No all was fine from what they could see

What i cant understand is... if bub was correct measurements how could s/he be small?? haha It doesnt make sence to me! But ah well..at least i think i know the gender...90% is a fairly high rate to just be a guess and im very happy with that!

Think Chels is tryin to crawl... puts her hands out and moves forward then brings her knees up....

We still have the sniffles and coughs. Ella's appetite is up and down but slept through last night and having loooonng day naps. Poor little immune system must be getting knocked around. GP was not very concerned and only suggested panadol and fess so it cant be very serious.

DH looks like he's got the cold too. I'm feeling a bit better and hopefully my antibodies will pass onto Ella.

Kim - can you get friends to help you clean? reward them with beer and BBQ? I would be too exhausted to do it on my own.

AJP - How fun - swimming classes! we're waiting till it gets warmer to do it.

Meredith - good to see you're back. Ella's also sitting well...i wonder what's next. She's not keen on tummy time at all. How do they start crawling? from tummy time? Ella will sit and lean forward to reach for things. I can see this turning into a crawling position.

*ETA did you do a final inspection the week before settlement?
when we moved into our current house, we rocked up just after settlemnt time,around, 1pm to find the owner still HADN"T moved out!!!!!! not happy jan!!!!!!

The chick only moved out the day of settlement (thats being 1230pm yesterday) her truck never arrived until 1pm....and we got the keys at 4pm. As it was we gave her extended settlement and she still had the hide to wait til the day to move and then NOT CLEAN


As if i dont have other things to worry about... not to mention.. packing here to move 7am Saturday morning!!

AJP how did the swimming lessons go?
I cant believe how quickly evie is mastering this 'starting to crawl' business. On a note: having major issues putting her down for naps again. it's driving me nuts and i try so hard not to get angry but its just so frustrating. she doesnt want to go to sleep on her own she wants to be cuddled if not, then fed. ive been trying now for ages to get her to sleep and in the end she wiggled around so much i put her back in her cot and she looked like she might go to sleep then just rolled over and smiled at me and now she's on all fours pushing herself around the cot. i dont know if i should just leave her if shes happy or what. is this a growing related thing do you think? what does wonder weeks say?

Chelsea just went down for a nap cos she was tired... was there bout 3 mins all quite... so i walked away.... 5 mins later she was screaming, but i ignored it... and now she is fast asleep. She is getting much better at day sleeps... good girl for her carer...but at home we have a lil trouble.

ANN and TARA swiumming was great fun, lots of singing and repetious(sp) movements,
ANN the centre is sooooo hot and humid they dont get cold!!!

TARA cant help with the sleeps but like you said i'd leave her if she's happy, let her go and see if she puts herslef to sleep

but shes still going! now shes crying and i am sooooooo frustrated! i try not to get mad at her but im sure she can sense it. i just read an article 'the con of controlled crying' and it makes me even more reluctant to leave her cry! ohhhh the guilt and frustration!!!!

Hi all...Aston had is immunisations today and I had to hold him...I was so sad...and he was not a happy boy... he is weighing at 8.45kg, and 69cm. so he is growing well and healthy...asked the doc about the whole food thing, and she said to leave the farex and move onto something else. She wasn't all that helpful actually...but I will persist...tomorrow...I just hope he sleeps better tonight, had another shocker last night.

I think your having another girl Kim...lol.

Hi meredith, Aston is sitting up by himself now as well, and leaning forward to get things. how quick is it that they go from wobble to sitting upright and having their balance sorted!

Evies in bed for the night. Quite a bit of crying but i resisted feeding or cuddling to sleep. I actually timed how often I went in. like, i settled her then said to myself, right i'll go back after 3 minutes...i cant believe how long it feels! then i realised i must be going in every 30seconds every other day!!!
immunisations on friday - great - another thing for me to feel guilty about!
i'm going to have a beer...have a good night everyone

Emelia had her needles today too! she went really well and DP came this time, so i made him hold her! she started saying mum mum and nan nan yesterday, so cute !!! Daddy aint to impressed!!

Kim - Sorry to hear about the silly lady leaving the house messy i hope karma bits her in the a$$!!!! goodluck with the move.

i so wanna know if its a boy or girl lol im no good with secrets!!!

Thanks Tara, she looks so much like me in that pic when i was that age!!

just after dinner tonight my SIL came over and i was telling her that Emelia's teeth were close, so she had a quick feel and said she has a tooth its cut...i was like WAT!!!! and indeed she did! (i had only checked this morning but it hadnt come through yet!) so Emelia has her first tooth bottom right

1 down so many more to go lol :s

tara - how did Evie sleep? 3 minutes is ages. I still go to Ella immediately if she cries but in the middle of the night sometimes i'm a bit slow and then before i know it she's asleep again.

Ella's still so congested and hates the Fess drops so much i have to wrap her arms to stop her from pushing it out of the way. On top of it all her gums are annoying her too! So many tears for one morning.

ANN sophie hates the fess ans aspirator as well, i have to hold her down and suck her nose, but man the amount of snot!!!

well i'm paying the price for shopping this morning!!!! very cranky girl, prevention is definatly better than cure in this house!!!

My god.. the carpets in our new house are cream again....u can see the true colour!! The steam cleaner guy looked and went holy $hit....thats bad! SO yeah all clean and smelling fresh!!! yaaaaaaaaaaaay

Matilda didn't have her first tooth until she was 13 months, so I'm not holding my breath for any real soon who knows, by now Matilda was standing and holding onto things and crawling like a champion so maybe Jovie will teeth earlier LOL.
