Ash - that's terrible how Scott is behaving. I think I'd rip Rein's throat out if he tried to keep Izzy away from me. Good luck getting it all formalised - at least if you've got a court order you can get the police involved if you need to, not that that is ever the way you want to go. I'm really so sorry about the pregnancy - never good but timing makes these things so much harder. And you're right, it doesn't matter how early it is or how much it may be "for the best", they still hit you hard. I hope you're feeling a bit better and Dave is being lovely and supportive. You poor love. Hopefully your life will settle down very soon.

Dan - that sounds like a great idea for Livvy's birthday. I'm determined to have a party for Izzy on her birthday, but obviously Ned could throw that plan out the window!! My Mum has said she will make Izzy's cake if I end up "indisposed" and even if I have to have her party in the hospital, she is going to have it on her birthday! I'm so annoyed with all the people who keep saying to me that I shouldn't bother, she'll never know etc. I'll know, and I don't want in years to come to be telling my beautiful girl that we were just too busy to honour her important day! I am soooo jealous of your cold weather. We had a bit of a cooler patch but its now back up to mid 30s again. There goes the electricity bill . . . Have a great time shopping - I can't wait until its cool enough for Iz to start wearing her new winter wardrobe!

Lis - yep, she's off and running (almost does run when she's still furniture cruising). I watched her the other day stand up while holding a giraffe in one hand and a clown in the other, walk about 2 metres across the room, bash the giraffe and clown together, turn around and then sit herself down. Amazing. Its all just happened so quickly. I think a birthday party in the park for Elena's birthday sounds lovely, especially if you have a big family. Crazy to try and cram everyone in at home, especially if you get lucky with a lovely day. Been meaning to ask you - do you pronouce Elena's name "Elayna" or "Ell enna"?

No luck with names for Ned yet. DH is STILL saying its too far away to start discussing (he'll probably still be saying that in the labour ward!) so I have a fairly long list but nothing is really jumping out at me and sticking - or at least nothing that DH hasn't already said "oh that's awful/pretentious/old fashioned" or something else equally flattering. Dan - I ended up getting two prams (oop!) I initially put the double mountain buggy on layby but then decided I really couldn't justify the ridiculous price (about $1,500 once you get all the bits). So I've bought the Valco side by side while I'll use for proper walks and a babylove tandem which is really light and folds up small, which I'll keep in the car for shopping. Even buying two prams we still end up about $500 in front - crazy! I wish I liked the P&T but I just can't

    HI everyone!

Ash - I'm so sorry to hear you are going through so much right now... I'm so sorry about the pregnancy and then on top of that it sounds like Scott is begin an absolute tw@t.... I'm sure you have had lots of legal advice etc... but keep a diary if you can of everything he says and does hun, when he cahnges his mind about stuff etc... Makes it easier for you as well to remember what has happened. I hope you get everything sorted for yur and Blakey's sake really soon. Don't stress about Blake talking either hun, Izzy only just started babbling when she was nearly 10 mths and her vocab consists of babababababa, lalalalalalalala, blowing raspberries and the occasional dadadadada - but that isn't in reply to us! We will say - "say dadadada" and she looks at us and says "lalalalaala!" It will all come in good time - Blake is so active as is Izzy so they sound like they are more interested in exploring than talking!

Lulu - you will work out the name soon enough, but that is hilarious that DH thinks that it's still ages away! Methinks the man is in denial! It's only 4 weeks or so isn't it! How exciting for you hun - you will do a brilliant job with your two gorgeous girls and cope just like you have with Izzy! She is so clever walking around! Izzy has to hold onto something with one hand still which I'm forever thankful for and I'm not encouraging her to let go at all!! hahaha!
Oh the pram dilemma - I sold my strider this week on ebay and now need to decide what to get - I LOVE that my Maclaren is so narrow and really my only options for narrow is the P & T's I know you LOVE it too! Heehee! but I really think it will do us fine plus I want Izzy to be able to nap lying down too mmmmm too many choices! I will use the stroller and thebaby bjorn in the first few months alot anyway when bub is tiny and then use the pram later on.

Dan - Yay for LIvvy's walking - don't you think they look so little and cute to be walking! I look at her and think - why aren't you lying on your back kicking or something??? I'm on holidays right now so work is GREAT!! Actually work is ok - but I really don't have much motivation right now because I'm feeling so cr@ppy - I'm hoping this m/s will ease off a bit in the next week or so! I'm thinking about Izzy's party too - we will have about 30-40 people and it will be her dedication too, so we contemplated a park, but I'm scared it will be freezing, I remember the day we came home from hospital was about 14 degrees.. so we might just have it here or at my sisters place which is alot bigger...

Sangie - yep I have a baby bump that is combined with a chocolate icecream bump, maccas bump and a I had a baby 10 mths ago bump! \Seriously though - I do have a little one now that is actually baby and not just the hideous amount of weight that I have put on.. these tummy muscles are just not as strong as they used to be! I know its ages away but I am determined to lose it all once this bub comes! Good luck planning Elena's party- do you know which park you will go to??

SHell - You have been quiet for a few days - hope you are ok hun

    everyone else I've missed!

Thanks all for you support - I think I'm finally realising that I am going to have this baby! 13 weeks today -whoo hooooooo! TIme to start going shopping soon I think although I won't need much really, I'm thinking of borrowing a friends cot, hiring a capsule, getting the p & t's pram, and getting a baby bjorn ( we have the Ryco one that kills my shoulders) and thats about it for bigger items!

RIght I'd better go and get myself organised for the day! Have a great weekend everyone!

    Hi all!!

Thank you Tan for organising the KKs!! Yes yes!! Would love to be a part of it so just let me know the details

Hope everyone is going well. Me - I'm in denial about Mia turning one soon. So much so I even tried t squeeze her into 000 jeans that really did not fit her because I refused to believe she'd grown so much that she didn't fit into them anymore... loser! LOL

I'm going great. Officially resigned from my old job, so I'm a full-flegded photographer now full time now. Absolutely LOVING IT - have a ball, it's tiring, but fun. Especially with looking after Mia full time and then doing that in any other spare moment I have, it does impact on our family time altogether though. I'm hoping I can get a bit more organised though so it doesn't have to.

Happy Easter to all the bubs! First Easter for all of them I think!!

    Take care,

    xx

Just a quick one - want to get in before Tan goes shopping today maybe! Try the ergos before you get a baby bjorn. I got the BB before Izzy was born and then got an ergo when I fell pregnant again because it was soooooooooooo much more comfortable. They can go on your front or back, which is really cool (Izzy loves it on my back - or at least used to when it fit around me to do up!), and you can get an insert so your new little gumnut can go in from birth. They're on sale now on the greenkids website for about $140 odd I think plus the insert - makes them not much different in price to the ergo.

Thanks Lulu for the heads up - didn't even think about the Ergo so will definately check them out! No shopping for me today, it's too cold and showery - Iz and I have been having a couch day playing all snuggled up with the heater on!

I just got an email from my MIL about Al's grandpa who has been unwell(lung cancer and emphysema) for a while now but is really going downhill He is living with my IL's but has been in and out of hospital with breathing problems since he has been there for the last 6 weeks. This time in hospital the Dr's have asked my FIL and his brother about reviving Pa, which they have said no and the hospital said they wouldn't anyway (why ask if the answer is no anyway??) so things are a bit sad here.... Al knows it's serious every day but doesn't really talk about it, and he is at soccer today so I just opened the email and am still crying... He is 76 so has lived a long great life but still, it's so sad knowing that he more than likely won't see our bubby born, and may not at this stage even make it to Izzy's 1st birthday. Sorry to be such a downer but just need to get it all out....
Ok off to see if I can stem this tide of crying and think positive thoughts....

Oh Tan, That is terrible news. I lost my Grandma when I was 15wks preg with Angus, and it was so hard cause I really wanted her to meet bubs. Does he live close-by?? Will you get to see him?? Thinking of you and Al and Izzy xxx On a positve shopping note, I have an ergo and love it. Also check out mei tais (spelling) there is a website, maybe google catbirdbaby and you will find it!! I also had a hug a bub which was great with a newborn, but was a bit hot up here once winter was ove. I sold it and then got the ergo. Have to say it is really easy to use, but the only drawback is they can only face you not outwards iykwim. But I dont think I would bother with the baby bjorn imo!!!

Ash, I am really sorry to hear of your loss. And as for Scott, what a toss. I can't believe men sometimes, he is only hurting his relationship with Blake by thinking of himself. Good to hear you are well and your new man sounds like a keeper!!!

Kristen, good to hear that all is well with your photography!!! I think we are all in denial - where has the last year gone!!!!

Lulu, sounds like you did well in the pram dept!!!! Why don't you like the p&t's? They have good bits and bad I spose, and a pram is such a personal thing hey!

Hello to everyone else!!! I am in a hurry so will have to cut it off there and do part 2 of personals later!!!!

The kids and I are home alone as DH has gone away for a fishing comp. SO will be pretty quiet round here tonight!!! thanks for missing me too by the way Tan I have had so much on my mind I have been too busy to sit down and type! DH is thinking about changing jobs interstate perhaps, so I am a bit anxious about leaving all my family. the company he works for has been sold so his job and all the bonuses etc may be cut, so I am a bit stressy about everything. At least i know I can go work if need be to help with the bills etc, but all the same I am a bit worried about what the next few weeks might bring. Anyway, I really better go cook dinner for my angels!!! BBL!! No hubby so I can sit on the comp and do what I want all night!!!

Tan I'm so sorry to hear about Al's grandpa, thinking of you guys during this hard time. We lost 2 grandma's last year (both on DH's side) and it was absolutely heartbreaking so I know what you guys are going through. On a happier note, I bet that your 'bump' looks gorgeous! We are seriously re-thinking the 1st birthday in the park idea after the week we are having! For those non-melbournites, it is ***** freezing and raining here!!!

Lulu it is said 'Ell enna', exactly how it is written although it can be said 'El ayna' which I think is more common in europe. I was worried that people would pronounce her name wrong but so far everybody has got it right. I guess the big test will be when she goes to school though. I find it so funny that your DH thinks there is no need to decide on Ned's name yet. Maybe a huge whack to his head will make him realise that she will be here very soon lol! Anyway not to worry, I'm sure you guys will come up with the perfect name for your princess.

Ash hun I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Stoopid Scott giving you a hard time is the last thing you need. Just makes you realise how much better off you are now hey?? Anyway sending you some super squishy hugs and I hope that things settle down for you guys soon.

Shell sorry you are having some money stresses but I'm sure it will all work itself out. Where are you thinking of moving?

Hi Kristen, yay on resigning!! I had to laugh about still trying on 000 clothes. I wish Ellie could still wear some of those clothes, they are so cute and some of them barely got worn as she grew so fast!

Dan yay for shopping for winter clothes! We have recently done the same thing as the weather has gotten so cold. I couldn't resist some cute little tracksuits, so cute! And OMG I bought more than a few hoodies for El, could not resist

Ok that is as far back as I can read tonight, sorry if I missed anyone. I'm so tired, I have a cold and feeling a bit miserable. Hope everyone is well, catch ya's all later!
