Thanks Tali I know, you're right, it will pass... just this time it's seems to be going on and on and on... maybe it's just because it's winter and the kids have kept me inside so much with their coughs and colds. I really try to avoid taking them out when they are sick or even 'run down' ie probably not contagious, but not %100 either. It seems to me that no other mum stays actually inside at home by herself with the kids as much as I do I guess i am getting resentful. I know that it is best to keep them at home when they are not well but at the same time I get bad cabin fever... I guess other mums just take their kids out until they get really sick.... or they have extended family to leave them with so they can still go out. Oh, and as soon as I do take my kids out they end up catching something from some other sick kid so it all starts again. The thing I guess I am resenting is that if I was a working mum I wouldn't feel like i was being "taken for granted". DH would have to share the load of staying home with them when they are sick and if he had to do that it would really sink in how arduous it is. Because I am a SAHM it's just not noticed how frequently i am house bound. Any how I probably should stop whinging... at least we can (barely) afford for me to stay home. I don't know how working parents deal with having 2 young children sick so frequently through winter. Actually I do: they pack them off to day care until they get really bad. I know us Junies wouldn't do that but you'd be surprised at how many do. Anyhow, vent over. here's me changing my mood and changing Wade's sheets from another cough spew... he doesn't have gastro, just a sensitive gag reflex.
