Elissa - I would have done exactly as you did. And if my child was being a little brat like that - and I didn't know - I wouldn't have an issue with someone telling Shaun off. But the difference between you and me - and that kids mum - is that we do CARE and we teach our kids respect and discipline.

We got an offer on our house for $300k last night - but we knocked it back. Yariv said minimum $310k for an offer. We have to pay $9000 in RE fee's - so we want to come away with $300 in our hand. Real Estate was originally suggesting we would get around $330-$340k... but then he was pushing for us to accept $300 last night. They are so full of sh*t... don't know what to believe. Another home in the area sold for $321k (through them) and it was a basic, unrenovated 3br home without a family room... a 5 minute walk from our home. We have a renovated bathroom & huge kitchen, newly polished floorboards, and a huge family room too.

I was thinking about it last night - and thought... if we didn't sell it... (which I'm still sure we will)... then we would cope with 3 bedrooms - and if possible - we might extend upwards... put another 3 bedrooms up there! Not much fun with two kids though. We'll see what happens.
