Morning everyone! I was just typing a reply when the old thread was closed!

Gaahhh...does it ever end??? I woke up this morning with a blocked nose, sore throat, nausea and diarrhea . I must have caught Joel's gastro. K had the runs the other day so I guess we've all had it now (except DH). DH has to go to a meeting at work this morning, but will come home afterwards to look after us all. I hope he doesn't get it too!

Hope you all have a better day then me!!

Mo - Congratulations! That is exciting news!! I would love to start for number 2 but will NEVER EVER be pregnant and so isolated again. So will wait until we move closer to a hospital that can deliver.
Was just thinking the other day (looking down at my still expanded tummy!) how much I loved being pregnant. Told DH same and he looked at me with this frightened look on his face. he he he - am evil sometimes.
Well my friend is very nervous about her little one coming. She is due 5th July and her partner gets back from down south in a little less than a week after being away for almost the entire pregnancy - gotta love the defence forces!
Was just reading her bellybelly group and one of the ladies was saying all sorts of stuff about how she is feeling...loose bowels...baby dropped....etc etc...and all I could think about was - she's going to be first!! Didnt say anything of course! But oooo how exciting!
I sooo can't wait for her to have her baby - its a little girl - only problem being that I can't pass any of my clothes onto her cause she is a different season! Born in winter when Caitlyn was born in almost summer! So I just gave her some socks and singlets that C used to wear oh and the most gorgeous little hat!
Anyway - had better go get some work done.
    Again Mo - congrats!!

Mo - you little hootah!! Well done... wow ~~~~~~~sticky~~~~~~~~~

Trish - you poor thing - what a pain!!

I also send a dose of MIL-repellant for those in need.

I need to start a poo discussion.

Talk to me about what baby poo is supposed to look like at this age...

I have banned cereal and whaddayaknow, little man is pooing again. He had snake poo with banana, big round ball poo with cereal and prunes (to which i find he's allergic... stupid preservatives), and semi loose poo with vegies...

    What is normal?

Viv - I dunno what's normal. Both my boys are so different, Joel used to keep 'em pretty soft. K normally does what I call "pellet poos" which are hard and small. (Almost always does one in the bath still ). But when he was unwell the other day it went soft, then runny. I prefer the hard ones because I can just flush them straight down the toilet and there isn't much mess. Man...I can't believe I can talk about poo so fluently lol.

Ooh, some good news from me (not pg sorry ), I'm getting another new car soon! I've only had mine for 6 months, but a new deal came up where we could get a cheap weekly lease deal (as cheap as our current one), but I also get a $500 fuel card. The only catch is I have to get whatever colour and model they choose. Seeing as I only have a base model Camry atm I thought it was worth the gamble and I'm getting an Aurion Prodigy! (DH works for Toyota) It will be silver and have leather seats, nice! I should get it in the next month or so, so at least I have something to look forward to! DH is downgrading from a Prado in September . He is getting a Rav4, still a nice car, but I love the Prado! We have been so spoilt from his work, we've always driven crappy cars that we could pay cash for so this is lots of fun!

Good poo descriptions NT- sounds about the same around here.

Was it the cereal or prunes giving allergy grief? Most dried fruit has that 220 preservative, but i did find prunes without it.....

Ceral is crap- particularly iron fortified. Iron can cause constipation. I get that they need iron, but there are foods, like prunes which are a great source of iron without the constipating effect. So many backed-up cereal related stories around....... JMO of course!

Tahlia's are still quite runny, although she isnt eating alot of food just yet. She still does quite a few a day too... is that normal?

Always nice to talk about poo in the morning.

Max's poos resemble traffic lights....strange!? Yes...but they change colour...usually comes out like a little butt cake nicely contoured in the shape of his cheeks and has shades of green, red and orange...depending on the order of the meals. I am expecting to see some alphabet shaped pasta come through any day now!

    Hi Everyone,
What lovely conversation in here today!!! Oh well I am used to toilet talk after working in a babies room at a child care centre.

Ethan's poos are still quite soft and sticky. Does 1 sometimes 2 everyday. Solids hasn't changed them at all.

    Mo- Congratulations!!!! How exciting.

Well I have given up of cooking for Ethan. It is creating too much stress in our household. Am just giving him jars and tins and will try every week or so to give him home cooked food. He will eat some things off our plates so I am sure that he will eventually eat my cooking. Do you think that is the right decision? Will he still get the vitamins from this food?

Anyway. Having a good day here (since I haven't given E any home cooked food). He is sleeping well today so it is pretty cruisy here. Have a great afternoon.

Oh DO NOT talk to me about poo!!! I am so sick of the sight of it. At the moment I have Chelsea averaging 7 a day! Sometimes more. And then I have 2 from Liam too! I tell you I am so crapped out!!!

Mo - Awwww..... memories...... look at your ticker! How exciting!!

Geez Im still in my Pyjamas today! LAZY!!! But its raining here and yuck and we are not going out and I havent done this since I was pregnant so....... Have a good day ladies!!

I'm in my dressing gown and slippers Becky, don't feel bad!

Julia - You have described some of K's poos! They are really odd, it's like their body sorts out each food group.

I forgot to mention that K can poo numerous times a day (I call it a poo-a-thon) and then goes a few days without doing one. Now lets move on from this topic

I feel so terrible, I stopped the frequent loo trips this morning, but I'm freezing cold, achey and nauseous. Woe is me! DH took Joel to kinder so at least I don't have to worry about that. My poor sister came down with vomitting this morning and we haven't even been in contact with each other! I'm soooo bored, but when I try to sleep I end up in pain and just lie there wide awake feeling sorry for myself so I'm perched on the couch watching "Ready, Steady, Cook" and surfing BB. It sounds like an ideal day if I wasn't so sick LOL.

K is getting sooooo much happier. He is learning to move and I've been putting him on the floorboards and he worked out he can scoot around, so cute! He is much happier now he can actually do stuff. He naps longer too with all the burned off energy . We are going to roll up our carpet rug in the lounge room for a while and let him go nuts!

Anyway, I'll stop inflicting myself on you ladies!!

trish - that's your first mistake. watch days of our lives instead of RSC. much better.

i only just got out of my rob at 1.30. i'd had a shower but couldn't quite run to clothes today.

thanks for the poo input... or output? hah. cereal sucks. no more. i noticed the little man actually slept better last night without it (for 2 days) a coincidence?

Congratulations Mo! That is such wonderful news!

First Kim and now Mo, so who's next? *looks around suspiciously*

Poo, L's is still pastey. Goes once a day usually first thing in the morning.

L loves the Rafferty's Banana porridge. Just tried him on straight banana which he didn't really like. Did those gagging faces again.

L's second day at daycare. I went in with DH to settle L. One of the carers commented that L didn't cry on his first day. So DH replies "yes he did, he was crying when I came to collect him". Score one for DH!

I've been giving away some of L's grown out of clothes.

Trish - congrats on the new car! Leather seats will be easier to wipe down after the 2 boys. I prefer the UK version of RSC. Ainsley is sooooooo much better than Peter Everett!
Alz - of course you made the right decision. No point getting everyone stressed out by forcing something that the little guy clearly doesn't want. He is getting all the vitamins etc that he needs. Are you FF or BF? Either way they have all the vitamins that he needs and the solids are just the extras.

Hi to all the mummies and bubbies.

I'll pop in over the weekend.
