    Hey everyone,
Finally had some time to read up, but now don't have much time to write.

Charlize spent most of the night vomiting last night. First time she has had a vomiting thing, it's not fun. Poor little thing was a mess, and she was so limp. We are thinking it might have been from a house spider bite. She started screaming after dinner when she was playing on an outside chair. We didn't know what was making her scream, then she stopped. We took them out to dinner with us, with some friends, and she started to vomit all over the table. Poor thing, I was so worried. Thankfully this morning she is much better.

DH and I are now talking, but we definately need to talk about what happened, as I'm very aggitated and upset with what happened. But all is well. It's our anniversary next monday, and we plan to go to a resturant at the casino, the food is just devine and we like to have a bet as well. And we haven't been there for years so looking forward to it.

Jack is well, he is sitting all the time now, trying to crawl, but has come to like rolling comando style everywhere. It's funny to watch, it takes him only about 20 sec to get from one side of the lounge room to the other. He is also walking when we hold him up. His little chubby legs handle his weight well, I think he is going to make a great footy player.

I'm down below both my pre prenancy weight now by 1kg. Although, once I start training again, I should gain a little, as I gain some muscle back.

Dani, that is great news about Oscars head. Charlize has a big flat spot, but it is barely there now. Fingers crossed Oscars head improves as well.

Veronica, Avaleigh sounds like she is just a few days away from taking off, how clever!!!

Happy 6 months birthday to Tom!!

Jan, sounds like the controlled crying is working. And don't worry about him feeling neglected, he is just probably thinking, "hey, they learnt I'm only putting things on for attention" little cheeky bugger. I hope you continue to have good nights.

Sacha, where would be a good place for you to meet? I wouldn't mind a drive down the coast to the beach. What do you think?

Must get going Charlize is crying the poor little thing.

A quick question to all the mum's whose bubs are bigger than Tom - he is 7kg and 68cm - what size are they wearing? Target is having a 20% off sale on baby clothes so i want to go down and layby some clothes for winter - not sure what size to get though.. He is currently just into 00 tops - still in 000 pants although his trackies are getting a bit short. I was thinking of getting 0's.

Mel - poor Charlize!! A white tailed spider crawled up Toms singlet yesterday - i nearly had a heart attack. I absolutely hate spiders! i hope she is feeling ok.

Tom is celebrating being 6 months by being a horror today - and DRIBBLING everywhere! I have never seen so much. He is like that dog off the Tom Hanks movies with the drool hanging out the side of its mouth.

OH my goodness.. there are alot of tears and crying coming out of Avaleigh's room.. she has been in bed for 2 hours now and is sooo tired but wont put herself to sleep.. I decided to help her out cause she was hysterical

Mel - I hope Charlize is going to be OK and its good that you and DH are talking again. I hope that you do talk about it, makes things a bit better.

Em - Avaleigh was 7kg and 67cm a few weeks back and I have her in 00's. For winter I would be buying 0's. I have some summer clothes in 0 and 1 that I hope Avaleigh will fit in to but it doesnt look like it!! We tend to have a really long summer so maybe I will sneak in 1 wear out of them..

Clothes sizes get tricky when they get older. Charlize was a size 0 last summer and she is still a size 0 now but moving into a size 1, I wish didn't pass on all her old summer clothes, as I thought they would be wayyyy to small, but they still would have fit.

So maybe Veronica, Avaleigh still might fit into the bigger size clothes next summer. Either way I would definately hold onto them just in case. I had to ask you too, has Jason's sister had her baby yet? I only thought about it the other day, don't ask why either, my brain does some very strange things

Jack is already in size 0, so I think I will be buying size 0-1 for winter. They seem to really slow down in growth as they approach their first birthday. A friend of mine, her boy is 1 week older than Charlize and he is nearly into size 2.

Em, I would get 0's. If he still fits into some 000 but most 00, size 0 definatley sounds about right.

I forgot to tell you all, I tried on the dress we are going to be wearing for my sisters wedding in May, and it's lovely. I can't wait, it's only 16 weeks away. I love a reason to get hair, make-up done.

Just a quick question too, for all the BF mothers out there. What bottle do you use to give bubbas EBM?

Wow, 2 hours is long time V. I'm glad you decided to help her a little. Are you following any sort of system to get her down? I hope she got a good sleep in.

Em - LOL at your little Hooch! Toofy pegs coming? Autie is 7.2kg and 65cm, not bigger than Tom I know. She is mostly in 00 but when I buy Bonds things, I get 0 because they tend to be smaller. I have bought her 0s and 1s for winter and hoping they fit ok.

On the spider thing - I used to be a 'catch and release' person and wouldn't let anyone else kill them either. Since Autie came along, I'm on a culling mission and none escape my evil shoe, no matter what size - LOL. I do feel bad mind you, but I gave a general warning to all within listening distance, that if they came in my house, they were committing suicide, so it's not my fault if they choose to live dangerously.

Mel, scary for you to think she had a spider bite. Good that she's feeling better. Claps for your weight! I am unfortunately very lazy and am still 12kg over my 'happy weight' from before. Can only blame myself and Woolworths brand banana split biscuits - oh and the occasional Magnum Ego... We don't have much beach atm - the sea's swallowed it up but have you ever been to Harley Park? It's in the Broadwater where Charis Seafood is? There's a little lagoon and shade and a playground - good for young kids though might be busy as it's school holidays. Is anybody else interested and able to do a beach day? I can't remember who lives up this way.

Mel, Autie never has EBM really, only once since she was sick in hospital after birth and then it was not a great success from the bottle the hospital gave me. If I had to do it again, I would try her sippy cup instead. She takes water so well from it.

Mel - Yeh I will hold on to the clothes. I am keeping all of Avaleigh's clothes until we are done with kids. I am getting clothes from a friend that daughter is nearly 5 and its good to get them but bad!! Becasue she has gotten them out of her house but they are piling up in mine! I give Avaleigh EBM in the tommee tippee bottles, they are shaped very much like a breast. I tried once with avent bottle and she hated it!

Sacha - Avaleigh wasnt crying the whole time! She was quite happy in her bed for 1.5hrs but it was the last 30mins she was crying and I was trying to settle by not picking up but then I just gave in.

    Happy 6 months to Tom!

Liam gets weighed next week, but I'm guessing that he'll be close to 8kgs & around 70 cms long, and he's still in 00 for everything, except the Bonds stuff, which is always small I think. He's got a longish body & short legs (gotta love genetics), but doesn't yet have a budda belly, so I'll probably get a bit more time out of the 00 trousers, but ready to go up to 0's for his suits.

V - would be good if we could maybe combine Liam & Avaleigh. I get great sleeps during the day, he goes down without problems everytime. In fairness, he's good at night once he's down, so it's just been that one part of the day where he's difficult, so I really can't complain that much. Even if/when he does wake up during the night it's very much a quick feed & back to sleep with no fuss, which makes it easy. By the way, have you heard back from your boss yet??

Sacha - pmsl at the evil shoe. I share your revised view on suicidal spiders. I have no objection if other people want to do the catch & release, but if I'm the one who has to deal with the situation, then it's the end of the road.

Mel - well done on the weight loss, that's a great effort. And it's good to hear that you & DH are at least talking & planning to celebrate your anniversary. I hope that you get to resolve the remaining issues soon, it's good to have clear air.

Em - your MIL sounds worse than mine. I think that sometimes I have mine a bit scared of me, as she just wouldn't dare to openly comment about my parenting like yours did - I'd be really furious if she made a comment like that to me. All things considered she's actually very good given that she's with us most of the time, it's just that the good things don't make for such interesting stories. And she adores Liam, it's going to be really sad putting her back on the plane, knowing that she will miss him so much, and she doesn't have any of her boys in the country anymore.

But, there's a good chance that she'll be out again in the near future, because I suspect that in the not too distant future I *might* get to plan a wedding. Pat & I were talking about getting Liam christened, and he's been struggling with the Catholic/Anglican thing (wants to keep both sides happy), but I said that my main problem with having Liam christened is that we're not even engaged, and I'm starting to feel a little worried that it might never happen, even though Pat has assured me that he'll get around to it. Anyway, turns out that he was going to ask at Christmas, but Liam was having such a bad time with all the people that the moment just never presented itself. Not sure why this is all so complicated, it's not as if the answer is a surprise. So that's a bit exciting really, although I'm not going to talk about it anymore until I have something positive to report, cos I don't want to jinx anything.

Enough from me now (& wow, twice in a day!!), sorry for the blabbing, it's just been such a long time.

Mel - I forgot to tell you about Jason's sister!! Yes she had her baby, a boy called Andrew about 1 month after Avaleigh was born. We dont see much of them, we havent even seen any of Jason's family since the wedding! I think she is doing good with the baby, she is a lot more motherly compared to the other sister.

Jan - I emailed my boss last night and I got a response this morning from him saying that he is talking to HR and they are discussing a few options. So it hasnt been a yes or a no yet. I dont really want to go back there but if I can do everything from home then I will do that for a little while. We'll see what happens over the next week!

haha yeh it must have sounded like the Sacha. I would never let her scream for that long! Her screaming for 5 mins is long enough.

Hmm how to explain the steps? I was standing above her holding her hands, you see mum's walking their kids like that?? And then she took 4 steps with me holding her hands. She was fully holding herself up, I was kinda like support forher. I am so crap at explaining things!

Ok i am getting a bit stressed about all these things your bubs seem to be able to do! Lucas has still not even rolled from back to front fully.......hmm should i be concerned?

Em - Lucas is 8.5 kgs and 0's are still a little bit too big if that helps!

Jan- i hope you get that proposal soon, i waited 10 years for mine! Bl**dly men!!

Lucas' needles were fine, the nurse and doc did then both at once, one leg each so it was only one impact!! He is pretty sleepy today but fine!!

    Good afternoon Everyone

It has been a stinking hot day today and after going out for morning tea with two ladies from mothers group me and ethan have just hibernated for the rest of the day, i took one trip to the bin and sweated that much i thought i was melting lol!
I didnt even do any packing, but i did clean up and mop and vacuum the floors.

Megan- Lol at eating the potato!! Its yummy though, i eat ethans too
I really have no idea where bubs should be at re rolling, sitting etc but if you are concerned maybe speak to you CHN. Glad Lucas did well with his needles, ethan was sleepy after this lot too.

Vek=u i km acg, LOL i was going to delete this but maybe its ethans way of saying hi!! Anyway......

Veronica- Ethan takes steps like that too! he has only done two though, but he must feel really proud as he has a huge grin on his face when he does. Hope things work out with your work and you get the answer you want.

Jan- oooh exciting, hope pat's proposal happens real soon!

Mel- Oh poor little charlize, hope she's feeling better soon. Glad things are getting better with Dh. As you know im not b/f'ing now but when i was and giving ethan ebm i used the Tommee Tippee closer to nature bottles, they have a silicon teat shaped like the breast and they can feel the warmth of the milk through the teat so it seems like they are still b/f'ing. Ethan wont drink from any other bottle now!

Guess what ethan has been doing all day today? He has been on his hands and knee's in the crawling position and he stays there like that for a few minutes rocking back and forth, the last time he did it he got one hand foward then lifted his back leg up and nosed dived the carpet!! He gets very vocal when he cant work out how to move, my mum doesn't think it will be long before he is off, but please let us move house first, lol we're in the middle of packing and there is so much he could get in to

I cant remember who but someone mentioned there bub getting in to a "push up's" type position, ethan has been doing it too, its very funny, the look of pure shock on there faces when they lean to far to one side and end up rolling across the other side of the room is great!!

Well i best be off, ethan is bored sitting here and is starting to get aggressive lol
    Bye for now

hi everyone and their super clever babies!!!
Megan76 dont stress it might sound mean but it lookes like your bub is a bit bigger than the others that are moving so i bet Lucas just has to get a bit stronger! Plus they all do things differently so just keep encouraging him
    Take care everyone
