Aww look at Alyssa!! Must have been an exhausting day for her! Scratching post is very impressive!

Tasia: Ashlea can look at my food and imitate all she likes she's not getting a anything until she is at least 6mths or a bit older depending on how we go with BF'ing....In saying that, if she is not gaining enough from BF'ing alone well I will try her with solids a bit sooner (4mth checkup tomorrow).

Tenny: YAY for Bubbablue!! That's great Elijah loved big school, it would be kinda sad though. My cousin does them, I'll PM you her website.

Pix: Beth is so clever sitting up!!

Ashlea has sat up for only a few seconds and she has rolled over (belly to back) a few times in the bath, but won't do it out of water....Not sure if I sure count it or not?? The xmas parade was great although I took 120 photos!! Not many turned out too good as it was too dark, I have put some on FB though under the Christmas Album. I have also posted another photo of Ashlea. Of course being the shoppaholic I am, I finished off the night with a quick purchase at Best n Less (only thing open) my niece has just started working there, they have great kids clothes! Ashlea got another 2 headbands and I got a xmas present for my friends DS.
Tomorrow we have both the kids checkups, can't wait to see what they both weigh, I know I will get into "trouble" as Jayden is still having bottles....I don't care though, I'll get him out of it soon enough.

Tenny: sorry, just realised I hadn't answered half your qns and my brain is in zombie mode!

The scratching post is 260cm high. It seriously rocks

I use olive oil for cradle cap, but always wash it out with dermaveen shampoo. It's not as drying as other shampoos, but still leaves her hair in gorgeous condition. Prolly why it sticks up so much! Rarely see any signs of cradlecap now!

Morning all. Well voice is still gone and have got a really grotty snotty green nose...ggrrrrrosss....lol Sorry TMI. Feeling very tired and slite headach, but other then that doing ok.

Kids still sleeping but im sure that Callum will wake any minute as the garbage trucks are coming and he loves to get up and watch them pick up our bins. Oh I hope this doesnt mean he is going to collect crap for a living...lol..

Anastasia Jonathan might be having a growing spurt so he is abit more hungry. I hope he settles but its good its not bothering you. Awwww your a good mummy. About the farex hun you always give the bottle first. Say he is due to have a bottle at 6am, give him his bottle then I wait 1/2hr then give him his farex. Only start off with a small amount. Check on the box that he is doing everything he is meant to to be ready for solids. Just give alittle (1-2tsp) and at his bottle milk or water. Make sure its warm his farex. dont make it to thick either hun. I gave it to lIam in the morning now he is having it at night too. Good luck hun.

Tan love the sack and stocking photos. Just beautiful hun. I just love looking at all the photos we all put up. OMG how gorgeous is Ashlea in that photo. YOu have one pretty little girl on your hands. Get the shot gun ready. I would enter that photo in a comp If I was you. Liam only sits for about 1 sec if that...lol. Im not pushing it as its not goodd for their backs to early. Ill really start helping him when he is 6 months. I have a sitting cushon to help him sit ill use that.

Pix glad you had a nice time with your step mummy. Nice that you get on so well. Love the photos of beth sitting. She is a sweet little girl. Just love it.

SW YOur cats have got the life. That is huge hun. Lucky cats. Liam has been having water alot. If we have really hot days I offer him it all the time as they are like us. If its hot we drink for our thurst well its the same with little ones. If they are hot they need some water inbetween feeds. Just alittle to take away that dryness.

Tenny yay on Bubbablue rolling over. I was only saying to kell and kristy at kells house that liam hasnt rolled for a long time now and he rolled....lol. now he is rolling all the time. But still only from the front to back. Keira is rolling every where the smnart little chicken. rambled away hun. How exciting about DS1 going to school. Do you think you will cry. I remember Melissa starting and we drove up to the school and we got out and she said see ya mum and ran off. I followed her in and couldnt find her until the bell rang then she came and said by again then said " you can go now mum" Oh i was so heart broken. I left the school in tears and rang mum crying my eyes out. I think I was at the school like 45 mins before she finished to pick her up....lol

feeb Yes each to their own hun. I would have waited but Liam was so ready. Id rather he had his tummy full then have him crying all the time cause he is hungry.

ok well this post is huge now...lol.

Hope you all have a nice day.

    bbl

Hi to all you other lovely ladies and Bear.

forgot to say kell I brought one of those bikes that jess Isaac and Callum all fight over and he keeps saying its like jesse's. LOL. he just got up and came out riding it...hehehe...I was going to give it to him for xmas but he saw it and wouldnt shut up about it so i ended up giving in.

    Morning!

Tasia.. yep a few mums have started feeding solids. Always give Jonathan his bottle before he has his solids as formula is still most important at this age. Yep those are the signs. If hes hungry then go for it. I know there are recommendations of what age to start, but honestly, they change every bloody year! I say any time after 4 months, when bubs is ready, is fine. I started Jesse the day he turned 5 months for that reason also, he was ready then. Keira is still only having 150mls formula and not that i dont think shes ready, but with 2 kids i just want to hold off atm lol. Shes not starving for it anyway obviously.

Tenny.. wooohooooooo clever boy Hayden!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh cheeky monkey doing it when your not looking hehe. Im sure there will be plenty of times that will happen! Oh thats great Elijah is doing so well with his orientation. Oh im going to be feeling the same as you soon when Jesse starts day care next year. Will be strange! Muffins went great thanks hun. Jesse loves them which is good as theyre full of vegies and he wont touch vegies any other way! I use sorbelene for cradle cap. Has worked well with both kids. Just lather it on, leave it on for a few hours. Wash it off with shampoo, maybe use a washer to lightly scrub.. then towel dry. Keira it worked first go. Jesse was second go.

Tan.. oh your cousin is so clever!!! Im so going to order those blankets next year when i have the $$! Oh i prob would count them as milestones! clever girl!!!!!! Oh good luck at the check up. Jesse still has bottles.. well not as such in a bottle but a sippy cup. Morning and night. Its only milk. I found some great sippy cups.. theyre pooh bear ones, comes 2 in a pack, one yellow one green lid. They are a great shape to change over.. jesse never knew the difference.

Missy.. if you search the internet for your dvd player youll find codes to change the region on it. Ive done it with all mine that are locked to whatever australia is. You just change it to region 0 and you can use any dvd on it. Sometimes its even written in your manual.

Ok best get dressed.. have a great day!

Yep! I saw one on ebay called an ELC (early learning centre) garage carpark or something thats exactly the same just different colours. Its in melbourne but least thats another brand you can look for. (maybe you could even message the seller and ask if you can pay for postage?)

    Morning all
We had a good night out last night, Beth was so well behaved, everyone commented on what a chilled out baby she is. But we got home late and everything is a bit disrupted. Just rocking her to her morning nap now which is a bit later than usual. Suppose we will have to think about solids at some point but for now I'm not going to worry about it. She's chunking up enough on the boobie milk!
SW - Thanks so much for the Christmas gift for Beth.... perfect! great to see you, Alyssa and the cats have arrived - and you have the essentials - scratching post and gaming computer, what more could you need! LOL at the scratching post envy.... my SIL and I went out for cake yesterday and she had cake envy... it was justified too.
Tan - sounds like the parade was fun. The pictures of Ash are just so beautiful. I'm tempted to buy some headbands for Beth because Ash looks so cute in them, little trendsetter that she is.
Tenny - DD has cradle cap too, I bought some commercial stuff to put on it, but TBH I might try olive oil, its about the same consistency and at least olive oil doesn't smell bad. Might get some Dermaveen SW. DD kind of rolled over the other day but it started with a face-plant, then on her tummy and over on to her back.... she kind of had momentum going and started with her bum in the air so I don't really know whether to count it or not!
Mez = glad your mum's group went well
Tasia.... got to get my KK shopping done as well... and all my christmas shopping...
big hello to mel, feeb, missy, kel, kristy and everyone else.... have a great day

Pleasure on the gift =) Glad you like it =)))

What more could I need? Perhaps a nice cup of tea I bought a kettle yesterday for $10 at one of the christmas sales!! It's a bit dodgey (you get what you pay for!! Very cheap construction), but it will do until our stuff arrives. So now I can add that nice cup of tea to the things I have

Here is the reason for the scratching post envy! She even bought one to match her cats!

damn - now I have cake envy too Might add that to the list of "what more could one need"

Missy - yeah, I just feed her a little more when the weather is hot. She gets everything she needs from the milk - be it for hunger or thirst. Just giving her little sips of the water because she IS so desperate to have the things that we're having. She grabs for everything now, too

Tan - all your happy snaps have been adorable =)

Cats seem happier this morning. Let them into the room this morning after Alyssa's morning feed (as I was awake and could watch them). Not so comfortable being in a single bed with three cats sprawled all over it! Bad enough in our usual king size bed.

Well, the girl is stirring again! Better go get her =)

    Later =)

Tan - Good luck with your checkups today. I reckon if she's rolled over it's counted! Were the Santa sacks expensive or alright? I'm not sure if DP will go for it if they're expensive. I kinda have to persuade him either way. It's all worth it though.

SW - OMG 260cm! I'm only 159cm. Lol. HOLEY MOLEY and matching the cats too. wow!

Missy - I'm so going to cry when he starts. It mighten be as much as I did with the preschool this year seeing as I'm not pg and that was kinda the first step towards school. Awh. If Elijah runs off like Melissa did I'll be so so upset and cry my eyes out too.

Kell - I'm glad Jesse likes the muffins and you can get vegies into him. I don't think DS1 gets all his vitamins so I'm thinking about getting some kids multivitamins for him.

It's like he was rolling over yesterday, but today doesn't want to. What's up with that??
    It's frustrating.
When you bubbas all started rolling over did they do it constantly at first or it took a bit for them to get into it?
I can't remember from when Elijah was a baby at all.

Thanks for the info about what you all do for cradlecap. I did the sorbelene dealio last night and it's alot better.
It's so funny that his hair was falling out (still is a little bit, I think) on the top of his head but it was the shorter hairs so he still has the really long ones going on. It was kinda like a comb over the other day. The hair that fell out is growing back fast and it's not so bad this week. He still has loads of hair on the back of his head though. It's weirddddd.

Mel, Feeb, Mez, Tasia, Zee, Belle, Sweetpea and anyone else I might have missed accidently.

Yeah Kell I just mail her to see if I can pay for postage. Hope I get it.

Tenny Liam will roll then wont for a little while. I think its just if they can be bothered....lol. Oh I hope you dont get to upset when DS1 goes. Oh they grow up to fast.

SW wow on the cat and matching. That is so funny...lol. Yep the little ones just want everything. I find liam is grabbing for everything. I was having toast today for breccy and liam was on my lap, I was talking to callum and liam grabbed my toast. Was so funny

Liam has some cradle cap too pix but nothing some oil wont fix.

    Ok bbl

SW: WOW that is 1 impressive cat scratch your friend has! And love the matching cats!!

Missy: Hope your headache goes away! Thanks re Ash's photo Shot gun is out and loaded haha. I'm not pushing either, last baby... want her to stay that way for a bit longer.

Kell: Jayden still won't take milk out of anything but his bottle, I even have even tried his Nuby bottle as that is like a teat but nup won't take it. I'd cut his milk all together but he still asks for it a lot. I'll see if they have any ideas at CH....I could put honey on the teat like I did with his dummy but I don't want him thinking milk is yuck, just the bottle.

Pix: Oh I am a huge fan of headbands now, never used to be. Beth is a good girl for her mummy and daddy! Ashlea is always asleep when we go to this cafe and the owner (SIL's ex boss) always comments, I tell her its a hard life being a parent LOL.....seriously is though when Jayden is around haha.

Tenny: Sorry haven't sent that website yet, the sacks are $40 for velveteen or $30 for cotton, the stockings are $25 for velveteen or $20 for cotton. She has easter bags too, we might let Jayden have chocolate next easter so he might actually get to use it LOL

Ashlea is a bit unsettled today, not sure what her problem is but I'm sure its just that she is tired and she has a brother that loves her WAY too much! She is asleep again, so I better get ready to go out. My phone is completely dead now, it won't even turn on (it has been freezing the last few days). I think I have to get another one today

ETA: Love the Tshirt SW! So cute!!!

YAY for Jacob Feeb!! Clever boy!

    Hi all,

It's been a few days since I have had the time to post so here goes.

SW that pic is just so cute. I need one for bub when I am on the computer she stares at it, if I move it away she cryies lol. And I need to get a cat scatching pole for our cat she drives me made.

Teenykins, Reaghan first rolled at 3 months but it has only been the past few days that she does it regualary and she is 5 months yesterday, even now she does it sometimes and not others, this morning she rolled herself under our coffee table, where as last night she was happy to just lay on her back.

pixie, gald you had a good night out, hopefully Beth will settle back into routine today without any problems.

Tannis good luck with your kids checkup tommorrow. I realy should book Reaghan in she has not been weighed properly since she was 3 months, I just stand on the scales with her lol. But would be good to see properly.

To everyone else happy Friday and hope you all have a good weekend.

Reaghan is all of a sudden deciding she can do everything, she is sitting up almost unaided just have to catch her when she wobbles, is rolling all over the place and cries when she gets stuck up against anything, and yesterday when i was holding her standing she decided to hold onto the side of the coffe table. I so don't want her crawling or walking yet being my last I would love her to wait awhile longer lol.

    Cheers
