Yeah where is the news from Tan?

Danni I commenced operation express last night with very little success. it is the first time I cried since Noah was born. 1 hour produced 10ml.

I have a poo question, Noahs poos are very watery with mustard coloured micro pebbles but sometimes there is more sometimes there is less, this started yesterday. He isn't running a temp or anything though.

A whole new bag of worries once the munchkins are out!

I would have rather had a vag w/ epi than a c/s anyday. I want to have 4 kids though and now I can only have 3

I will keep on trying to pump if I can be bothered, my bb hurt a bit so I might give it a rest for a few days. The poos are starting to thicken up again thank god, I was starting to think the worst.

Noah is sucking his thumb right now, it is so cute! Well my scar is hurting like nothing else so I might put my feet up and see if that helps. I can't be stopped with cleaning and I think it is doing a number on me.

And Happy one week Noah. Oh and Sarah STOP being a compulsive cleaner it isn't going to do you any good!!!

Lee how did the pixie photos go?? I am going to get Isobella's done soon too, maybe at the end of the week or the beginning of the next one.

    Dan how is Olivia going?

Alex how is it having your little man Toby at home?

Ashlee I wouldn't have said Isobella was small with a big head - LOL I would have just said she was big all over - At 4.3kgs.
We had our birthing class reunion on Saturday. It was fantastic to see everyones bubbas; but the oldest one in the class (her name was Tahlia) and she was born at 2.28kgs 6 weeks ago and my Isobella was the youngest at 2 weeks old and twice her size!!! I have put the photo in Isobella's web site and some others if you want to have a squiz

Hi girls, Noah has been sleeping for the last hour and I figure I have another 20 mins before he wants his next feed, maybe I typed too soon Everything is going well, he has a healthy appetite and today I started writing down the schedual today and he is feeding every 1 1/2 hours or more frequently like 5 mins every 15mins. Eek I did speak too soon. My nipples just seem to get more and more sore The funniest thing today is I let my dog in to give her a bath and when I picked her up my let down refllex went into action. Just goes to show how bonded I am with my dog.

I saved all the info of us May Mummies into a word doc so I can have a read at some stage and get to know the girls who were not in the same belly buddies thread. I can't wait to have a moment to catch up, I will try for later on tonight. Noah just finished his feed and promptly soiled his nappy so I better change it then get dinner started. Hope everyone is enjoying their babymoons as much as I am!!!

sarah: noah is feeding too frequently and youre gunna get worn out! Are you still expressing?

I have found that Mason is NEVER satisfied from breast feeding alone, he always needs a bottle afterwards as a top up, or a full bottle.

Danni, I am trying out feeding on demand and seeing how it works, it seems to be working well in the fact he never cries unless getting a nappie change or undressed but it is time consuming. My only concern atm is that he may not be getting enough hindmilk. I will be calling the ABA and getting advice from them in the next couple of days when I work out the pattern. There he goes doing the tongue movements again letting me know he wants the boob, it has only been 10 mins, I will try to distract him first. Oh the fun being a glorified milk machine

apparently it is now claimed that there is no such thing as hind milk and that it is all good for bubs. However I reckon my beginning is much different than the end.

Give them a ring and see what they say babe....but dont wear yourself out

    Hi there mummies,

With dinner done and Olivia sleeping soundly I thought I'd pop on and catch up with everyone.

Tan - Hope you're enjoying your little girl and recovery quickly. Can't wait to see a photo.

Danni - You're little man is growing so quickly I can't believe it. It's fantastic to hear that your milk is back. Aren't our bodies amazing?

Sarah - Sorry to hear your nipples are sore. After each feed I rub hindmilk into each nipple and let them air dry. It seems to help me alot. Something to try maybe. It's a great idea to call the ABA. I visited a lacation consult last Thursday (the best thing I've done) and will visit her every week until I'm comfortable enough to stop. I agree with the others, don't worry so much about the housework. My house is a complete pigsty and we have to move this weekend .

Lee - Hope Baden's feeding is all sorted out for you and that you are loving being a mum. I love checking out your website for photos.

Kelly - Welcome home gorgeous. Hope you are recovering well and you and Lukas are settling in beautifully to home. Can't wait to see some photos.

Mel - You sound like you are absolutely loving being a mum and eveything is going well. I hope it is for you two. How's your gorgous girl? Here photo is gorgeous. She is so alert. Olivia sleeps so much that we are still waiting for the have those gorgeous awake periods.

Ashlee - Your little man seems to growing quickly to after this early arrival into the world. How long was he in the nursery for?

Alex - Well how amazing was it picking up your little man today? Can't wait to see some photos.

Olivia, Dave and I are going along really well. She sleeps for anything up to 5 hours at a time, wakes up for a feed and goes back to sleep. She has regained the weight she lost in the first few days. Our breast feeding is going good NOW. I have to use a nipple shield or she has no hope at all of attaching and express after each feed. It is working well.
This week is going to be chaos. We are moving on Saturday, haven't packed a single thing and our house is a pigsty. Tomorrow is the the start of us cleaning and packing. Dave heads back to work on Monday so after our feral weekend and not having his help I'm unsure how I'm going to go without him here to help. I think that is going to be a bigger shock to the system than coming home.

Well I'm off to have some ice-cream and head off to bed when CSI finishes.

    Catch up soon,

    Luv Dan.
