This is going to be much easier – the laptop is AWESOME and it means that I can probably check in almost every day and not have so much to catch up on. Except for the next few days that is – I have an assignment due on Monday that I haven’t even started yet, so this is the LAST time I am allowing myself to do anything non-uni related on the computer until it’s finished. I would even be happy with a 3 at this point, which is saying something coming from me – I’m usually not happy unless I get at least a 5, but I figure that even doing assignments at all while I’m 31 weeks pg and have a toddler to look after is no mean feat!
Hi bon! Glad the pg is going well. I hope that dreaded morning sickness stays away for the whole pg. So cute about Harry and the cars. I'm sure that the not feeling like you're pg thing won't last long when the bump starts hitting into everything!
Mel - how cute about Eliana and the horse! When we showed Charlie a hourse while we were away he bent down on all fours and started to pretend to eat grass... well, actually he was trying to eat grass for real, but we stopped him just in time! Sorry you're not feeling well. It's a bugger you don't live closer because I could come and take her for a walk so you can get a bit of shut eye. Lots of Codral is good for things like that.
Just got home from having dinner with DH in town. I probably mentioned that he’s doing all this extra part time work. Well, we though that there would probably only be a couple more shifts after this week, but he’s been offered another two weeks’ full time work, which equates to about 4 more weeks of this single parenting thing, unfortunately. It’s a bugger too, because we don’t really need the money (although we’re certainly not going to turn it down!) but it’s too good an opportunity for DH to knock back. You never know – it could lead to full time permanent work and he would be so happy to work there on that basis. I’m going to put my foot down though – NO MORE WORK after May 1, otherwise I will feel like I haven’t seen him for 10 years. I suppose it’s a good thing because I’m more likely to do uni work if he’s not here to distract me.
Anyway, that’s enough babbling from me. Sorry about that – that’s what happens when I don’t talk to any adults all day… when I get a chance to talk (or type) I can’t shut up! I hope that you and your bubs are treating you well.
