Luua - yes, the people of Burma have put up with so much, it's amazing the difference the internet is making to their cause, i'm so glad about that. I keep hoping that the democracy leader under house arrest, i can never spell her name, but i hope, just like Nelson Mandela being in prison for 27 years, then becoming President, i want that to happen to her in Burma.
Great to hear improvements in sleep for some of you. We got up to five hours last night, from the usual four hours in the last bit. STill the usual two hour gaps before that, but at least the long one was five. so i'm grateful for that.
bilbs said dad da for the first time, her first words! last night. Great that she said them while big sister was visiting too. They get on beautifully. Esp considering big sis sleeps in the nursery, so we have to put on the light when changing bilby after big sis is in bed, and she doesn't complain.
Vicky, if you wanna vent about your mother/MIL, i forget which it was, go ahead hon!
Padding at the beach sounds idyllic, haven't done that since the summer of 06/07! Last summer i was too unwell with c-section dramas.
Enjoy the lovely winery Christy, sounds so idyllic.
What has happened to your webstore AJP? has something happened that i missed?
Yes, if i could sew, sewing would be a very good use of time! I'd love to sew one of those reversible smocks/pinnies for bilbs in some funky fabric. Appplique a bilby onto it (if i had a clue how to even do that!!!)
Nelly how is your dishwashing tablet eating bub doing? wot a scare? Glad for you Darren is home now. I cannot imagine parenting on my own (although i'm sure you adapt when you have to). Congrats on Jakes first step too, that's great!
It;s sexual discrimination under the EO legislation to ask an employee those questions LUAA. your boss is being illegal (how unusual, under this new climate of IR laws). This is all reminding me of living in Thatcher's Britain of the late 80's. i went there on a working holiday, and found it frightening how little rights the workers had, silly me though Australia would never be like that.
i'm not finally over the gastro i think, 4kg lighter and able to fit into clothes i thought i'd have to get rid of! i might as well enjoy it while it lasts! i'm sure i'll put the 4kg back on now i can eat again. 4kg seems quite a bit to lose to me, but it NEVER goes off my thighs!!!!! grrrr.
