    Hey all!

Amber - K has no teeth yet either! I hope you enjoy yoga today

Claire - When I upped K's solids to 3 meals a day he got really backed up. I ended up dropping the third meal for a while and I gave him water in a sippy cup which really helped things along. I know Ange chops up prunes to add to yoghurt etc., I have some on hand in case it happens again!

Becky - Happy 7 months to Chelsea for yesterday!

I've done another massive cook up of vegies for K today to freeze, it's so much quicker than making it every day and heaps cheaper than buying jarred stuff.

I've got a chicken roasting in my slow cooker ATM, I hope it turns out OK!

Celtic - Yes you can freezed cooked vegies. I mash things like sweet potato, potato, carrots and pumpkin and spoon each vegetable into ice cube trays (covered with foil). When they are frozen I pop them out and store them in sealed bags. I pull one or two cubes out and defrost/heat them in the microwave. It is OK to heat them this way, but you need to stir it well to avoid hotspots and let it sit for a minute or two. You can also safely heat the vegies up in a saucepan. If you want to defrost them ahead of time, you should defrost them in the fridge. You can also freeze cooked meats in the same way, but they don't recommend you heat it in the microwave because the meat can get very hot in spots which can burn bub's mouth. HTH

Becky - Have fun at MG today, I hope you meet some lovely new people!

Amber - Has that tooth cut through yet?! It's kinda sad when they aren't gummy any more lol!

    Have a great day everyone!

    Hi everyone,
Hope you are all doing well. We had another shocker last night. Ethan has now come down with a cold (he was healthy for a week) so he was up crying last night. Took him for a drive at 12.45 this morning which calmed him down.

    Enough whinging from me.

Celtic - I find freezing vegies really handy as Ethan is a fussy eater. That way I can do a big cook up and freeze a bunch of vegies separately (in ice cube trays) and I don't waste all my food when he decides he doesn't want it. Tupper ware have some great ice cube trays which have covers and they are easy to push the ice cubes out.

Becky - have fun at mg. Hope you find a cute kitten for your sis.

Have a great day everyone. I'm am off to bed for a nap.

Becky - Just give it a go! Using the two methods is a great idea.

Amber - You'll got nipped with his tooth next! Makes your eyes water!

Harry woke up screaming about 9.30pm - not sure why but it was pretty distressing for both of us. He ended up in bed with us all night (he normally sleeps in his hammock by my side of the bed). I don't mind him in bed with us but it feels like he's on the boob most of the night. Feel like a snack-bar! In all honestly he's recently turned into a rotten sleeper - I wonder how long this will go on for?
