Hi everyone - thanks for making me feel wlecome.

It sounds like some of you are in the same boat we were. Sleep deprivation is a form of torture after all and I know exactly how you feel operating on broken sleep with the longest bit 2hrs! New to this so if I miss replying to you individually I'm sorry!

Luua - Jake refused a dummy from day one and consequently I have a huge jar with one of nearly every type of dummy available in it! We had a rough night the first night, well I didn't cos I was off with the fairies, but DH said he woke at 11 (usually when he want his first night snack) and it took an hour to settle him and he screamed the house down. We went the soft CC approach and worked up in 2 min intervals on the first night. He then woke again a 3 which is normally his next snack and settled in 20 mins, then woke at 6 or 7 for breakfast. That was the worst night. After that he woke 3.30 for the next few nights, then 4, 4.30, 6 and sometimes 7. This morning went back to 3.30 but he has a bit of a cough and he had a coughing attack.

Congrats Christy at the baby show. Was thinking of going but we have suddenly got busy this weekend.

Vicky - thanks for sharing the girls! Jake is used to being the only boy all my girlfriends bar 2 (out of 10) have girls!

If it helps with the falling off the bed thing - my girlfriend has just taught her 8mth old to crawl off the bed backwards.

Sorry was going to come in last night but got stuck in the cha room - damn it's addictive!!!

Take care
