She said she didn't want to give her medicine when it might not be nesessary. The pead would be the best person to ask.She is right in that way, but if I can't get in to the pead, she'll call & speak to him. So I have to wait & see what happens tomorrow.
Angel has a bit of a temp tonight, could be from the needles or maybe her teething, if it's not one thing it's the other I swear, today has been ****ty!!

Tomorrow I'll ring him & see what he says, maybe if he OK's it I can get it from my GP

No, he never called me back, not answering the phone yet either, must be busy.
She's ok, had 2 yuckers already this morning & she's only been up for 1 hour. But apart from that she is still happy.

Uhhhh Michelle, finally got through to the pead, he has got me to try lactose free formula, his reasons were, she was always chucking, so we put her on the thickner which stopped it, but her tummy couldn't digest it, so it's come out the other end. I can under stand this, I just hope it's the right theory iykwim, for her sake. I guess we will see by tomorrow arvo, she's had 1 bottle of the S26 LF & she never even dribbled any out of her mouth, so we'll just see what the nappies are like in the next few days.
    Fingers crossed!!

Let us know how the S26 LF formula goes.
What where Angel's nappies like ?
Eleanor's reminded me of when Alex was lactose intolerant and they used to come up out of the nappy and the smell was so bad.
They did test Eleanor for lactose but i wonder if just changing her formula will help. I'll have to see if i can get some small packs of it.

I looked for the small packets but they didn't have any.
No change as yet, will have to wait til the other formula is out of her system. She's done 2 yuk's again today. so if there are no more I'll be happy!
    Was Alex lactose intolerence bad?

Alex was bad with his lactose he couldn't have anything with milk in it. It didn't take long for the milk to get in to his sytem and work but he still does really soft poos but not the out the nappy and smelly kind.He now has cows milk but it wasn't until around 18months. Your pead should be able to give you the formula if it works on prescription. You get it a lot cheaper that way.

    That would be good !
So if she is lactose intolerant she'll have to have all special milks then? You can get LF custards & yoghurt can't you? I'm pretty sure I've seen them. Pead also said I could start her on solids now too, but only farex with the LF formula or water, urgh, this is all too much for my little brain to deal with!

Alex had lactose free milk when he reached 12months and also eat the yoghurts. The soy yoghurts where good to buy also. Wow at starting her on solids now that seems a little early. Maybe hold off a while longer until she's 5months old.

I heard good things about the soy yogurt.
Yeah, I'm not gonna start solids yet, I want to make sure this new formula is OK.
So, Alex is fine now? And can eat cheese & all kinds of dairy?
Sorry for asking so many questions & I'm also really sorry for highjacking your group's thread too.
Angel had a great day, only those 2 yukky poos this morning.

Don't worry about highjacking our thread i think everyone else has gone MIA.
Ask as many questions as you want always here to help.
Alex is fine now i think he was okay from around 18months. We was told to try once a month once he passed 12months as they normally grow out of it around then. He can eat all kinds of dairy now but he's not to good with low fat milk which he only has if i have run out of the fat stuff.
That's great news about the poos as well.

I've not given Eleanor her losec for a few days and she's been okay only time will tell if she gets bad again i still have some left to give her. If it does get worse again i might try the LF formula.

Yay for Eleanor going great without it!!
We had a huge nappy blow out at 4am this morning, the most discusting one yet, I've never seen so much , but it wasn't sour smelling, so that's gotta mean something & she hasn't done another one yet!

Storm our girls must have been thinking the same thing as 4.50am Eleanor woke with such a yucky poo and it was out of her nappy i had to change everything and the once i did she went again. I brought some LF formula but could only get the Karicare one. It's taken ages to get her to drink it as she's used to thicker stuff.

Oh poor Eleanor. NO fun being up that time changing bums, bedding & bathing!!
Angel takes ages to drink a bottle when there is no thickner in it to, you'd think they would woof it down!

Hope the LF works for Eleanor, Angel seems to be going good, we haven't had another poo yet, so that's something LOL!! She's been happily playing on the floor for an hour, looks like things are going back to how they were
