... Been awhile I know... Sadly we have two deaths in the family & I haven't coped well with them both.
One of which was my daughter Cendrine's Great-Gran (DP's Gran) whom would have turned 85 this Friday. Spent a lot of time with her leading up to the weeks she was suddenly ill & then peacefully slipped away (She was the one family member that I felt the most accepted of in DP's family & became very close to over the past 6yrs), my being 10yrs younger than DP had obviously been a problem with some of his family members, being his Father mostly)
Anyway, I wanted to pop by & say a big " HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY " to ARCHIE for yesterday... And a happy birthday to any May bubba's that I might have missed - A big belated birthday hug to u all
My daughter CENDRINE turned the big " 2 " TODAY
She had a ' Bob the Builder ' birthday party this past Saturday (yep, she's Bob the builder mad), it was a blast. We had her 3 closest friends & their parents at the party. She was dressed like a construction worker (or like Bob himself), so adorable. She was so excited
Sadly she hasn't had a single relative visit her since her 1st birthday party & none made it to her 2nd birthday party. DP & I have come to realise obviously they have ALL taken it for granted our traveling to visit them all on a regular basis. So, the rest of this year we are holding back a bit on the visits.
It just breaks my heart that Cendrine hasn't had any relatives care to visit her in a year. Just be lovely if someone came once a year just so she can show them her room & toys.
... Anyway, my how the time has flown in these last two years !! Cendrine is doing super & makes every minute of my day just so amusing, she is so funny & energetic & also very creative.
Well, yes the toddler age isn't amusing within itself BUT I hang in there just like the rest of US (gladly I have all my hair still, LOL).
Once again take care ALL, sadly I haven't been up to popping in like I thought I was going to ... So, I hope it's okay with you all that I might pop in once in a blue moon & check up on all these gorgeous MAY 2006 Babies here !!!!
