MIL can't look after Aleise this Friday 'cause she has a Christmas party to go to (patchwork friends) and Matt told her on the phone that my mum could mind Aleise. Then I reminded Matt that mum has an appointment with a specialist for her car accident compo claim on Friday. A neighbour friend can't look after her before Matt leaves for work and she suggested I try daycare for an extra "emergent" day. Matt said he could take a personal day to look after Aleise and I said if he does its all his mother's fault! I'm thinking of just enrolling Aleise for daycare on Fridays as well (if they ahve the room which I don't think they do). I really believe if MIL is going to put her social life over the welfare of her only son's child then she shouldn't get the privilege of looking after her every 2nd Friday!
The thing is Matt will be home every other Friday and we'll still have to put Aleise in so it seems a waste really.
MIL"s birthday is 7 December and I won't be contributing to that silly scrapbooking machine she's put on layby (that costs $500 and doesn't get you coffee) so Matt will just have to give her a small cash amount.
Oh and Simone and Jess - hang in there chickies.. we're all thinking and praying for you.
