Hey all! I have managed to find the laptop somewhere amongst all of the boxes that are all over my house! YAY!!!

I am soooooooooooo over packing!

But our house settles tomorrow! And then we move on Thursday! YIPPEE!!!!

Mel - whereabouts are you moving to?

Karina - poor Claire! I hope she is better soon!

Rachel - Yay on Grace having her first sleep-over! We haven't managed to do that one yet - we have been out a couple of times, and left Emy with Mum, but then we end up staying at Mum's house too. Oh, and once she has started walking, you will kind of wish that she couldn't!

Sarah - Ari sounds so cute!

Richelle - Glad that you got your milk issues sorted out. I eventually figured out that Emy's feral nights were caused by her 8th tooth coming up. I never even thought of teething while it was happening though - it has been such a long time since she had the last one come up!

Speaking of teeth - Emy has chipped her front tooth - we don't have a bath in this house, so she has her baths in the laundry sink, and she tried to stand up the other day when J was bathing her, and she slipped and hit her mouth, and chipped the tooth! It made the loudest noise, and then she let out the loudest scream! Poor little thing...

We aren't having Emy's party until 12 April, because of the whole Easter thing, and then my parents have gone to New Zealand and don't get back until the 6th, and also with moving, it was just all too feral to try and get a party any earlier. Oh well, better late than never!

Better go - baby-sitting my 22 month old niece today, and the 2 of them are causing havoc!

Oh all the March bubs are just the cutest huh!!

Ali, yay for your house!! Emy's tooth should be ok so long as it's not exposing a nerve. Any sharp edges will smooth out. Joshua chipped an adult tooth a few years back and even though he's had a little work done on it, it too has smoothed out more and is even less noticable now.

Aww Karina, I hate it when bubs are sick. It's so much harder to deal with when they can't tell you how they feel or where they feel it! I hope that she is better and you feel better too.

Rachel, I had Oskar's immunistations done yesterday, how did you go? Oskar screwed up his little face then let out the loudest cry! His whole face and head went red, poor little man. At least it's all done now and the next one is only one needle my doc said...phew I say! Oh and Andy came up with a great idea as I was complaining to him that it's not fair I have to do the mean thing with needles and he said take a little bit of chocolate to give to him after his needles... well, he'd stopped crying already but could still see on his face that he was not happy and then I gave him a little bit of chocolate and he was all good and happy again! Hmmm now why didn't I think of that first?!?!?! Andy said he just remembered his doc giving them a lolly when they used to go and he doesn't remember the bad stuff...so there you go!

Richelle, that's good... maybe A2 milk would be ok for her??

Well, as stated, Oskar had his needles yesterday and is all good now. He weighed in on the doc's scales at 10.1kg (up the road it's 10/3kg.. but hey give or take right?), head 47cm and length 78cm. His head and weight are right smack bang on average but height is above - not surprising, his dad is 6' 2" or thereabout. Anyway, that's all reports from me for now.... hope everyone's doing well

Hello.....Stupid power wasn't working for 2 days so I haven't been able to get online and share our exciting news......Grace is walking!!!!!! lmao!!!! On Tuesday night she just wandered up to us like she had been walking her whole life...as if it was nothing new, she is very proud of herself! We are very proud...so far it's all good, although she sneaks around much faster and can't take an eye off her for a second or big spills occur (she had her first major spill down 2 stairs yesterday...I heard her head hit the ground....poor baby, i wanted to cry too lol).

Cass, we had Grace's immunisations done on Tuesday...she was so good...didn't cry for the first one, a little wimper for the second and then cried for the third but I gave her her dummy and her teddy and she stopped crying almost straight away, much braver than me, if I had been given 3 injections I would be a blubbering mess! lol.

Think she's teething again as had a bit of a rough night with her last night and today she has been dribbling majorly, chewing on everything, wouldn't let me brush her teeth, a bit of nappy rash and she has been grinding her teeth, eeewww it's horrible!

A bit worried about an early wake up tomorrow with day light savings ending...fingers crossed that she has a sleep in which will make her wake up on time!

Oh...there are 4 mum's in mum's group pregnant again (out of 10), that's high numbers...hope it's not catching lol!

Rachel, wooohoo for Grace walking - what a clever little girl! Hope she didnt bump her head too hard. Claire loves walking too. I cant believe how fast she can move! Now that theyre walking, theres a whole new set of challenges for us. lol.
Poooo to the power being off. Stupid weather.

Ali, poor little Emy chipping her tooth! At least its a baby tooth hey? Hope its ok.
Woohoo about your house, how exciting. Are you all unpacked?

Ok well Claire much better now, but still not 100%. Still a bit of a cold and to make it worse she is also teething. Getting her 5th and 6th teeth at the moment. She seems to get two teeeth at a time. So she's been getting lots of booby to make her feel better and some panadol if she isnt coping. Its so hard sometimes when she cant tell me where it hurts! To top off our week, DH has been seeing a specialist about his gastro issue and has had a bunch of tests done that show nothing in particular. So now the doc wants him in hospital to have a look inside him with a camera to rule out nasty things like bowel and colon cancer, so DH is, understandably, quite scared. Its a day procedure for a few hours and under a general anaesthetic. On a good note, I'm quite healthy at the moment!

We went out today to get some portraits done. Claire had a great time and thought the flash on the camera was very funny. We got some great shots and the photographer was really good at talking to Claire. She kept on coming up really close to the camera and all that could be seen in the shot was a pair of eyes. lol. We get to see them all next week so I'm looking forward to that. I think its going to be one of those times where I just cant decide what photos to get printed!

Eeeek everytime I come on here it reminds me how slack I am! I still haven't had Ari's 12mth check. We aren't decided on whether or not to go with the mmr yet, maybe delay until she is 3-4 as there has been a lot of publicity about the links to autism and as DS has been diagnoised with autism I just don't want to do anything that might trigger it later on.

Karina - hope claire is feeling better now and that your DH is OK! Great to hear I'm not the only one still feeding too, starting to get those funny looks now that she walks so much.

Ali - Would it be worth getting it checked by a dentist? I think we took DS to see a dentist when he was 1 or 2 (it was part of the health program in Maryborough at the time) Hope the move goes smoothly

Rachel - yay for Grace! Ari is forever falling over (mainly because she is trying to run everywhere)

Howdy doodys!

Well we have mostly moved in - there is still a few things over at the other house, and most of the hanging clothes are still in its cupboards, but most stuff is here, and we will be getting the rest of the stuff soon.

Haven't really even begun unpacking yet - I was feeling like death warmed up on Friday, so I didn't do much of anything then, and yesterday we went to Bunnings and spent ages there looking for various things, and at the prices of some things. I was looking for something to line the cupboards with before I put anything in them - my sister got these rolls of a non-slip mat thing from Ikea, and I was looking for something similar, but couldn't find anything. So annoying!!!

Anyway, gotta go - J just got back, and now we have to do some work.

Sarah, yeah I dont think many people know I'm "still" breastfeeding Claire. She is pretty petite so people tend to think she is younger than she actually is. I just say to people that the WHO recommends it until 2 years old, if anyone asks why she is still being BF/not on formula yet. Although no one has ever really asked, except my mum and sister. Claire is going through this stage now where she'll just come over to me and start tugging at my shirt to try to get to the booby.

Ali, we have one of those discount store/$2 shops near us, and they sell those non-slip mats in long skinny rolls for pretty cheap. Hope you are feeling better today.

Well the other day my washing machine stopped working, which is a major PITA because we use cloth nappies!!! So, last night, I HAND WASHED nappies in the bath. Just the wee ones, not the poo ones. I'm going to wait for Claire wake up from her nap then I might go over to my mums place to use their washing machine. Need to wash my and DH 's clothes for work! Our vacuum cleaner also packed it in and we bought a new one just last week, and now we probably have to go and spend a stack of money on a washing machine! Argh!!! Appliances!!!
