Hello lovely ladies!

Its my study day and for once I don't have an assignment due tomorrow!

So I have just down a thorough and proper clean of the house and all of the washing - in between watching Dr Phil and Oprah

Ellissa Perhaps it is an age thing. Some people do interact better with children when they are older, when they can understand what is being said, the rules of games etc etc. I hope you get Archie's sleeping sorted soon. It must be hard for you and Jay being separated like that. I haven't been around so I'm not sure what you've tried... but have you tried sleeping in the same room but separately, getting further and further apart each night until you're not in the room any more?

Tania What Wiggles are in Melbourne? Is is a concert or something else? We are heading to Melbourne mid June and I can't wait. We are doing Melbourne Zoo as well and I can't wait to hit the DFO and spend up big YAY!!! I'm taking an empty suitcase with me

Sara OMG I can't believe its only 3 months till Colby is one!!! WOW! I wouldn't be comfortable talking to uni students I don't think... BUT on the flipside I had a student midwife and she was fantastic... if not better then the normal midwife. I find sometimes that people who are training are often willing to go that extra step, make that extra effort and are up to date with training. They will also often confer with their teachers/those above so its not often they can make huge life altering mistakes IYKWIM. Tough choice!

Alright I suppose I better get a start on that homework now the house is sparkling clean

Em's Dad is picking him up tonight so its gonna be quiet around here till 8 tonight which kinda sucks. Will go to the gym though as well to pass some time and lower that body fat

Hi all,

Just got back from Mackay this arvo after being laid up for a day and having to go to the physio. I dared it and didn't take the portacot for Lachlan, so he slept with me. He woke at midnight and I turned over to him and there goes my back and neck. I was in so much pain. Still not great but if I was like I was yesterday there is no way I could have driven home. So def on the improve and going to another physio here 2morrow lunch time.

Anyway gyno appt went really well. Bubs head is down. He is weighing 2.066kgs at 31 weeks 5 days, appears this gyno has gone back to my LMP date of 3rd July, not what the scan said at 18 weeks, so I guess it is only a matter of a day anyway.

My caesar has been booked for 27th June. So only 7 weeks to go OMG!!!!

I got to see my boy on the u/s screen and all of his measurements are measuring 2-3 weeks ahead. But aleast this time he was only sitting at the 64th Percentile, not the 96th as he was at 28 weeks. As the gyno said that u/s was done with different equip, so he will only compare with his measurements from his machine from now on.

Sorry no personals, will be MIA for the next few days as we are continuing our move of house.

nat - i watched Oprah today too, such a housewife thing to do! I have tried a heck o a lot of things to try and sort out the sleep dramas, and a few people have suggested what you have suggested and it does make sense, but its not something that will work for me, i am too impatient to do things so gradually, i am an all or nothing gal, strange but thats me. So far so good tonight, put him in his bed 20 mins ago, he sooked at first but haven't heard anything for 10 mins, fingers crossed....Hope you enjoy your quiet time, good girl for going to the gym.

sheree - oh your poor back, just what you need in the last tri! How did Lachlan sleep? Great news about healthy little Riley in there, wow 7 weeks til we get to see him in the flesh, i can't wait to see Lachlan's little bro! GL with the house move, we are helping my mum move this weekend, she hasn't moved in 10 years, so im thinking there will be a lot of junk to be sorted through.

Put Arch in his bed 25 mins ago, so far so good, he put on this fake grizzle as i left him but i ignored it and he hasn't made a sound since......please please let this be the end of our sleeps dramas, 2 years is enough already!

Sheree - Oh hun....i hate stiff necks! Glad to hear that your little man is doing well. So i see your going for a repeat c-sect....You did'nt want to try for a VBAC??? Not that it matters, just thought I would ask. I can't believe you have only 7 weeks to go! Sheesh time really does fly does'nt it!

Elissa - Its seems our sleep dramas might be panning out aswell. Briley slept through from 10pm lastnight to 6.30am thismorning. We put her down at about 7.30pm and then she woke up at 10pm but went back to her bed and straight back to sleep which was great! No fight either! Your a good wifey letting Jay go to Melbourne on a bucks night!!! Everytime i hear about a bucknight i think of the movie Very Bad Things!!! LOL! Not that I am saying thats what Jay would get up too but its a funny movie!

Lorelle - Sorry to hear about your family. Keep your chin up. Very disappointing to hear about your family not showing up for Cendrines birthday though. Esp a her 2'nd birthday! Ahhh well there loss not yours hey.

Nat - Feel like coming up here and cleaning my house till its sparkling??!?!?!?! I wish i could afford a cleaner cause my windows REALLY need to be cleaned! Glad to hear you are on top of your studies. I am getting there. How is Em going???

Tania - How are you going hun??? How is Jayden going??? I can't believe you've only got 10 weeks to go aswell! How are you going with names???? Nope Dr has'nt speculated what she thinks the dimpling might be from. I went and had a heap of bloods done today so that might be able to tell something not sure. I have wondered if the breasfeeding could be affecting the size of the dimple. It was there before pregnancy but not as big and breastfeeding does affect the size and shape of your breasts. Who knows. Hopefully its nothing bad.

Kim - I am so sorry that you are going through this awful experience honey. I wish I was there to give you big long hug and a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. Nothing I can say will take away the pain and anger you feeling right now but I will be here to talk if you ever need to. I can't believe i am about to say this but....Have you been in and spoken to some of the women in the miscarriage forums??? Talking with women who are, or who have been, in the same situation can help so much. Again, I am always here if you need to chat hun.

Hope you had a great days ladies!

Today was pretty good. Met the mums from Belly Belly and they were very nice! I felt a bit flustered trying to chase Briley around Lollipops and take care of Colby aswell (who was trying to climb out of the damn pram - little monkey!!). Totally remembered why I don't like going to Lollipops! Girls had a blast though.

I went and got my bloods taken today aswell. Go and get the results on Monday. Kinda looking forward to finding out what is wrong with me. Even though whats in your blood does'nt compare to whats going on in your head!

I am not sure what I am going to do for Briley's birthday. I have'nt planned a party or nothing. I really wanted to give her a bigish 2'nd birthday as she is old enough to understand it all now. But its less than a month away. I can't very well go and plan a party which is less than a month away. Might just have to be a family do this year with the big one next year.

Well best finish this assignment thats due tomorrow!

Just popped back in quickly before going to bed, totally exhausted and need to prepare myself for the next few days ahead, but just to answer your question Sara - I have no choice but to go for a repeat ceasar as we have to have a date so we can organise our staff and they can also organise their parents to look after their children, so unfortunately that is the nature of the beast now we own a business... However if he comes early I have discussed with my gyno that I would like to try a VBAC. So I guess it is in the lap of the gods now. Unlikely he will come early I have been told seeing as Lachlan didn't!

I just finished icing the cupcakes for daycare, filled the butterfly beanbag for missy's early morning drink, wrapped her cabbage patch kid and her books and am ready.

My baby girl ain't a baby no more.
Time to think of another one maybe. Will need to speak with DH about that!

Anyway, have a great day everyone....

sara - glad Briley slept well last night. Jay isn't your run of the mill guy, he would rather have a few scotches and go see a musical than tghan get feral in the bush with his mates, so i am lucky in that way. I think the main aim of this bucks weekend is to drink lots of interesting different beers from around the globe and play lots of poker at the casino. I wouldn't worry about not having a real party for Briley this year, we just had a family BBQ, i reckon next year i'll so all out with the party food and games though.

leanne - OH how exciting that you are thinking of another bub!!

lorelle - i agree, Archie will always be my baby boy!

Spoke to Jay on the phone this morning, they have had a ball in MElbourne. Last night they met Geoffery Rush and his wife, they happened to walk their dog past the pub Jay and his mate were at, they asked to have a photo with him but he told them he'd perfer not to. I am SO jealous, i think Gordon Ramsay is sexy, well Jay was saying that tey were at the casino playing poker last night and there was this arrogant guy playing at the same table as them, he looked just like Gordon Ramsay, same big wrinkles in his forhead and all, and he had the accent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW, i would have passed out i reckon LOL

Thank you all for your b'day wishes for my baby girl. (though if Katy heard me call her a baby girl she would say 'no baby.... big girl'.)

My little party animal is finally in bed.

What a wonderful day she has had.

Spoilt all day at daycare she was.

Katy got first choice of the cupcakes and sat on the teacher's lap and had her hair done.

Then was chased by boys most of the afternoon (little floosie she is!!!)

We had a nice chinese dinner at home. She ate all of my prawns and scallops from my seafood combination. grr

Then it was bathtime and present opening.

We read a few books and then mummy fell asleep on the floor next to her bed while waiting for her to go to sleep.

Boy the life of a 2 year old is busy!!!!

Tomorrow we are going shopping, making an elmo cake, entertaining some friends and family in the night.

I think I will need mother's day to rest on Sunday. Though........... my mother is coming for lunch so not expecting too much relaxing.

Kim, how was Darcy's day??? I was thinking today about how I met you and Cam in the hall at the hospital two years ago this evening. Boy, two years. Still spinning me out. Please PM your current home addy. I have lost it.

leanne - Sounds like Katy had a wonderful day! Its good to read an essay from you, your posts are usually short and sweet. LOL at Katy being a floosie at cc, so cute that she insists that she is a big girl not a baby.

kim - hope you enjoyed Darcys birthday with her

Have ben reading a lot of info about homeschooling and the best ways that children learn the most. Put some of what i read into practise this morning. Took Arch to one of the sink holes in town. There are heaps of steps to walk down to get to the sink hole. He learnt about how when it rains the water goes into the sink hole. We practised counting by counting the steps as we walked back up them. We learnt colours as we smelt the beautiful roses. He learnt the different parts to a tree as he tried to climb it, the trunk, roots, branches and "yots and yots of yeaves" LOL. It really is amazing how much a child can learn when you follow their interests and feed thier inquisitive minds.
