    Hey all.

Just got home, we went out ot lunch for our anniversary and are considering going out for dinner too. Both babies are asleep now so we are just realxing!

Trish - Chelsea LOVED the chicken!! She is really good with just mashed foods now, but the chicken I still pureed. I mixed it with pumpkin and she scoffed it! YAY! Will try it for a few more days then might try mince or some other meat. God my girl loves her food.

Willow - Awwww how scary! I hope L gets better soon. Apparantly there is a medicine you can give babies under 2 called Paedamin. It clears up the nose I think. Worth enquiring about.

Saff - Good luck with L at Child care. Geez, I wouldnt have been to happy if Id walked in with him crying. Like you said though, hopefuly it is a 1 off.

Amber - Happy Bday for tomorrow. I give Chels the VAalia stuff and she LOVES it. I give her a tub once a day and she has had no reaction or anything to it. They are only pretty small tubs. I think you can give him normal yoghurt though if you prefer, as long as it is full fat! Not the reduced fat or lite type.

Ok, may pop back later. Have a good day!

Happy anniversary becky. No baby making now! Anniversarys are notorious for that!

Happy birthday for tomorrow Amber- Hope you get spoilt rotten! Yeah most of that baby food is packed full of carp. wrong isn't it?! I give Lu the full fat plain Jalna in the red tub, or an organic gipsland one we have down here, but not sure if you would have it up there.

    8 months, holy cow.

MCHN told me i should be wiping or brushing the guni's teeth, but i dont. I do give her the toothbrush to chew on like Boomba does. I give it to her in the bath.

Willow we have snot central here too. Man i hate it. The poor little things. She can't BF properly b/c she can't breathe through her nose. This is the 3rd cold in 4 weeks. i though BF bubs were supposed to have good immunity!! I guess licking the floor everywhere we go doesn't help.

What do you suppose this icon is for........ ? wiggle on.

Thanks Ange! I cannot believe the stuff that's in the baby foods... no wonder we have a nation of obese people! Will go to my organic shop and get some thanks! By the way i believe this is a description of my heffer self at the moment hahaha!
Becky so glad you had a nice day!
Willow & Ange i have a snot box too at the moment! the worse part is he rubs his nose and eyes and in the morning is covered in hard boogers eewwww!

Well had an alright day! Spent some lovely time with mum which was great! But went shopping to find some clothes for my fatty fat fat body and got so depressed i actually cried! So this got me thinking maybe AF is on its way cause i dont usually get upset, but then again i can usually find something nice! The part is its so hard finding clothes that are easy to BF in! Argh vent over!
Looking forward to tomorrow and having lunch with my GF! thanks for all the bday wishes if i dont get on tomorrow xo

! Boomba i just noticed your thingi under your name. i sing that ants song, but i can't help myself. When the ants go marching on by one the little one stops to scratch his bum. 2 by 2 he stops to do a poo....... you get the idea! childish i know!

Meh, i'm over the body thing, i got all excited that i was back to pre-preg weight, then discovered the scales were wrong!!! By about 8 kg's! Sill have 6 to go, but not worrying too much until i have finished BF'ing. Takes a bit of getting used to a jelly belly though. i hear your pain. Think we need to watch how to look good naked!

ETA- Is maddi bathing herself mo?

I am so bored. I am so bored.

Nothing much to do tonight. Ethan is asleep and hubby is out. I am so bored!!!!!!!

I really need to get myself a hobby.

Well my day was ok. E fought with me over eating home cooked food for lunch. He won. He was so hungry for solids at dinner time that he ate a jar of carrot, a small tub of yoghurt and half a tin of pear. What a guts. He then ate a rusk. I am starting to think that I will give up on the solids and just give him jars and tins. It isn't worth the stress. I will still cook every once in a while and freeze and try occasionally. At least he is getting a wide range of foods.

Hopefully E will sleep all night. I suppose I will go to bed since there is nothing to do here.
    Night all.

Thanks all for the anniversary wishes! Lovely dinner out as well. It must be the season for birthdays too! Mine is next week.

Ange - Dont worry about the baby making from me! Implanon is FIRMLY in place! Eeeeeep. ..... I shudder....

Oh i know how everyone feels re: weight loss! I was doing so well! I got down below pre:CHels weight, almost to pre:Liam. But the last few weeks I have been soooooo bad and now I think I have put a few back on again. Grrrrr.... I keep meaning to start a diet, just...... well...... dont. Ok thats it! As of tomorrow, back on WW!!!!

Alz - Its been a while since I popped in and checked things out so I dont know what you have and havent tried....have you tried mixing formula/BM into it? Sometimes Caitlyn wont take her solids unless she sees me putting some of her bottle in there. Then its gung ho! Also the suggestion of a half and half with tinned food and then slowing losing the tinned food seems like a good idea.
Babies really really like to try our patience at times dont they!
Becky- How did you make up the chicken? I really want to start introducing meats into Caitlyns diet. Have read everywhere to just puree a casserole that we made but we have herbs and that in ours so I dont know how things will go. I have tried her on mashed food and she is getting there slowly.
Yoghurt- it is SOOOO hard to buy full fat yoghurt! everytime I go to the shops they have heaps and heaps of diet stuff but noooooo full fat. Its really a pain in the backside. I think I will buy a big tub and just dish some out everyday into little jars for her to take to daycare.
Weight loss I really just couldnt be bothered! My clothes fit me completely differently than before. These jeans that I bought sagged in the bum before and now my toosh fills them out really really well - so DH says! Can barely walk past him without him grabbing it lately.
Snot-We have heaps of that happening in the house atm. And not just Caitlyn. We find that the vaporiser works well. Old wives tale time - vicks (or eukybear) on the feet with socks on overnight. Worked for us. But it seems the congested nose can lead to manky eyes. So she looks like she has conjunctivitis every morning. But after a clean 0 thats it!
We are still wrapping at night for a decent sleep. But some nights we attempt to leave her unwrapped and it doesnt work and she wakes up after about 2 hours screaming her little head off!!!!
Must go and get some work done. Talk later.

I got my act together & got M a toothbrush, she's in the bath now chewing on it, every time you pick it up she opens her mouth so you can brush them so cute!

Since you may not be on tomorrow for tomorrow Amber
