Japen - I look at new mums and cluck over their babies, then I say I'm not sure whether I can handle another baby. Some of you will remember that I went through a type of depression after I had my "op" and started why oh why did I have this done. But now I'm glad that I had it done as I know that there is no way that I can inflict my condition on another baby and have the risk of losing the baby. I'm happy with my 6 babies and if I ever want to have another baby, then James and I will look either towards adopting(because James was adopted) or fostering. I went to a mums group today and one of the mums turns 50 next year and she is going through the fostering course. I have thought about it, and it was one of the things James and I thought about after we found out that I could effectively kill another baby. I hope that makes sense, I 'm boiling here and am just about to walk down to pick the kids up.
Bath - When only one turned up, I was extremely disappointed, especially as I had invited my SIL and her friends and they chose a birthday party where they could have a **** up, instead of having a fun night. It hasn't put me off though, as I know that I can have better parties without that sort of ppl there.
I had some sad news on Saturday night. An old(90ish) friend of the family died after a long illness, she had reached the stage that she couldn't see and couldn't move around by herself anymore, and relied on her daughters family. She and I were very close and my kids regarded her as a great grandmother. She had a turn on Saturday afternoon and after they took her to the hospital, slowly slipped away. Her husband died 40 years ago and I know she missed him terribly. I am going to her funeral on Wednesday, just to pay my respects to her family. RIP Mary,I will always love you.
James has gone fishing with Dad this afternoon and I have a meeting tonight, so its his night to look aftert the brats...oops kids!!!! lol
Pat split the space between his top lip and nose on Friday night, and has a gash there! We are being really careful because everytime he hits his mouth on something it splits open again and blood starts pouring out.
Anyway, better start towards picking up the kids, or they will be here before I know it.
Love yous all

So it wasn't really contact with other babies that started me thinking about a third. It was numerous factors... even logistical ones: we had a spare room in the house... and a spare seat in the car! Finally I started to see "signs" eg my Emmaljunga pram was replced with our contents insurance because Verity broke it. This meant that I would have a nearly new pram and if I didn't have another baby it would go to "waste". LOL Also there was the fact of the big 9 year age gap between Verity and Wade... I just thought that it would be nice for Wade to have a play mate.... as it turned out we had another little boy, so that's perfect. I feel that there is a lovely 'balance' with our family ATM. I feel no desire to have another because i intuitively feel that the balance would be upset by: cramped conditions, problem with having to buy a new car, that two children play better than 3 (I don't want to risk the two boys ganging up on a younger sibling) plus there are other things like school fees, my body (especially the cholestasis I had last pregnancy which would be very highly likely to return and cause even greater complications)... and finally: I am just too tired! I hope that kinda answers your question Jaspen, feel free to ask away, I'm usually an open book when it comes to these things

for tommorrow.
