    Good morning all.
Mrs T - Have a great time with your sister. How long is she staying for?

J drew a picture for my Grandma 2 days ago that I posted to her. She was almost in tears she loved it so much. Her cousin (also 86) died a couple of weeks ago and she has been really down. So I thought we would cheer her up. Seems to have helped. I absolutely adore my Grandma, and hate to see her upset.

Does anyone else have an issue with their kids trying to taste test the texta's?

Oh and I bought a booster thing that clips on to your regular chair from Target yesterday. it was only $12. J loves it, as it means that he can sit at the table with us!

That's so cute of what J did for your grandma!! I'm sure she'll cherish that forever.
Nina did go through a phase a few months ago of tasting crayons, but she's out grown that now.
As for the highchair, we just take the tray off, and push it under the table, that way she can sit at the table with us, and have her plate on the table like we do. She's too little still to sit on a chair, although I don't think it will long until she's big enough.
I got a nice sleep in this morning. Emily woke at midnight and 5am for a feed last night, then 8.30 this morning, which is when Nina woke up. I can't believe how much more Emily is settled than Nina was at this age. I'm not sure if it's a case of doing it 2nd time round, and I'm more confident and relaxed, or if she's just a more relaxed baby.

mrs t - would you like to be referred to as that, or your real name? Not sure if the name change is due to privacy or not?? Have fun with your sister!

Must be the time for family arriving.
I should get some brekkie organised for myself and make my way over to my grandparents, at some stage today.

Meg- Thats a great idea. I might get Ash to do a couple and send one to my Nanna and Grandma, I know they would simply adore it and get such a nice surprise when they find it in the mailbox. Yes Ash likes to taste crayons and today while I was getting dressed she'd managed to get the nappy rash cream and use it as a lip balm! Thank god she didn't eat any but was all round her lips, hope she doesn't react, she's got sensitive skin.

Jodi- Thats great. Its prolly a mixture of maybe Emily being more settled and you being alot calmer cause you feel more confident with what you are doing. I'm hoping when I have #2 they are alot more settled, and I'm putting my foot down now that I won't still be getting up feeding overnight at 12 months!

Caddie- ikwym, gets annoying dragging them in and out the car. Little jobs I usually can put Ash in pram and just walk, there most things in walking distance to me.

Hello Mrs T, does your sister live in New York? How exciting! You'll be non stop chatting if your anything like me and my sister!

Maz- We've been missing you! How are all the kids going? Wow its nearly 5 months you've been BFing Mat for thats fantastic, how is he going? You have anymore appts and things? And how are the other 3? Wil doing well at school? My nephew ended up going to autism school this year and he loves it its been so good for him, he finally is doing poos in toilet! Still has nappy overnight but during day is doing really well. Hes become quite confident and outgoing.

Belle- Hope things start picking up for you. Having your mum back will make you feel so much better I'm sure. This teething business is horrible. Only 2 months to go til tara makes her entrance!

Now we just waiting on Kell to see how she is doing!

Nelle- Lol after you said bout your jeans I had this image of skinny Nelle with this big butt hanging out! I think after I had Ash I lived in tracksuits for like months!

I need to go excercise, my butt and thighs just keep growing! I'm same weight as before I had Ash yet my body shape has changed cause nothing fits! I have wedding to go to tomor and could only find one skirt that fits me! Ah I need to start jogging or something.
Anyways is a skirt with slits right up the side appropriate for a catholic wedding? Am I showing too much leg? Its all I have! Can't afford anything else at moment. Just had to pay for my bridesmaid dress which by the way is very pretty, turned out really nicely.

Lol Shell, you shoulda seen my muffin top! I was definitely the choicest muffin in the bakery yesterday. I'm in more realistic jeans today.

Meg that booster chair sounds awesome! Riv's almost too fat for the highchair attached to the table.

We've got a crayon eater here too, I'd confiscate the crayons, but the cheeky imp has hidden them, and pulls them out for a snack while I'm breastfeeding! Goes and stands in a corner of the same room and looks at me cheekily while munching. Naughty!

He's discovered that a side speaker in our lounge room makes noise, and I'm not sure if it was making a scary noise when he first noticed it or what, but he's really not sure about that speaker! He cried when music was playing the other day, and just then he was just standing near it and looking at it, that's what made me think of it. Bit cute really.

Oh, and if anyone's kids won't let them look in their mouths for teeth, I taught Riv to catch water in his mouth in the shower (also handy if your kids are dehydrated, because I tried to teach him to spit but he can't), and I can see all his teeth that way! Just one more top molar on its way, and then we're onto canines.
Hey Maz - I remember Vy was teething at a leisurely pace - how many does she have now?

Oh! And does anyone have a biter? Riv's started biting the couch when he's angry, doesn't do it often cos he gets in trouble, but he also has gone to bite me a couple of times! Lucky I've managed to move him away before he chomps down, but I live in fear, cos that will really hurt! Anyone else got/had a biter?

Emily might just be a more chilled baby Jodi, or it could be that she's more chilled because she's not sensing heaps of stress from you? No clue. Si's starting to do big long sleeps overnight, which I am very thankful for!

Nelle - Just wanted to say thanks for my little parcel. I was just looking at buying some more bamboo boosters, so no need now

Please don't mention it Meg, honestly I'm so embarrassed I took so long. I kept finding and losing the parcel, if you saw the bombsite that is my hallway, then perhaps you'd understand..

River pulled bananas off the bench today! I think it'll be a light dinner tonight. And today is definitely one of those days where I will be glad to see him in bed. :P Actually, I'll be glad to see both the boys in bed!

Anyone else use Coles Online or somthing similar? I know many places can't get it, but I am just so thankful for it. I get my fruit and veg, and sometimes meat from real life shops (Coles Online delivers titchy bananas), but it was so nice to get the groceries delivered tonight, even if Riv did hit his head on the front door trying to get out the front door...

Nelle- I used it when Ash was newborn and def planning to use next time round. The thought of taking a newborn and toddler round the supermarket scares me! Plus they'll take up all the trolley space. I did same, get meat and veg from elsewhere like to check it out myself.

Ash is down for the night and Df out at mates place watching the footy. His poor friends mum went into hospital last week for colonoscopy (simple procedure) ended up on life support which they turned off last weekend. She was only 60, so huge shock considering she should've been in and out. Plus it happened on a thurs and the hospital didn't call him til the saturday! Anyways they all waiting for coroners report now.

AnnaT - Hey hun, where do you get Borax powder from for your Super Laundry Gel?? I'm having trouble getting it, apparently it's classed as a dangerous substance now

We've had a crappy week here. We put my 3 year old puppy to sleep on Tuesday, and my niece and nephew's grandma died yesterday morning. Lots and lots of crying people around here lately Pool's not finished either due to it pi$$ing down rain. Oh well - here's hoping next week will be heaps better.

I am very sorry to hear about your puppy going to heaven. I know I would be devastated if anything happened to my dog.

We are all sick in this house. Nothing major, but enough to make us have a very quiet weekend.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Having a quiet day here today. J and DH and lying on the couch watching "the Lion King." J has the CD that he listens to in the car, so he is loving watching the movie. He sings along to all the songs!

Ah Meg that reminds me I need to try and fix our car cd player...it's weird and unpredictable. That's cool that you guys listen to Lion King, Riv just gets JJJ and I have to turn it down and sing songs from Mary Poppins when a song with swearing comes on. :P

Hope everyone's had a good day today!

Ha ha about JJJ. That's why I tend to put cd's on when I am in the car. I would hate for him to come out with some terrible sayings that he has learnt from commercial radio. I know my friends little girl started singing "ah ha, I love my lady lumps." :P

Lol, she might be a bit young to have lady lumps I suspect! At least it's not a little boy singing about his lady lumps!

Hey all. Quiet in here this weekend. I had sicky today but didn't do anything exciting, washing, cleaning, well a friend did come over for couple hours and spent some time arguing with Df (you'd think after over 5 years he'd know I don't like garlic sauce!) so that was my day.

Went to a wedding yesterday, very catholic one, spent alot time kneeling and standing and praying but was very nice, they looked just so happy and in love.

mum3girls- Sorry bout your puppy, hope things start looking up this week. Big hugs to you.

Mum3Girls-Sorry to hear about your losses.

I am so sorry I have forgotten what most of you have said. I am feeling better but constantly sick, damn virus'. Eithan loves texta's, doesnt eat them but will write on anything. He also loves shoving things up his nose, in his ears, his eyes, we really have to watch him.

LOL Bella loves to listen to Fergie. On the swearing I am not sure when Bella started hearing it, but we dont really censor her from hearing it (as long as it is not bad), as she knows that it is a grown up word. I mean we dont swear ourselves, yet if someone around us does, she has had it explained to her and knows that it isnt very nice and she doesnt swear.

Hope everyone is good, Eithan is hanging off my arm so I better go.
