Hi girls - sorry I have been mia - I'm not quite sure why - I seem to be managing ok. I ensure I have the boys clothes out and snacks for kinder packed the night before and so far have made it to 8:30am kinder on time, but I just havent been motivated to get back on here (other than quickly sneaking on to see if Fran's little one has arrived). I have been reading all your posts though and really want to write individual comments - so I just need to snap out of it and make some time.

Maddison is now over 8lb 7oz so is really porking it on which is great. She is in the 25% for weight (the boys were always over 50%) but is only 10% for height so she is still in 0000 atm but I dare say this wont be for long - its just the height keeping her back not the weight. She measured 50cm at her 4 week checkup, but she is beautiful! The last two nights she has gone 6 hrs over night which is awesome but otherwise she averages around 3 1/2 or 4 hourly so cant complain. She is still puking constantly though, am going through the clothes and spew nappies like nothing, but she is not distressed by it. We go away in 2 weeks and I am a little nervous about taking her and how I'll manage with feeds and her crying through the night not wanting to disturb anyone else but mum's with us and that will be a huge help. The next two weeks are flat out though, I have gown of the year tomorrow night, Jacksen's speech session Friday, Birthday party for Jacksen to attend Sat arvo, Chris' 30th on Saturday night, Jacksen's followup from operation ENT appt on Monday, pre-school committee meeting mon night, My 6 week ob check up Wed, dinner for Chris' and my mum's real birthday Wed night, MCHC checkup for Maddison on Thurs (doing her 8 weeker early cause we will be away), Waxing on Friday (cant go to QLD hairy!), a 50th party the following Sat night, Maddison's 8 week immunisation Monday (again have to do it early cause we'll be away), another getting to know the primary school night on Tuesday and then we leave on the Wed. Not to forget kinder, swimming, aussie hoops and some how packing for this holiday. I am exhausted just typing about it.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi - I am thinking of you all and love hearing how your gorgeous bubs are going. I'm sorry I'm not more active but I will try!

Jem - Jacksen just had his adnoids operated on two weeks ago - sounds very similar to what you are going through (just nose not ears) but so hear you on the recovery and hospital visit. Chris had to go with Jacksen whilst I waited in the room cause I couldnt watch him being put under (I was with him last time he had it done, and I still remember the fear on his face). So big hugs to you!

Oh and with the feeding I do the same as what Rebecca said - feed one side, Maddison falls asleep, change her, feed other side. Then next feed I'll start on the side I finished. And if you think getting wee'd on is bad - just wait till the poo squirts everywhere - picture nice cream curtains sprayed with nice yellow baby poo! LOVELY - lol. (That was Jacksen not Maddison - although the way she lets rip like no lady - I'm ensured her change table is not near the curtain!!!)
