thank you kim for sharing your beautiful daughters birth with us... it was wonderful to look through the album, and like tara reminded me of the wonder that is birth...

i have had a good day today. I went and had an amazing massage then coffee with a friend then a great appointment with the therapist - she is seeing the kids next week, so I feeling really positve, even in light of Martin texting Laura this morning - saying hi, thinking of you, say hello to Nathan, love Dad xxx .... anyway, that's another story..and right now i am baskng in the moment of having had a good day. it is raining here so the tanks are filling, and I was able to have a beautiful relaxing deep bath. it was wonderful!!!! total bliss. Daddy and Aston had a lovely day together too, and I'm going to do it all again in 2 weeks!

a friend of mine and I are going to start selling our paintings...we are going to have a stall at the local markets in 2 weeks. i cant believe I have agreed to do it..but hey, sometimes you have to make the leap and come what may....

    hugs all
    xxx

Thanks for the lovely comments ladies. There were heaps of the birth but thought they were a bit to graphic for a public site. It truly was amazing to look at the pics and i loved sharing them for you all.

Things are great during the day, feeding and sleeping well. But its the early morning we struggle with. Today she woke at 2am.....fed..and now we still up screaming...cant console her

Chelsea on top of all this has a cold and is not making things easy on us. I get in such a state from no sleep i cry constantly. MIL is coming down again from NSW to help for a few days. Goes home on Friday morning.

I am worried i will turn into the evil monster like after Chelseas birth....but i have Craigs great support.....so we are always talking....i just hope my moods dont rub off and affect Chelsea.

OK..nealry 4am...Craig is going out for a drive with Jasmine to see if she can calm down.....im goin to *try* get some sleep.

hugs kim... i hope craig was able to settle jasmine. i think its brilliant that he was right there up with you. good man!

remember to leave the super woman outfit in the cupboard, and take up all offers of assistance - and ask for help!!! wish i was closer hun..

good for you tara- look into it, i think it would be a brilliant vocation. even though I have only had c-sections i was at the birth of my sister's two kids, and it was amazing to be a part of it.

Tara I was looking into being a doula, I think it would fantastic & inspiring.

Okay Brissy girls(or those ready to travel to Wynnum....) is Friday evening good or Saturday daytime?? I have a house a BBQ and HEAPS of toys.... a lovely verandah to sit on & just SIT for 30 minutes or so. I can't guantee it will all be clean but I can guantee some relaxation.

I'm a 5 minute drive off the gateway just near the bridge. So from Narang its around 45 minutes? From Vicky's it would be heaps longer but I would love to have you!!!

tara / jols / blanchie I know exactly how you feel, plus am depressed bcos it looks like I'll have to go back to work so am currently looking into the usual tupperware etc plus mystery shopping at least then I can have Jake with me.... sick of being poor... plus landlord wants to put rent up from 285 to 365 per wk. no 2 has to go on hold it all sucks....

christy Fri evening i can do either with or without Jake and Sat I can do minus Jake until 12 but he's mine after that. Either way I really don't care need some social interaction and hugs!

evies going thru the exact same thing jols except a month early!
she started grinding her teeth today! sounds like bones breaking!
yes my day got better thanks for asking. i ate some fatty fatty food.
I'm a bit worried that she's not drinking enough during the day actually...and not eating much either at the moment.
Today i got some Amcal branded paracetamol and it doesnt taste as bad as panadol so she'll take it, thank goodness! the nurofen was really upsetting her stomach so that was keeping her awake instead of her teeth. gave her panadol this afternoon and she slept for ages, i had to wake her up. so hopefully it'll work tonight

i wish i was closer too Christy... i hope you and nelly can get together tho.

i went to the gyne today, and will be having surgery in about 4 weeks. god i hope it brings some relief the pain is intense again, and i am cranky and wound up.

aston is walking walking walking...and cracks up as he does it...laughs out loud.it is so funny. falls over a lot still, but spends more time up then down. i am going to go back to mushing up his food too jols...he wants to feed himself, so maybe if i mush it up, he will actually eat more...spends alot of time, nibbling at food, and then spitting it out.so i am never sure how much he is actually eating!

nelly hugs hun - speak to you tomorrow. we will have to organise a meet up at redcliffe and the bubs can splash about... christy? Tara? up to it?

sore and tired... but calm so that has to account for something

On a gooood note...Jasmine slept last night....woke at 3am for a feed and slept til 730..and back to sleep by 8.

Kim that is great - it's amazing what a few hours sleep can do to your sanity! My GF uses the colour-free dimetapp with no probs, but we have never tried it here.

Where is Ann and Gigi? Has anyone heard from them?

Redcliffe would be great - next week maybe?

We are going to the pool now for an hour in an attempt to wear Mr Jake out so he sleeps this morning and to beat the heat - the sun was so hot at 6am this morning at my training class! Vicky I'll talk to you after 930?

Jake fell off the bed twice yesterday and has the beginnings of a lovely shiner - he was trying to get the photos and kiss us in them .... very cute! He points to them and says Mum, dud, mmmglll (millie girl our cat).
