Ness - I totally forgot! It is definitely hanging on the wall in his room. I just don't know how to put pics in the BB gallery.
But yes - it was a very lovely, thoughtful gift. I really appreciated the effort that you put in to such a personalised present.

Mum3girls- Nah, I trust you all. Maybe if ppl can say they got their pressies so the sender knows it got to the ok?

Meg- I don't blame you, I struggle thru each day as it is a cold would make it twice as hard.

Belle- Thats great news, glad things are going well. As time goes on hopefully it will get easier and easier.

MrsT- Is he still getting pain in his ears?

Had my Ob appt yesterday, had it booked for 10am and didn't get in til nearly 11am! Don't understand how at that time of the day they can be so behind, then she sent me for blood test so everyone that had been waiting to see Obs were also at pathology. Everyone else seemed to have someone with them and I was all on my lonesome trying to keep Ash entertained the whole time.
Anyway have my u/s booked for next Wed, because I decided not to do that downs test she wasn't even gonna send me for u/s! As if I can wait til 19 week one, wanna make sure there is something there and its all looking good.

Sorry Shell will clear my pm box for you now.

For the KK, at the moment he is way into cars, playdough, animals, books. He wears size 2 clothes and size 6 shoes. He doesnt need any more stuffed toys. We are happy with anything from our KK.

Im at the library. Our net should be hooked up BUT there is a fault in our phone line that wont be fixed til tomorrow so I cant use it. I have my ultrasound in a hour and I am nervous as all heck. Apart from feeling tired and hormonal/sooky I have had no morning sickness at all which isnt usual for me and Im getting worried it might not be a go-er. Guess I'll know either way in an hour.
Loving our new house, its so big and fancy. Im sure my boys will destroy it in no time though. Just a few more boxes of clothes to unpack and then we are done. I told Ry I am not moving again so he'd better like it up here

Hope everyone is doing well and all our new bubs are blissfully sleeping

Jodes - could you pm me your address so I can send a birthday invite! Ta.

Hope the scan went well today AnnaT. Thinking of you.

Hope Tara and Keira are being good babies.

We are happy with anything here for Eithan. Just no more soft toys. Size 2 clothes. Happy with anything home-made. Can't wait to go shopping for my KK.

    Pretty exhausted here.

I did a trial of Nina's b'day cake yesterday. Turned out alright, but I'm not completely happy with it. I'm having trouble getting the icing looking smooth, anyone got tips on how to do that?
I also cooked a delicious roast last night. Heath was very impressed, roast AND dessert, and all home made Now he expects to get this everynight

I lurve this time of day. The Night Garden is on, so Nina is busy watching that, and Emily has gone back to bed. I've got a Bowen Therapy session this afternoon. I've been getting niggling little headaches this week which are annoying.

caddie - thanks for the chat this morning. I really appreciated it.

annat - how did you go yesterday?

How are all the new babies going? Is everyone settling in alright?

Just a quick hi to everyone.

Also checking on all the mums with newbie bubs and all the preggo girls, hope everyone is okay in here.

All fine here, Woo Hoo to you Jodi on your roast and desert, I bet Heath was impressed.
Shell - the 12 week u/s is so exciting to see your bub for the first time, you can't miss out on that one.

Okay, Rylee is at child care today so DH and I are going out to lunch at one of the wineries down in Red Hill, I can't wait to have a child free meal.

Better get going, am back at uni this semester, last paper so have some of that to do.

Laurin- I know thats exact what I thought. I remember with Ash the 12 week one was our favorite, just seeing for the first time and knowing there is something there with a heartbeat.

Jodi- I'd have to be last person to ask cake advice! (if you saw my last year attempt you'd understand, lol). I was thinking of cheating an getting ice cream cake with Dora on it.

AnnaT- How did the scan go? I hope everything is ok.

Helen- I'm not surprised you are exhausted! I feel worn out just carrying one (well I think there is one!) So I can only imagine how you're feeling!

Nearly could have been 4 car pile up today! Old people should get licence review. This old duck went thru red light, and car in front of me had to slam on brakes to miss her, I had to slam on brakes and so did car behind me! Thankfully we had only just got a green light so we weren't travelling that fast if we were prolly no one would've been able to stop in time. Tell you it gave me such fright I actually had chest pain!

Must be day of old ppl drivers! Got stuck behind one going 30km (in 60 zone) then got another one in a station wagon of all things nearly back out of his driveway into me! Am I a trouble magnet? Had to swerve to miss!

Caddie- When do you have to have the scan? What in particular is he concerned about?

Jodi- Wow lucky Nina! Hope they're hidden away til her actual birthday!

Maz- Lol, I can see you as an old woman driver!

So whos gonna watch opening ceremony tonight? Starting bit late for me (10pm) prolly only watch short while before I fall asleep!

Meg rest up hun, hope all's ok.

Jodi - Yay!!! That was quick!! I don't mind if you open it early (I'm very excited and want to know if she likes it - of course you can wait if you want too).

AnnaT - Hope the scan went well - hopefully your internet will be up and running soon.

Opening ceremony - probably not. I've had a really emotional and long day (had a funeral to go to this morning for an old work colleague) but on the plus side have found out that my SIL doesn't have breast cancer ('spose I shouldn't go into details, but I'm happy that they've got good news). And we've got the school fete this weekend, so busy busy with all the prep for that. Better go get dinner on I suppose, have a great weekend everyone!!!

    Wow Sharle, you sound BUSY!

Meg, how many weeks are you hon? I had a bleed at 9 weeks and man was it scary.

Shell! Scary as! I already drive like a granny...that reminds me, I helped an old lady in a scooter at the shops today, and she said 'I never thought I'd end up like this, in one of these'. She was friendly, but sounded a bit sad. I wish I could have done more. Instead, I told her she should get flames painted down the side of her scooter. I'm such a dork sometimes.

Maz, so much sewing! Those licorice allsorts look hyena-worthy mate, I am DROOOLING. (And I don't drool at much, so believe me, that's the highest of compliments.)

Caddie, is a CT scan where they put coloured stuff in your veins? I can't remember. :P

Laurin, hope you had a grouse lunch.

Annat, hope things went well in your scan today.

Remind me again what Bowen Therapy involves Jodi. Hope it was relaxing. And as for cakes, can you email Anna? I reckon she'd know a trick or two. I definitely am no help with cakes either, the last cake I made sunk in the middle, and I tried to fill it with icing. I was pregnant with River and I cried so much. How was I to know that mudcakes are notoriously tricky?

Soooo tired today, went grocery shopping at an ace grocery store/butcher, and then grabbed the rest from a supermarket on the way home. Then put it all away. Took forever.
Not sure if I'll watch the opening ceremony...still not sure how I feel about these olympics, I hate the way China treats its people...but I do like fireworks. :P
