Helloooooooo.. is there anyone out there???

Saffi - Tahlia uses a spoon but i havent tried her with a fork yet.. she still makes enough mess with a spoon! I can't believe your almost half way!

Kim - thats great news about Jasmines eating

We had another orientation at child care today, left Tahlia there for 2 hours by herself. When I left I tried to get her to say bye but she was too interested in playing, so I was the only one with tears. The carers said she was happy the whole time she was there, and even had a sleep, so I was happy with that for her 1st go. Hopefully she is just as happy when I drop her off next week!

    Hi to everyone else!

Hey girls, sorry I havent posted since my gynie visit. No excuse really, just slack. All went well, well on the way to having some answers. Basically she has done blood tests, checking my hormone level and seeing where I am in my cycle. If I am getting an af soon and not pregnant, she is going to give me something to hurry it up. She didnt seem concerned by the fact that its been over 9 weeks since I had an af, she said considering my cycles are about 35 days that this is ok. She has booked me in for a gynalogical ultrasound, apparently its more detailed than a normal pelvic ultrasound which is on the 14th March. I get my blood test results then as well, she said she will do it all together. Like I want to wait, but oh well. Also have an enlarged uterus, she doesnt know the cause but wants to know why. She mentioned "fybroids etc", so of course I had to look it up on the net. Haha. I am bad. But I hate when you get half the story. So anyway, it could be a number of things causing that, and I will have to wait and see what the outcome there is as well. So as I said we are closer, but still dont know. Still no af, still feel like I am pregnant but she said its probably just my body getting prepared for a period. Oh, the other thing she said after looking at my bloods around the time of the m/c, is that it sounds like I had a chemical pregnancy. But I said why did I lose so badly, clots etc, she said she isnt sure and when I explained that she said maybe I was further along. SHe said she really cant say one way or another? Not that it really matters now, but it would be nice to know what happened.

    Saffi
    - my little miss independent has been attempting to feed herself since 12 months, what can I say, she likes to copy her sister. She uses forks and spoons now and is pretty good at it.

Julia - the plot thickens! Hehe, I hope that you get the outcome you want with the possibility of being utd!

    Mo -
full term ... wooohooo ... hopefully your baby girl makes her appearance soon!

    Kim
    - love the hair! It looks great. Great to hear Jas is eating now as well, its makes life so much better and less worry for you!

Willow - If we are blessed with No 3 I would like to find out, but my dh is a firm NO! We knew for No 2, but not NO 1. Its a great suprise, but I like knowing, especially if we were to have a boy after two girls, lots to get organised!

Amber - how are you feeling? is your cold in full swing yet?

Hi to everyone else ... I am trying to catch up! Once you get behind its hard to go back to everyone's posts and reply or comment on them! Doesnt mean I dont love ya's all xx

Trinity - woo hoo for you! Full term huh? Bring it on.

Kaz - so you are still waiting on news? I understand the wanting to know answers part. It is hard dealing with the reality that there IS an answer somewhere. Somehow something went wrong, but what? The more difficult reality to deal with is never knowing the truth. My gf had fibroids but still carried well, so hopefully this wont be an issue . They are not uncommon. Good luck with everything anyway, hopefully AF arrives soon so you can get on with things and stop living in limbo.

Saffi - Caden uses the spoon when I let him. He is a bit lazy (but maybe so am I) so I just feed him and give him a spoon to play with. I should give him a bit more freedom. He is a smart cookie and would probably do it well if I had the patience to let him!

    Everyone else - Hi!

    Gotta go, bub demanding attention

Kaz - glad to hear you got some news

Kate - I started using cloth when Tahlia was about 11 months, so by no means am I an expert. My personal faves are the snap in itti bittis, I have found pockets a bit bulky and that means alot of her pants don't fit. Can't answer your question about day care, cause I havent used prefolds myself, but I'm sure if you drop into the cloth nappies threads there will be heaps of ladies that can answer your questions, as well as recommend nappies to suit your little one. Heres a pic of Tahlia wearing an itti bitti to show you how cute they are, and they come in the most gorgeous colours! HTH!

    Hi to everyone else!

Labour vibes to Mo and belly rubs to all the pregnant bellies!

Kate goto the cloth thread they are a great help & so friendly.
Personally I love my Itti's they are so trim Maddi can wear all her pants with them. You will find most all in ones are more bulky than, snap ins & pockets.
Really it's just trial and error with the nappies, you'll find some nappies just don't work for you & what may work for L may not work so great with the next bub.
I'd start off with so big name brands like Itti Bitti's, Bum G's, Green-Kids etc only because they have good resale value if you don't like them. As for sizes don't base it only on weight base it more on measurements, Maddi is just over 11kgs & still fits mediums with a fair bit of room to grow but if you do buy some Itti's Bitti's i recommend going large as they a very trim nappy.
Haven't used prefolds, so I'm no help there.

Hope all the pregnant mums are feeling well.

Kaz i'm glad your finally getting some answers

As you can see I'm still here, been getting more pre-labor couldn't get to sleep till 2am last night because i just couldn't get comfy.
By the time she decides to come I'm going to so drained from all the pre-labor it's been 2 weeks now & it's just not letting up!

Mo - the only good thing at this stage of pregnancy in my opinion is knowing what a great gift you get when its all over! I am not a fan of pregnancy and you are making me cringe when you tell us about your lack of sleep and ability of getting some kind of comfort. Haha. Poor chicken!

Its been a bit quiet in here girls. I can add much really. Oh, we went shopping today, Taygan had the meltdown from hell. I had the big pram and because Mia had sore feet, I didnt think it would hurt to move Tay to the back of the pram and let Mia sit in front of her. Well Taygan had other ideas, and before I could strap her in decided to dive out of the pram. Thank goodness a lady was walking by and grabbed her. Then I put her back into the pram and she was screaming and then tried to bite Mia on the back ... repeatedly all the way to the car! I was embarrassed, and also felt like the worst Mum in the world. Its days like this that make me wonder how I will cope with another! *sigh*

I dont know if anyone is else is going through it, but Tay seems to just continuously whinge these days. Always wants her own way and chucks a tanty when it doesnt happen, and then if she gets really upset ... look out, as she tries to bite anything she can.

    The joy of it all!

Hi everyone! Just got back today, we had a great time . It was kind of hard because I had zero energy, but we still managed to do lots of fun stuff and everyone had a great time. The resort we stayed at had a great indoor heated pool which the boys loved. Every time K had a swim he would have a 3 hour nap afterwards!! So I made a habit of taking him for a swim every day before his nap . Last night I felt an earth tremor while sitting on the couch, apparently there was an earthquake in Leongatha/Korrumburra and I felt it all the way out in Rosebud!

Sorry I don't have time for personals, I'm still catching up/unpacking etc., but I just had to say a massive CONGRATULATIONS to Amber!!! That is such fantastic news and it was awesome to have something to so happy to read when I got back

Also sending some labour vibes to Mo, congrats on making full term!!!

Hi to everyone else, I will be back in a bit later

    Hello all,

Just thought I'd pop in and say hello, hope everyone is well, Ryan is doing great. Had an allergic reaction today to gods know what but mostly recovered now . I'm working FT, uni PT & caring for Ryan every other moment I'm not at work or doing uni work! So havent really the time to get on here and procrastinate... but thought I would for a minute anyway hehehe

Hope everyone is well, seeing a dr abt TTC, seems my LH is a little high, might need some help falling again *cries* she doesn't seem to think I'll need much more than a bit of clomid if the tests come back that I'm not ovulating properly everything else has come back good, yay!

Take care, will try and pop back a bit more now that rush is over at work

Mo - You poor thing, I hope tonight is better for you .

Celtic - Hi! Great to see you in here, I've been wondering how you are going . You sound like you have been very busy. Hopefully you have some luck with the clomid if you end up taking it. My friend used it and fell pg first cycle. Best of luck!

Celtic - wow, what a handful! I work 3 days a week and am doing 2 units at uni which is really JUST enough. I just couldn't work full time, I don't know how you do it . Well done on keeping yourself busy. WHat are you studying? I am doing Psych which is really only just finishing it off as I have only 4 units to go, 2 after this semester .

Kate - I use itti bittis as well. I use large ones as Caden has such large thighs. They are great and have different snaps so you can adjust them for fit. I use Baby Beehinds for night time because you can stuff them with additional night stuffers. These were also cheap because they have changed some of their materials so were selling the old ones cheap. Normal wear the BBHs aren't too bad, but the IBs are definitley the trimmest and they have the lovely minky outer. I have some snap ins and sewn ins, and I prefer the snaps ins, less messing around after a big wash, but unfortunately I got most snap ins.

Mo - bring on labour vibes!

As for us - not much going on. Busy like I said with uni and work as well. Finding it hard to fit everythign in, I am so proud of myself for studying after work when Caden is asleep, but then other things fall by the wayside, such as ironing and cleaning. Then I try to get some time to myself and that is hard enough without trying to squeeze in some DH loving time . Oh well!

Caden is doing great. Talking and imitating a fair bit more lately which is really nice. He understands so much and is such a quick learner. Ahhh, my baby boy is growing up!

Gotta go get the mini-man ready for bed.
