I made the muffin recipe on the Heinz apple and sultana muesli packet today - they are quite tasty and evie loves them! try it out guys!
AJP - in the thread i posted you said you do sophie's dinner around 5, just wondering what time she goes to bed then?
Ive tried changing our bedtime routine a bit, i now do dinner and a bath, little play then boob and bed. i found that little play helps get wind out. having said that though, i put her to bed later last night (like 745) and she was still up at 5, so i think i'll stick with going to bed early since she gets up early anyways! still up a couple of times a night...meh! what can you do!

Tara we incorpororated a quiet playtime in our routine, and I have just switched the boob and book so that when he weans he will still associate the book before sleep rather than the boob. We do dinner at 5, playtime until Daddy gets home between 545 and 615 then bath boob book and bed by 645. We tried later bed time so he'd wake earlier but he sill woke at 5 too!

Good luck Tara. Remember she'll be fine. she'll protest but she'll learn she doesnt need it to sleep.

When we did it it was bad on the first night. 2nd night not bad, 3rd and 4th was hell and then fine on the 5th....I've heard this pattern is common for most bubs who wean off the night feeds.

Let us know how it goes.

    All the best Tara!

Back to the brushing teeth/no toothpaste saga.....i was just readin an email i get weekly from a website and it said this:

Give teeth a clean using a soft brush with a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste before you baby goes to sleep.
    Any thoughts or opinions??

On to other news...Chelsea is well...and im better!! Slight cough but so much better then i have been.

Plug starting to come away...which means nothing sometimes! As long as i make it to October 1 then im happy...i do not want a September bub...cant see it happening anyhow. 37 weeks tmrw
Yet another October bub has come early...6 now! They just didnt wanna wait!!

Chelsea being bit fussy with food tonight.. normally the food she eats fast, is being spat out and she is refusing. Ah well....i guess we are the same, go off foods from time to time. Its cute, when she is eating something and i ask her if its yummy she nods Yes, or says Nummies....well thats wat it sounds like anyhow!! 11.40pm EVERY night for the last 4 nights now we get a wake up call (not that Craig and i are normally in bed anyhow) from Chelsea....we dont know why...but right on the dot she wakes...sit up with her for 15-20 mins just holding her in her room, put her back to bed and she goes back to sleep. Weird!!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Tara we do dinner at 5pm, play til around 6.20-630 then into bath, then boob and bed by 7pm, she up ion the morning anytime from 5.30-7

KIM no need at all for toothpaste, i wouldnt bother til shes around two, then only use childrens toothpaste as it only has a small amount of fluoride and doesnt matter so much if she swallows it, once she can spit out you can change to normal toothpaste which is around age 6 or so

Funny you say that Kim, evie will wake on the dot. without fail. if i put her to bed at 6:46 you can bet your life she will wake up at 946. it;s uncanny
thanks for that AJP, my moniker friend
