breastfed babies are lighter? someone needs to get that memo to Captain Chunks over here. he's a chubster...
    was thinking the same thing!

But statistically speaking, yes, BF bubs are leaner. DD was a 'classic' BF bub, DS is.....not. LOL!

Rotten colds all round here. DD is miserable, but L not too bad thankfully. Few more wake ups last night than normal, but otherwise not too bad.

Amber - when DD cut her two bottom teeth, I found her in her cot in the morning with blood all over the cuff of her bonds suit. FREAKED until I saw blood around her mouth too and realised she'd cut her teeth. So yes, a bit of bleeding is OK.

Trish - hope Joel is feeling better tonight. Poor tyke...

yay Harry Im doing a poo dance for you LOL!!
how was your morning with dh and kid free claire?!

I remember Nixon went through this at about this age and his farts smelt so rotten until he rinally let one out lol. Tyron on the other hand is very regular, i think i changed 4 poos from him today..... its always atleast 1 and depending on how many teeth he wants to push through maybe more. (just cut tooth 6 a few days ago)

I weighed my monster myself and he's still 10kg. so he hasnt actully put on weight since 6months but he's got taller def cause pants are getting shorter. I was looking at him and he's got the chub cheeks thick legs etc but he's not a sumo wrestler baby like i'd imagine a 10kg 7month old to be lol! he's just big all over and well proportioned. and i do think genes play a huge roll. DH his very solid and 6ft 3inches tall so i'm sure tyron is going to give him a run for his money.

Nixon is started to come out with some more words now he's a charachter. he learnt one of our dogs names "Marlu" so kept repeating it over and over today.
I also taught him to say "Im tall, Im stong, Im skinny & Im a monkey" and do the actions to it!! although if he actually did this infront of anyone no one would have a clue what he just said but i know what he is doing!

Trish- i hope Joel is ok. we are about 5-6weeks off officially moving in. Today we bought an over and range hood. removed the old broken up kitchen into the trailer and ripped up the remainder of the carpet. so we basically have done as much as we can and now its up to all the trades to start doing their bit in order!

nickers - how gorgeous - smarty pants, nixon.

trish - when the chn lay him down to measure him she took his hands and pulled them until his body came off the table then pulled his arms above his head. i asked her if this caused bowed legs but she said no (that fat disposable nappies do that - not sure how true that is). anyhow, we held him up like that by his hands a lot when he was around that age. now we hold his arms more out to the side.

he loved to bounce, and i'd just let him take as much weight as he wanted to.

today he has been doing the 'pull up' onto stuff all morning. no wonder he's not sleeping so well, he's cooking up these milestones in his sleep. i don't sleep when i'm cooking things in my brain either. yesterday, after i typed about his pull up, he did it again but slid off the table with slippery magazines and konked his head on the tiles (just missed his soft mat). oh man, mother guilt... wah wah waaaaaaaah....

now i sit behind him whenever he does it because he's a tad wobbly.

Viv- Wow! James will be off in no time!

Amber - What I should have said is Myles is fine! He is perfectly proportioned!

Nic - I'd love to see Nixon do that dance! Bet he looks very cute! Didn't get that morning free unfortunately, but we are planning a child-free Friday night very soon! See you tonight at the meeting.

Hmm quite a fan of exclamation marks aren't I?

Trish - what was the centre like? What does it do?

Harry seems to have slowed down with regards to putting weight on too - looks like 100g in the past month but I did weigh him on different scales, so can't be completly sure. Found him rocking on his knees and hands yesterday so I'm hoping crawling isn't too far off for this young man - he's desperate to get moving and if left in a room alone, wails the place down! loves walking though and at times I can just hold one of his hands and he balances, he's started walking towards a piece of furniture too! Clever little dude!

Last night was awful again - I end up taking him in bed with me and he wants to stay attached so every time he falls asleep and pops of, he wakes up and roots around which wakes me up!

Mo- how could madi resist pulling the reverse mullet??? Usually it's the guni poking eyes and biting toes, good for her to get a dose of her own medicine!

So Lu is sleeping 12 hours, is EC trained, says the Dad, Dog, Cat, the alphabet and wake up you're dreaming mum! Ha i wish. Sleepless nights have not been for nothing though, we have a top tooth and another on the way.

Got the pull up going on here too. Look out girls Big J is catching up! Crawling and pulling up in one week Viv? advanced for sure! I think that weight bearing, bow leg thing is another ye ol' wives tale.

Claire- we have had shocking nights here too. Been feeling like a walking zombie! i sympathise.

Sorry Mo! I turned up at about 3-ish. I couldn't go in the morning because I was dealing with a sick Joel and a lack of sleep. After my nanna-nap I felt much more human!

Bummer I didn't get to meet you IRL Ange! I would have loved to have met the infamous Falguni. Hopefully we'll meet one of these days! Yay for Lu popping another tooth! I hope her nights settle down for you soon.

    - The BB centre looked really nice. Not very pram friendly though! It was created as a supportive place for pg women and mums. It will have resources to educate and also has natural therapists available. You can read more about it here: https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...ouncement.html. Wow at Harry kinda-walking! He is so clever! I hope you get a better night tonight.

Viv - Thanks for the pull-up description. Doesn't work on K! He just doesn't seem keen to do anything apart from roll to his side or from his tummy to his back. Such a lazy man! He much prefers to be carted around. Don't feel too bad about James bumping his head, it will happen heaps more yet! Joel used to permanently go around with bruises on his forehead. I have so many photos of him with a purple mark on his head!

Nic - Nixon sounds so cute! It's such a fun age. I hope your tradies get everything done in time for you!

Willow - Sorry you guys are all sick, it's that time of year sadly. I hope you all feel better soon.

Joel's much better today. Still not eating much, DH tried to get him to have some more dinner and he ended up throwing it up. I think his tummy is still settling. I think I got a mild dose of whatever Joel had because my tummy has felt odd all day and I don't have much of an appetite. Still tired from the other night too so think I will go to bed early tonight .

Geezaloo, just took me 45 mins to get the little man to sleep! His cold has hit him harder today, lucky I still love him to bits, even with bright green snot dripping out of his nose!! LOL.

I'm better now, DD is a lot better today so hopefully he'll be better too in the next day or so (he was the last to cop it).

Question for the big boys (James, Tyron, Max - think that's all the heavy weights?) what size clothes are they in now? Don't know whether i should bother buying him 00s or just skip straight to 0s. He needs some more bonds suits for pjs n stuff...
