JOls, I'll have to go and have a look at that conception thing. I know when Aston was conceived for sure... so I wondering what it is going to say.

Tara - I think the weather is depressing me - now I know how the Brits feel, I couldn't live like this all the time.

I think Aston was just over 10kg at his immunisation. He seems to have slowed down with weight gain, and just keeps getting longer. He puts so much food away its not funny!

I think he is allergic to milk. This week he finally started drinking it, and each time he has, he has vomited shortly afterwards. not alot, just a little bit. its odd, because yogurt, cheese, icecream don't bother him. going to have alook into it.

now DH is sick, so i'm so hoping he doesnt get it like i had it.
    hmm..what else... la la la...

here's a joke i heard the other day:

3 men are sitting in a bar. A ferrari drives past and 1 man goes 'that car reminds me of my wife' 'why?' the other 2 ask 'well, she's sleek, hot and sporty'.
next a bmw drives past, another man says 'that reminds me of my wife' 'why?' they ask 'well, its sturdy and strong'
next an ambulance goes past, lights and sirens blazing and the last man says 'now THAT reminds me of my wife' the other men look puzzled
'well,it's all she says - dooo this dooooo that dooooo this doooo that'

i've got another if you all promise to laugh at that one

Ann - bilby is 14 months and only has one word really - Dadda. We hear Mumma just the last week, a little bit, but not consistently yet.

Ella's teeth sound amazing! we only have maybe four definites, couple lurking.

now who said about their bub lying down but refusing to go to sleep if moved (to cot etc) - we have the same thing - have taken to getting her to sleep in the playpen, just to get SOME naps happening.

bilby's FIRST time in a sandpit today - loved it, and also FIRST time going down a toddler slippery dip, first on my lap and then, me holding her waist and her going down on her own well padded cloth nappy butt - a minky nappy and i didn't even think, will this wreck the minky? i just was happy to see her delight.

and a first for me today, had to change my bilby in the stroller (in the Spotlight carpark cos they didn't have a baby change area) and i was dreading it - of course it was a FULL nappy - only one today, had to be then didn't it?? and bilby very conveniently sucked her toes and stayed perfectly still, so i was able to deal with the poo without it going all over the pram liner, as i feared, cos normally she kicks and does crocodile rolls (on the changetable) - so changing her in the stroller wasn't so bad after all, but i tell ya, she's getting so long, i don't think it will be possible for much longer = just due to her length.

bilby is around 9kg Ann, is Ella really under 5kg? that seems incredible!

That sucks Kimbaz about the airline not letting you fly with your girls. That sounds like discrimination. sure you have Craig, but what if you were a single parent? or for whatever reason had no 2nd adult to come with. sounds unfair. My SD flies as an unaccompanied minor frequently.

ANy more jokes Tara? I liked your joke!

Vicky, people living near the north pole e.g the Poms do get SADS (Seasonally something Depression), living nine months with sometimes only four days of daylight - being treated with special lamps that go off whilst they're sleeping - to make their body feel like they're getting more light. Sunlight is important to our wellbeing. I worked in London for over a year and remember, going to work in pitch black (8am), coming home from work in pitch black (5pm) and absolutely CRAVING some sun!

Oops silly fingers typed 4.7kg for ella's weight instead of 8.7kg...that's better.

Nelly just messaged you to meet up today. Weather is nasty today so better stay indoors. Cold and all we still want to meet you and your beautiful boy.

Bilby sounds so cute sliding down the slide.

Ooops screaming baby wants to get off the ride-on!

    gotta go

    How cute Jols!!!

Okay, now I'll try to catch up....

Nelly, Matilda's gotten sick before on holidays at friends houses & passed it around too. Its hard but there is nothing you can do I hope Jakey is feeling better.

Ann & Nelly enjoy your meet up

I need a new av too.... want my picture back LOL but I have to wait for Kelly to get back from hols because thats where it is stored on her computer.

Gigi how did the minkie go?? Jovie loves sand pits & loves eating it

Vicky :hugs: would love to catch up but the next 2 weeks for me are mental. Next Thursday we are going to Sydney for 5 days to see IL's & friends. We went to Scarborough (sp?) on the weekend near Redcliffe & OMG it was beautiful. DH has been looking at houses nearby ever since.

Kim I did the conception charts as well with heartbreak. Both times it said I was having a boy!!!

ATM looks like TTC is on hold. I don't feel finished but that may just be because I don't have my boy, ykwim? At the same time I don't ever want to go back to those first 3 months... not right now. I'm too tired LOL.

I'm going to a specialist next week to find out if there is something going on with my endocrine system because I'm just exhausted... even those days where I was sleeping 18 hours a day when DH was home exhausted me. So we shall see.... I have my suspicions. I had adrenal issues when I was younger (10-17yrs). I just feel like the first 2 months of pregnancy all the time atm.

isn't it hysterical Jols? Aston likes to spin around too... think he likes the dizzy feeling!!

He woke up at 5am this morning because of the stupid magpies! he is back in bed now, so i'm off to lay down myself. I'm still not able to sleep, so i went to bed at 12am.

    have a good day everyone.
