ourselves (Logan goes to bed at 6.45 which is wonderful for a 6 year old, but he NEEDS to ).

Hair still falling out??? Mine is. I hate it - feels terrible - I have very long hair too, so messy also.

Grobags - I want to get one, but they are expensive aren't they? We also have to get a high chair in the next 2-3 months - last one for Logan was second hand and worn out!
Babies seem to need so much!

well, almost time for the next feed. Dinner is made - home made Indian tonight - yummy chicken curry with coconut spiced rice - YUMMY!!

Runner - OMG!!! My hair is falling out heaps still my DH can't believe it!! Neither can I.... must have grown heaps when we were PG and now its all falling out.... every morning i find huge clumps of hair in the shower drain hahahahha
Yum your dinner sounds nice!!! I'm making marinated honey soy chicken drumsticks!

Dis - ooh! we might be PG again together!! we're trying as of Nov/Dec.... it took 8mths to conceive DD so we hope it doesnt take too long.

Ren: Congrats on Ava rolling!! - Ella is lazy she gets half way then cracks it cause she gets stuck! -
As for the hair falling out, i actually went an chopped off my hair into a nice easy manageable bob ( my hair was just past my bra strap) - my hairdresser asked me when was the last time i had it cut and i told her it was before i even fell pg with Ella! - She said no wonder there is so much hair and she thinned it right out so its much easier to manage now

Runner: the Grobags are expensive to by retail, however, i got a brand new one (in bag with tags 6-18mth 2.5 tog) from ebay for $55.00 (plus $10 postage so $65 in total)! have a look as there are heaps on there

Dis - i know what you mean about your bubba not being little - Ella is the same, she was never really tiny and now she's 63cm and 7kg soooo not a bubba bubba anymore!

Well I've figured out what's wrong with Jared. My milk has changed again. It happened at 6 weeks and he was a little spewing with his burping and now it's the same. His poo is a bit thicker too. I'm glad I know what it is It should only last a little while longer too

Ellabear, Jared didn't start off too big, but he's made up for it. He was last weighed and measured over a month ago and he was 7.3kgs and 63cms then. My last community nurse (with Ben) said that I must have cream in my milk

Just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Mothers Day tomorrow! DD did a beautiful painting and made me some bright pink cupcakes at daycare yesterday....got to love it! Mothers Day is a great day but it seems a little more special this year now we have Dash. Also, DD has just starting understanding present giving and celebrations, so to see her little face light up brings a tear to my eyes. Enjoy your special day, Mums!

    xx

PS: It seems that Dash has cut a double tooth, well the corner of one side! OMG I know...that just seems so backward he he. It will probably go back down though since only part of it has come up. The only symptoms he had was a little cheek flushing. I remember rubbing Bonjela on DD's bottom gum when she was teething, only to have her top teeth come through first....I felt soooo bad! Dash still doesn't roll over but I am not too worried. I know for sure that he would have by now if he got more floor time, but with reflux it is hard for him to have floor time....he either ends up face down in vomit, gargling on vomit, or with severe reflux because he is lying flat, poor mite. DD was running at 9.5months so felt a bit ripped off. I am happy for my last baby to take his time (selfish I know he he). HAPPY 4 MONTHS to Dash for Monday!!!

I get my nappies from Nurture Nappies or from the Nappy Lady who has a shop in Tecoma which is right near me. I got a 12 pack of nappies as people have been buying them for me instead of prezzies (like soft toys) So this means I have 20 pockets plus 5 AO1 with covers. I'm thinking of getting some more because this only makes us part time in MCN if i do a nappy wash every second day, It is full time if i'm organised to wash everyday. Plus yep I'm addicted too. I still use sposies when I go out for the whole day. That way I'm not lugging dirty nappies home.

Theres a sale on of big softies and snugtime in melbourne next week. There not grow bags specifically, but they do have the slot for the 5point harness so you can transfer from car or pram to bed. Anyone who wants the details PM me.

    Hi girls,

Things have settled down a bit here. Emily was a little angel the very next day after I wrote. She was in a perfect routine and I had so much time I was getting bored waiting for her to wake up for the next feed. We have been out for the last two days with grams (my mum) and it has given me a break when I needed it. Emily should be asleep now but grams is enjoying cuddles and so I am just letting her have them as I am home all afternoon/evening and can manage an unsettledness as a result.

Orange: Can't believe he already has teeth! Emily is not looking like rolling anytime soon either but not worried The other babies around us her age started this week (they are 1 week and 2 weeks older) ..she will do it eventually.

Ren: exciting about the roll! Can't wait to see Emily do it but she does not seem like she is ready....lazy bubba!

disgirl: Hope this coming week is a better one. It must be hard without help when bub is being unsettled.
