Happy birthday Fletch matey for yesterday!

Belated happy birthday to you too Vanita!

Bad mum Trace? Nah I don't think so at all. How cute would Maddy look! Ah and Indah with the toast is priceless.

Storm - You are doing a fab job and Angel has had the benefits of BM for a good while now so HUGE pat on the back for ya! Don't worry Ned lost 50g in 2 weeks and CHN had me totally stressed but he put on 250g in 10 days now

Kate - Yay for swimming classes and your job sounds great. Working with good people makes things heaps easier.

Jo - Oh yeah you are studying too - well done! That will be great !

Are all you August girls meeting up today?

Ok sorry I know I've skipped a heap of you...2 sleeping babies....ahhh gotta make the most of it!

Storm you are doing so well. Id be whinging and whinging but you are just so darn fantastic! Amy sounds sweet. Jess is loving it too..really loving the social side of it more though...shes very keen to do well in SOSE cos its my dad teaching her...she thinks thats so much fun.

Trace pooey to the other mums. Jess had pink streaks with hightlights in her hair last year and SHE loved them. We went to our friends for a bbq yesterday and could tell that they disapproved of both Jess and Emmy's streaks but i think its just hair for goodness sake. I have the most wonderful considerate exceptionally bright well adjusted kids...and they have two little obnoxious socially inept ones so i think id rather the streaks lol. Whoohooo on the shorter days too..bet that flies by now..your ticker is just whizzing along!!! LOL at Indah and the toast too hehe....I have to try Sammy with nutella one day!

Soph hope you are enjoying the peace with the babies sleeping. Does Lucie normally have a sleep at the same time as Neddy?

Hope Fletchie and Vanita had wonderful birthdays and got spoilt rotten!!!

Hello everyone else. Hope youve all had lovely weekends. We had quite a full on one...im feeling tired today but it was fun all the same. Sammy has had a lovely time. Spent most of yesterday throwing a ball for our friends dog which he thought was pretty cool. Our dog Bella is a pekingese so no ball throwing for her here hehe.

Trace, Maddy's hair sounds great! Viv had purple hightlights in her hair over summer but they've faded. She told me she's ready to dye it again. Hmmm, I said not yet! Glad you got Indah some shoes. You're right about the price. Been that sort of price since I bought them for Viv too. I just see it as an investment in their future - their bodies! Oh yeah, did I miss something Tracey? Have you changed your hours to school hours? Sounds perfect if you have. Good for you matey!

Storm, it sounds like you're doing a great job at perserving with BF. Keep it up as much as you can. It's doing Angel wonders. Hope your check goes well today.

The boy needs some lunch - he was up early this morning for school swimming trials - Vi not Blake, but he was still up, fed and out the door by 8am. Need him to have lunch and go down a bit earlier than usual to make up for it.

Rach, nope havent changed to school hours, just Mon, Tues & Wed this week as Mum & Dad are away & so I didnt wnat this psycho stalker Mum (whom kept offering) to take maddy to school, so i just told my Boss & she'd not argue with me a pregnant woman...!
But it does feel very nice... LOL..

Indah was asleep when I bough her new shoes, the lady measured her feet etc whilst she was asleep in the pram & I kept saying they look WAY too big, anyways Indah went into the car asleep, stayed asleep til we got home & as I was getting her from the car she looked down & noticed her white shoes were now pink & bigger! she kept trying to touch them & kept saying shoes, shoes, shoes. My girlfriend & I were cracking up coz she was totally blown away by her shoes changing!!!! hee hee, then all she wanted was down, so she could walk!!!! Yeah I relented with the hair colouring it was that or $20 of crap in TimeZone!???

Jo I SO hear you on that, another friend called past last night & said OMG I hope that's gonna wash out...!
Her kids are the rudest most feral little monsters, infact she tells me off for saying the word BUM to my kids (Indah always pinches hers or smacks it & says BUM over & over!) her kids say "That's a sweatr word," I say it's not in my house! But her kids spit on the floor, wipe their filthy hands on my walls & STEAL from SHOPS or purses left out!?
Her oldest (9) took an apple without asking but that didnt really bother me & when I said 'No food in the bedroom, she put it down in my hall way & spat the apple out of her mouth onto my floor & said I'm not eating anymore!" WTF!? My friend wouldnt bat her eyelids to that & think I am OTT with the no food in bedrooms rule, but her kids say Tush or bot bot!??? PPPFFFTTT
I am Ok with the pink highlights & as you say it's only hair for goodness sakes! I'd prefer coloured hair with manners than non coloured hair & no manners!

Soph, yep Indah with the toast was so funny coz she was admaant it was ALL GONE! Yeah shoved into my singlet! I hope the school doesnt send me a letter for maddy's hai or there'll be a psycho preg woman at their door steps!

OOOh I wanted to ask... If anyone actually knows in maddy's class there's been a Chicken Pox outbreak, I have had it, maddy has also had it, Indah hasnt (what age can she be immunised) but we had a few kids over to play since school has gone back & me being pregnant is that OK, or something to worry about!????

    Thanks

Also apologies to those I have missed & all of the girls going to the meet... HAVE FUN!!!!

Thanks Brooke, I knew it was on the free vac list & it' recommended to be immunised as it then means you can get shingles!??

OK, I am mostly concerneda bout me being preg though, but you were preg too hey???

You should be able to get her done now, Tracey. I'm sure she'll be fine. As for you, I'm sure they've taken BTs at the Angliss. You could ask them to check if you still have immunity if you're really worried as they offered to do that for me when I was pg with Viv at the RWH FBC. They wouldn't be able to immunise you if weren't but at least you'd know one way or the other. I can imagine the shorter hours feel fabulous even if it's only for a few days. Did you even sort out what your going to do when Digger comes along?

I hope you get exactly what you want. Good decision not to be hasty about it all.

Woo Hoo Brooke a great day there I'd say... Oh My GP said you cnat get shingles if you've had the immunisation???
    Anyways I'll look into it!!!

I added a pic of Maddy's pink hair & if you got to my name (rather than clicking on Digger) it will show you the first 3 pic's where I added my 17wk belly shot!

    Hey girls

I haven't posted in here since the threads merged, so I had better do a quick introduction for those who don't know me...

I'm Rebecca (Bec) & I'm from the August bubs thread. I'm mum to Georgia (our DD in heaven) and Joshua (17 months old) and have another bub on the way (due in May).

I just wanted to pop in quickly for now to say thanks to all the Sydney August mums for such a lovely afternoon. It was great to see you all as well as your gorgeous little ones. We have a great bunch of kids if I do say so myself!

Brooke, thanks again for having us all and yes, of course the flowers were for you, you dag! I'm sorry, I meant to tell you that I had left them in the kitchen but didn't get a chance as things were a bit hectic with all the kids running around and I forgot! Glad you liked them.

Will say a big hello to everyone else for now.

    From Bec

P.S. Love the pink streaks Tracey! (You're looking great too).

Hi ladies, am tired so wont do personals. Have been perusing and must chat more when am not feeling so cornswaggled. My older girls got chicken pox twice, once at 18 mths, and again at 3 yrs ( ending up in the RCH on IVAB's ) so both Rianna and Dion are vaccinated. D' boy is vocalising a lot more so that is great ( not a lot of recognisable words yet though )

Congrats on all the growing in the tummy bubs. look forward to hearing of all the new arrivals.

I'll check them out at work (getting ready now) But wanted to say, I met Rae, Alex, Ash & Danni last night for dinner & we had a FAB time... MMMMM

Dinner was great & then to top it off we put $25 in a poker machine (we were at the Casino) & took out $120 which meant $20 each (as my best mate Kel came with me!)
    Woo hooo

OOOh & Young John Cougar Mellencamp was there too eyeing me off!!! LOL...

Saw a truck move into the lane of a car on the way home & the car went flying into the concrete side wall, driver was OK so we sped up & got the truck rego (I was crapping my undies (panties) that the car was gonna soin & smash into me as it was just infront of me!!)

The girls have some pic's & choc!!!! HA HA HA!

Indah said I LOVE YOU this morning!!!! WOOO HOOO
