    Oooh I'm first!

    Hi!!!

Well - didn't I get a huge surprise this afternoon! I just got home from getting some Tommy perfume for dh and quickly snuck in and wrapped it (dh was already home!) Anyway, I come out and hand him his present and he hands me a bunch of flowers (shock enough! hehe) Then I'm showing Louis the flowers and I say - why is there a fake one in the middle? he goes I don't know...Anyway he comes over and grabs it out and opens it up and he bought me a white gold diamond ring!!!!!! It's just a plain ring with 10 little diamonds across the front of it. OMG!!! I never get this spoilt - ever!! He just said that I've been so sick and stuff that he wanted to spoil me...
Guess we'll be having a night of loving now!! hehehe.

Missy - Actually Louis is unhappy at the moment with a red raw bum - screams when I change it - I'm assuming thats from teeth as well....Hope Callums feeling better! Hope your energy picks up for tonight...
OK in regards to the photos - If you go to upload photos (where the 3 for the front are) then look down it says photo gallery after the little advertising thing. Click on that and you should be able to add the other...Hope that makes sense...Let me know if it doesn't!

Oh Kristie, how fantastic to get spoiled like that! Poor Louis with his sore bum! I would bet that its the teething, Milo's got very sorry looking with these last lot of teeth.

DH got choccies from me, but we're doing the anniversary stuff on Friday when we are more finacial. Not romantic, but better than nothing!

Thanks guys! Dh is very proud of himself!! hehe. It's like the first time in 9y that I've even got flowers let alone jewellery! hehe.
We don't really do romance very well but I did get a nice massage!

Hope you're all having nice nights! Dh is asleep now so my job is done - hehehehe!!!

Thanks Rachael - I'm sure he'll be fine - I just feel so bad changing it when it's sooo sore!

The house is a pigsty but I just don't have the energy to do anything about it...I think we'll be giving swimming a miss in the morning as well. We've been out the last two days so I think a day at home will be nice...maybe I'll even get some washing done!!

    Sweet dreams!

Kristie you did get spoilt but you deserve it. hope Louis's bottom gets better.
Nikki Go grant for the flowers and chocies. Hope you are all well and we see you next week at playgroup. Missed you this week
    RayRay Yeah on the chocies

Well back from dance class and I am really enjoying it. Especially all the flexibilty exercises. I would love to get flexable again. Went into work for a team meeting today, had to take Jordan as my parents are sick so they couldnt babysit. He had a ball everyone loved him. He made heaps of noise (not screaming but blabbering) so cute. My boss's boss's boss gave him a stressball footy he had on his desk, the thought it was the bees knees.
Off to swimming tomorrow and to look for basinette for my friend for her baby shower. I love shopping for baby things.

I didnt get a chance to catch up on the old thread so please forgive my lack of personals. Hi to everyone.

hi all, just wrote a big post and owen came along and pressed a button and deleted it..but in short..docs appt went well..they're going to talk at next appt(on monday)about inducing me and if they decide to do it it will be next week!!eek!!and exciting too!! this is due to bubs apparently huge size and also because all the specialists will be at the hospital during the week(i am a haemophilia carrier, so since we don;t know if bub will have a bleeding prob we need heaps of different specialists there at birth)..am trying not to get my hopes of meeting baby Zipper up too much in case they decide not to..owen is going well..but since i'm barely sleeping now have been absolutely exhausted. Ben(DH) has been away this week(he's in the navy)but gets home today thank goodness(well hopefully he's changed his tune from laziness to helpfulness anyway!!)have been reading a book called the post baby conversation..very accurate and have to try some of the techiques in it to see if i can get more help here..am going to put owen back to bed and have a rest myself..will check back later and try to find the energy to post again..ugh i forgot how gross the last few weeks of pregnancy are!!

    Hi!

I'm so not having a good morning...I think Louis is sick of me not being fun and he's being a little terror. I just don't know what to do with him - he hits out whenever I say no or don't. Sometimes he'll even chase us to hit. We've tried a little time out thing which works short term but he's still hitting, tried Ignoring him, and the last couple of days I've even smacked him which I'm so against...so I'm angry at myself for doing that and how stupid is to try and teach him not to hit by hitting him?? Grrrr.
It doesn't seem to matter whether he's tired or not it's as soon as we tell him not to do something that he does it. It's just his frustration but It's driving me crazy!!!
I suppose it doesn't help that I'm feeling tired and sick and headachy but I just feel like a bad mummy.
I also get worried because he's only 16m!! What am I going to do about the terrible 2's?? hehe.
I suppose one good thing is that he's still very gentle with other kids...he's not a nasty kid as such he just hits when he doesn't get his own way - which is mostly with mum or dad although he did hit out at his oma on the weekend...
Sorry for the rant...just having a bad day - how on earth am I going to deal with 2 boys?? hehe....
I suppose this is why I keep busy - I must admit I don't think he really likes being stuck in side and gets bored...when we're busy he's either occupied or zonked it..but at the same time he needs to learn that he's not supposed to hit...

Missy - I'd say that thats probably all the photos your allowed....I haven't tried putting that many on! Sorry I can't help you with other sited but I'm sure someone will know!! Glad you had a nice night! Woohoo on Callums tooth popping through!

Missy, what site do you use? I use flickr - Milo's site is linked to the photo gallery on his babies online page - we have well over 24 photos on there. Its free.

Krisite you are SO Not a bad mum, you are excellent with Louis and he is a gorgeous little boy. You will handle the 2 boys extremely well I know. Dont doubt yourself. We all have moments when the kids test us but beleive me you are a wonderful mum.

Chrisite Hope all goes well at your next app, wont be long till you are holding bubs in your arms.

Missy hope you get all the things done you want. I know what you mean about clingy. I am forever cooking tea with a little boy hanging onto my legs. (cute but very frustrating)

Well today was my last swimming class as DH is taking over now. I was a little upset about it being last class. SIlly me. I got the numbers of a few of the mums to try and keep in touch as they are really nice ladies. We are planning on going to a Robbie Williams tribute show in APril.
Well I went to maccas on the way home from swimming as I felt like a big mac (AF is here ) and bought Jordan a cheeseburger. He was asleep before we got home so he went to bed without lunch. Hopefully he will still sleep 2-3 hrs and then I will heat it up for him.
Hope everyone is well. I am off to a candle party tonight. Dont plan on buying anything but will be nice to catch up with the girls.

Kristie - Milo is doing the hitting thing too. As far as I know, only to me DH and my mum, he hasn't done it at creche. He also tries to bite me sometimes when I say no, or if I am holding him and he wants to get a way (like at getting dressed time or nail cutting time)

Well, I have a woohoo! Yesterday I had my performance review at work, and whie i thought I could have done better, I am getting payrise in April! yay. we don't get CPI payrises or anything as I am in the private sector, so its something of a rarity.

    Hi!

Thanks guys...it's just soo hard to know if your doing the right thing..What do you guys do when they hit? Is it a just a boy thing?
I ended up taking him outside before and he had a good play around in his sandpit and with his cars and had a nap after. Also a friend dropped in in the arvo so he got lots of attention from her!
He really is a great little boy most of the time..and I must say this is our only battle at the moment. I guess too I just have everyone in my family telling me not to let him get away with it and you don't want him to turn in to a monster when he's older....Geez, this parenting thing can be hard sometimes...hehe!

Thanks Trace - Thats great that your going to keep in contact with the mums from swimming! We stopped at Maccas on Fri night and got Louis the pasta zoo meal. He actually really enjoyed it..I thought it was pretty ordinary though! He loved having the milk afterwards although I'm not sure on those sippah straws. Louis loved it but I thought it was way to sweet - I think next time I'll just put in a straw from my coke or something in it...Better than whats on offer at the other take away places though....
    Have fun tonight!

Cindy - Sounds like you had a great night!!!

Nikki - Thanks!! It is so easy to hit out...especially when thats all you know! I've always said I'm against it but at the same time thats how my mum disciplined us so I think it's just natural to go down that road - especially in the heat of the moment...It must be so hard when your trying to deal with Harry as well...
Yep - its soo hot! I'm going to be very over this hot weather by the end of the weekend!! We've had the aircon on all day and it's still 27 inside!!
Wow I can't believe how quickly that time has gone!! 4 weeks old already!

Rachael - Sorry to hear Milo's hitting as well...They're such little terrors!!
Congrats on your pay rise!! Thats fantastic!! You sound like you must be doing a fantastic job!!

Well, I've booked dh and in for dinner tomorrow night up at Sky high - which is up the top of Mt Dandenong. I haven't been before so hopefully it's nice. It said it's meant to be stormy weather which would be awesome if you could see it all...We're going to drop Louis off at my brothers for a couple of hours so it will just be the two of us....Bliss! We were going to do the whole sleepover thing but since I'm still feeling so crappy I said we should postpone that for a couple of weeks...I want to make the most of it! hehe.
