Nik- We've been having random middle of the night screaming too?! I thought it was her front teeth bothering her. Whatever it is i am hoping for it to be gone soon!

Super P- 40's still a spring chicken in my books. How was the party?

FF- i used to LOVE enid blyton, i had the big hardcover A4 magic faraway tree books. They were my all time faves. I can;t wait until my girls read them.

Kell- don't ya love advice from well meaning people who have NO IDEA??? Seriously some people should keep their opinions to themselves. I have been a little clucky for number 3 lately, but no more babies while we are in PNG, malaria and pregnancy don't go so well. But we would like another two down the track.

Corelly- Great news that lump is not nasty looking. I used to be out your way, spent to much time shopping at plenty Valley trying to escape the heat last summer! Great playground though.

Hi Mo. How you feeling this week? The girls better?

DH left for PNG today, so just me and the girls (and my folks. ) Heading to the yarra valley this weekend for a hens day. I'm taking the bride hot air ballooning Sunday morning, i am so excited!

Kellbell - Welcome back, and I hope you have a much better week at work this week. I bet you wish you could tell SIL to shove her advice where the sun don't shine. No more babies for me in the near future, especially considering DP is 10,000km away. If everything goes according to plan, I would like to start working in the next 6 months in a permanent position and work for at least 6 months before trying for another bub so that I get maternity leave. Or if DP gets a job close to our family I won't have to go back to work. I'm with Mo - it will be interesting to see who will first out of our group and how long it will be until an announcement.

Corelly - Enjoy your holiday and good luck with trying to change your bedtime routine. Don't be too disheartened if it's not successful, I know that my DD always has a terrible sleep when we're somewhere different. She generally gets to sleep ok but wakes up alot. We love lots of pasta here, carbonara and bolognaise, roasted sweet potato cubes, mini zucchini quiche muffins, banana muffins, a slice of bread with a little bit of rafferty's puree on it rolled into a scroll then sliced into pieces. DD also had peas for the first time last night and loves them too. She has whatever we're having 9 times out of 10, and generally dinner leftovers for lunch. And muffins freeze really well so I make a big batch and freeze them up. I also do zucchini muffins for me - great one handed snack!

Nik - I do a zucchini muffin and it's a huge hit too here. I swear that she would eat them for every meal if I let her.

JM - I still have my A4 Magic faraway tree book, it's a dark blue colour and I was reading it to DD before we went overseas. Unfortunately it got packed up and is in storage atm but will be fun to bring it out again later. Hot air ballooning sounds like so much fun, have a great time!

AFM - Going to visit family again this weekend. My grandma and aunty are coming up from sydney. We're going to have an afternoon tea on Friday with both of my grandma's and aunties from both sides of the family.

I'm so upset, the medication that was helping doesn't agree with Kodi & i had to stop it.
So now i have to wean K, so i can go back on it. I don't have a choice & there is no other meds i can take.
Stupid body can't do anything right.

Mo I'm so sorry. It is terrible when things happen that we have no control over. You've done so well to make it this far but you know that. Thinking of you. That really sucks big time xxx

Mo, thats not good news. try to think of it in the positive light, you almost made it to 12 months that is a GREAT effort!

FF- whats your zucchini muffin recipe?

hey, when can we start giving the kids dairy milk as a drink instead of formula/breastmilk?

Big hugs Mo, that is really crappy. You have been so fortunate to get this far with Kodi but what she needs more than to continue breastfeeding is a healthy mummy. Not that it makes you feel any better. And your body may be failing you in some ways but it did manage to produce 2 beautiful little girls

ETA - Hollo PM me your email and I'll scan and email it to you. I can do the banana muffin recipe as well if you like. If anyone else wants the recipes too let me know

Hollo recommendations are formula until 12 months then no bottles aftr this but milk in a sippy cup is fine. I use a zucchini slice recipe on taste website that is easy as and you can add whatever vegies you want. I put zucchini carrot and corn in.

    Just emailed the recipes

Sorry Hollo, the zucchini muffins is a zucchini slice recipe so it does have egg in it - I only make it with egg yolks for Alexandra though and make ones for me with the egg whites. With an egg allergy are they allergic to yolks and whites? I don't really know much about it

bummer.. well i will have to bite the bullet and try her at some point. as far as i know they can be allergic to both but the whites are more allergic than the yolk. DD1 used to react to cakes etc with egg in it, then she progressed to being able to eat cakes etc (eggs baked in something) but hasnt had plain / straight egg as of yet!

Awesome food ideas everyone. Will definately give the zucchini muffins a go. She loves banana so will try that too. I gave her some chopped up sausage last night - it was a huge success last time, but this time it got thrown.

Junglemum - yep, fantastic playground at Plenty Valley. Always so busy!

Funkeefrog - thanks for all the food suggestions. The bread rolled up with Raffertys on it sounds like an interesting snack! Will give it all a go and see what she thinks.

Mo - Big hugs to you and hope things go back on track for you soon.

Hollo - Sucks to have an egg allergy. DD ended up with a rash after eating apples, but it wasn't anything scary, but it makes me cautious, so I know how you feel. I HATE biting the bullet!!!!!

And from me, well DD slept last night from 7.30 to 7 this morning so I'm feeling a little human today without the fuzzies!! But I'm going out without her tonight, a rareity, and she usually frets, but hopefully DH can keep her distracted enough. I need a night out!!!! Going to do a cupcake making course with the Crabapple Bakery, so should be fun!

Correlly- What a great night out, they make good cupcakes! enjoy.

I have hurt me knee at the gym and can't walk that well, so have been glued to my laptop! You must all be getting sick of me now.

Don't worry, in a little under two weeks i'll be peddling a bike in the depths of the jungle just to power the computer to send an email! Then i wont be as prolific a poster.

rofl, I can imagine you doing that Ange.

Thanks for the words ladies, they help a lot. Who knows maybe my old meds will help keep me in remission long enough to breastfeed for a bit longer.
Dr said it was possible not likely but possible.
