hi ladies,
it is wonderful to hear that most of you are having a better time re your babies sleeping - I know that if baby settles well and sleeps, then I am a happier mummy!

Dummies - well, I certainly started a discussion, didn't I? A very nice one too, no judging, and after reading it all, I think dummies do have there place in the early weeks and months.

I have started Amara on Mylanta more regularly - 1ml at a time about 3-4 times a day if needed. Beforehand I would just tr;y and settle her other ways, but now by nurse advice, I need to give her the Mylanta to see if it works. Only 24 hours so far, and there is some difference. Fingers crossed. She is still doing some big chuck ups however, and in some pain after feeds...

Period back so soon??? Ahhh.......I remember getting mine back at about 5 months post baby - I hope it is the same this time but who knows!

Me- Lisa re Running - No, does not affect my milk supply at all, either now or with my first born. I run AFTER I feed in the morning ( usually about 6 or 6.30am). And drink lots of water, have some breakfast etc. So go for it I say!!! I am entering my first race next weekend and I cannot wait!! Yes, I wear TWO sports bras - one over the top of the other however I am relatively small for a breast feeding mum - a 12 B!! But still, I am a 10A so still a big change for me. Also, be wary of hard surfaces - start running on a softer surface at first - trails, grass or sand until your muscles get used to running again. I did this for the first 2 weeks. And don't forget to stretch after!!
