Hi all quick post! Anyone see my message, I'm going to be a mummy again! To 2 gorgeous golden retriver pups! So excited...

Sonia - hi againand welcome back. Good to hear Kaiden is doing well. at him wandering omg off in the shops. I think everyone has one of those moments with kids. I haven't lost Ari yet but DS does runners all the time - I am over the panic now. We got Ari one of those backpacks with a lead - orrible I know but she is just so busy and now wants to walk with us - makes it tricky with two. I prefer to keep her in my ergo so I don't have to worry about her.

Ozzy hope the scan went well. I still have those little girls things I need to send to you! On my to do list!

Cass - hope the MS eases up - must be a boy!

Karina - oh dear, poor nana! It is kind of funny though :-) It's funny how they get tese things in there heads

Well update on Ari. After the inumerable cases of broncitus and the recent bout of pneumonia they now believe she has asthma which is why she has been so susceptable to chest infections. This comes after another round of antibiotics and her coughing so much she has been vomitting at least 1-2 times a day! On the plus side though the dr was so impressed by Ari at the appointment, he said that she was very bright for her age with her understanding of her environment and her language skills. Mum is very proud :-)

PMSL Sarah.... I thought that you were pg but was also thinking.. THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! @ me. OMG though, I LOVE golden retrievers!!! They are beautiful, beautiful dogs. Re: the clothes, when you're ready hun, still have 4 1/2 months here....lol. You coming down before then??

Sonia, the spot looked like a red bite with a white centre if that makes sense... although in less than 8 hours it had changed from white to clear so kinda like a pimple type of thing. He only got the one spot total! Our house was ok in the storm thank goodness!

Had the scan today.... got to see it in 4D!! How exciting was that.... amazing the pics...it's just a whole new world. I've got the pics on the website, just go to Oskar's name and click and then you'll be there! Measuring 5 days ahead of my EDD so who knows really.

Oskar has finally decided he knows how to say bye and now constantly tells you...bye, bye, bye, bye...lol. That and wee wee are his faves I reckon. He doesn't say heaps but does lots of his little signs still and I still have to translate a lot for Andy. He knows STACKS of animal noises... weird ones too like, donkey, guinea pig, turkey, crocodile etc etc... it's fun going through them all though and he does them with a little grin.

Cass, hope your m/s is getting better hun.

Sarah - I though the same thing that u were UTD... Congrats hun hehe... Oh not good about ari... But asthma can be controlled, all three kids are astmatic, but luckily not servere...

Cass - glad to here your back, and your house wasnt damaged in the storm! those storms have been crazy! gald your ultrasound went well will go have a look at the pictures soon! oskar sounds so cute!

Thanks everyone but the morning sickness is just getting worst and lasting most days all day! I feel horrible even to the point that i have just sat on the couch crying because i feel that bad! And i have to get up and get ready for work in half an hour. Can anyone fast forward the morning sickness stage for me...

Izzy is getting to know alot of words, she talks to my mum alot on the phone! which is very cute and mum can understand alot of what she is saying! its awesome! She also knows where her body parts are. and is getting really into the shoes she loves them except for her own~!

Sarah, I meant to say that it's such a bummer they think Ari has asthma! Andy had it as a kid but grew out of it. My friend's little boy who is 3 weeks younger than Oskar, they are pretty sure he has it... his dad does and he was the same as Ari with chest infects etc. Luckily though it is one of those things which can be managed fairly effectively these days. Still not nice for you all to have to deal with though.

Cass... oh hun I feel for you so much!! I was the same this time with m/s. I would sit on the floor in the kitchen in front of the sink just crying and then calling Andy to see what time he would be coming home from work. I did end up going to the doc on my worst day - couldn't even keep water down - and he gave me an injection of maxolon which really seemed to help me and he also gave me a prescription for the tabs but I found I could manage without them after the injection anyway. It does something to the way your brain interprets it or something??? Anyway, I also used my seabands and made sure I had toast asap after getting up... unfortunately that had to wait until after Oskar's brekky...lol. to you and I seriously hope you feel better honey. At least there's one silver lining, shows all is going great guns in there!!

well my fur babies are here and the house has finally settled to sleep. It really is like having newborns as they have to go out to pee every couple of hours :-) Now i understand why people with twins wake the other up so they all feed together and play together, otherwise your up forever!

Yes apparently the pups are to help me get over my cluckiness. there are soooo many pg people around...:-( I want to be pg too... well until I read Cass post and then the whole ms thing came back to me - man I don't ever want to go back there.

Cass - you poor thing, have been there twice and it's not pretty. I second the sea sickness bands Ozzy is talking about they dulled the worst of the nausea. Gingerbeer is good - settles your stomach but also tastes the same coming back up as it went down which you will appreciate I'm sure! Hey when your going to be sick all day anyway it might as well taste less unplesant. Peppermint tea and peppermint/spearmint life savers, gingernut biscuits with real ginger pieces, water crackers, plain potato chips, coke? all good ideas, I found they worked at varying degrees across the course of my ms journey. Drink as much water as you can the night before it dilutes the concentration of hormones in your system in the morning. (apparently - did help i have to admit - i could actally get downstairs, boil the jug and make a cuppa before having to throw up :-) funnily enought the only thing that would settle my stomach with Xander was a mars bar - you can imagine how huge I got after the ms left but the mars bars remained and with ari it was potato chips.

On the asthma front can I just say THANK YOU! to whoever found the drug ventolin! Ari's coughing fits have cleared after what 2 days? I think I've given her maybe 4 goes and it has settled right down, this after 11 days on antibiotics - grrrr wish the 1st dr had figured this out.

better go sleep before the babies are up again :-)

Cass: you poor thing with the morning sickness. :hugs: for you.. make sure you try all of sarah's suggestions and see if they work.

Ozzie: Oskar must look so funny when he is saying all of his animal noises.. they are just precious arent they. Must get that on video..

    Hi Girls:
K hasnt done a pee or poo since lol. Was so exciting though.
I hope all is well and everyone is getting on top of their Xmas shopping.
I have two more pressies to go and that is it I am done. We are only buying for kids this year so that makes it a lot easier.
Kaiden has starting singing The First Noel Christmas Carol, we put on carols CD everynight when he goes to bed, its a beautiful CD with the slow soft songs not the ones like jingle bells which would excite him. He sings Noel. Noel Noel.. lol.. he is so funny. He is talking so much, it just amazes DH and I at our much these kids are able to do and understand at such a young age.
AFM: I have 15 days to wait before being able to do a PG test. .. ahhh its killing me waiting to find out if I am PG or not..

Sonia, YES I am so amazed at how much Claire can understand too. She understands so much and she can say quite a few things too. She said "what that?" the other when DH was showing her something. So cute! How cute that Kaiden sings! Claire dances. She loves Indian music - they listen to indian music at daycare.

We've done pretty much all our Christmas shopping. We got most stuff online so we wouldnt have to step foot in a ridiculously crowded shopping centre. I hate shopping centres! We actually looking at getting a new car though, we've been saving for it. Its going to be very cool to not have a crappy car anymore!

Claire, poor little munchkin, managed to get thrush. Poor thing had this horrendous nappy rash from it and it was so gross. I had to take her to the GP to find out what it was but within a day of starting to use the special cream for it, it was almost gone. But i felt so bad that the rash got so awful! It much have been so itchy and painful.

    Hey all, how is everyone?
I'm having another bad couple of days with morning sickness... I've tried everything except the seaband (just read your post suggesting it again cass) i'm sitting here in tears again, becuase i can hardly move, my stomach feels so horrible, and i feel just useless - I couldn't go to work last night because i was too sick, Tim is doing most of the household chores, becuase its worst when i move, and izzy has been an angel just playing in the loungeroom and comming up to me asking "u k mum?" " me luv u" "oh orry" it's so cute... But i just really feel useless...

I have the doctors today hoping he has some magical cure - if not i'll try the sea bands...

    Hope everyone else is well...

    Hey girls,
I went to the doctor, He sent my referral off to the hospital... Blood pressure was 96/54, weight was 48kg (I've lost weight due to being sick) he's not sure about the whole risk factor with uterus i'll have to ask my ob about that, and he's put me on maxillion tablets for the nausea and vomiting, they work which is a start but only for 3-4 hours, and make me quite tired! But They WORK!!!

except quite funny yesterday, i had to go down the road to get sticky tape, go to the kindy, and send presents off, i locked up all the house and went out to the car (izzy walking behind) and started dry reaching everywhere so had to run picck up izzy unlock the house and run into the tiolet to throw up! i then had a drink and thought that i was okay, and will try again, did the same think locked up went to unlock the car and started dryreaching again! ! I eventually got out of the house 30mins later... maybe i should stay home today lol!

Izzy is getting bigger and more independent every day, she loves the christmas tree, and has spotted that we have put christmas presents under it, shes going look pretty pretty look mum! slowly getting closer so she can touch lol! She loves Gecko's and snails just loves sitting there watching them or looking at there pictures in her books...

And a very sad moment for mummy she starts kindy next year! At the end of January, 1day a week... the kindy said i can call up as many times i like and even stay for a few hours if i don't feel comfortable leaving her... which I know she'll be fine but just so worrying!!! And she has to go becuase i have uni, one of my classes is only doing a lecture on tuesdays at 8am and tim works that day and has the wednesday off for me to go to my other classes...

Oh no better go, izzy has left me a stinker in her pants, and is telling me poo mum poo mum! Hehe i dont need to be told i can smell!

Oh no Cass you poor thing sounds like you have to carry a paper bag with you everywhere. i want to put Kaiden into kindy next year for half a day its called occasional care here in perht not sure if its the same thing over there. I want him to get used to not having me around, as when i am working he is with my mum and DH mum the other day then at playgroup i am there so he is not used to me leaving. When i used to take him to the creche at the gym he would scream and scream i felt so bad that i stopped taking him there he just didnt like it. but now he is older i think i will give it another go, he has to get used to not have me around al lthe time especially when he does start kindy, preschool etc. its not that far away, these years are flying by.

    to everyone

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to you all..

Cass - sorry to hear your having a hard time with ms> You can get bags from the hospital (maybe a pharmacy too) I called them vomit bags but they have a much more discrete name emphesis bags or something. Anyway, they fold up quite nicely for storing in the car, handbag etc and when used you just twist and tuck and they seal until you can dispose of them I used them A LOT! Considering I was still hurling on my due date - blah. Anyway I'm sure you will be feeling better soon, how many weeks til the magic number?

Wishing everyone a Merry Xmas! Any of you on Facebook? We put all our photos on there just search for sarah@naturalparent.com.au and you will find us.

Sonia all the best for ttc in the new year

Cassie how funny is that photo of Izzy with Santa! I laughed when I saw it. She really didnt like him by the looks of it.. but the boys dont seem too worried though.

Very exciting - my SIL is in labour and has been since about 5am. So, hopefully there will be a new baby boy today sometime. Other SIL is due in 3-4 weeks. So, Claire is getting two new cousins very shortly, so she'll have 6 cousins on that side of the family. She wont be the baby cousin any more.

I'm taking a day off work today. I work in the city and I suspect its going to get a bit stupid early on in the city with everyone coming in for NYE celebrations and all. Also, they close off half the roads and the harbour, so its tricky for the buses and ferries. So I decided to just bypass all that and spend the day at home with Claire and DH. Its a lvoely day - I want to take Claire swimming - just have to wait for her to wake up!

Oh and more very exciting news. I bought a new car a couple weeks ago. We picked it up just before Christmas. I've been saving for it so I'm really excited to finally have it. We got a good deal too because they offered no on road costs (saved almost $4000) and we traded in our old car. Claire always points at it and says "car" and she has already vomited in it twice so its quickly losing the new car smell.

Claire is really growing up so fast. She;s not a baby anymore, she is a little girl. She sits at her table on her little chair, and eats her dinner with a fork. Its so cute! She's also using her toilet frequently . Its just a little potty, but we call it a toilet because I dont like the sound of "potty". She goes into the bathroom and starts taking off her pants and nappy and then she sits down, does her business, and then stands up and has a look at what she has done. She gets so excited when she has done something and she points at it and says "poo" or "weewee" and then claps. She's getting so clever!

Hope everyone is well and has a lovely new years.
