hi ladies sorry i have been mia been really busy lately.

i must be getting the nesting instinct already cause i been flat out cleaning the house and settling things i wouldnt normally do. i really need to take it easy me thinks. yesterday we picked up our rocking chair glider.its black leather and has a matching ottoman that rocks aswell. as soon as we got it home i went to work putting it together. i cant seem to sit still lately. lol

savanna is doing really well and is such a big girl now. i stopped wrapping her. as some of you may know i was terrified to stop as i thought she wouldnt sleep. i guess its all to do with timing. she now sleeps in her grow bag and sleeps even better than she did before. 12 - 13 hours straight a night. she was starting to turn onto her tummy whilst wrapped which terrified me so i knew it was time to stop wrapping.

i need to sell my 3 wheeler pram asap ( its the bravo swallow in metallic silver) as i am picking up my phil and teds sports pram this week. no use in having two prams. any advice on selling with ebay??

maz - good luck with the breast feeding. i wasnt able to breast feed savanna. i tried for atleast 4 weeks but never had enough milk. im hoping to try this time around but very nervous. a midwife told me to start breast massage and nipple stimulation about a month before bubs is due. hopefully it will help i have also been getting braxton hicks for the last couple weeks already.

hello to everyone and i hope all the bubbies are doing well.

    luv ambz

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes. Have had a flat out day. One of the presents we brought Bella doesnt work, so I have to do a huge hunt and see if I can find the receipt. Brought it at the toy sales, so wish me luck.

    Sharleen-I hope everything is ok.

Anna-That's hard news to take. I hope the BT gives you some clarity.

Jodi-House plans are going slowly, thanks for asking. Still waiting on more quotes etc.

Maz-Dont go tweaking too soon as it can bring on labour. I used fenugreek and goats rue drops when BF Eithan. Also drink, drink, drink and then drink some more. Acktivite like Anna said is great. When is hospital I fed and expressed. When at home I always had trouble with my supply so I used to feed him 3-4 sides. Left, right, left and then next feed, right, left, right. Also it's hard but keeping the little bub awake and feeding properly is important. We used to half strip Eithan so he wasnt so warm and keep rubbing his little palm as we were told in hospital by the midwife that it helped them to remind them to suck. Plus a little tickle under the chin etc. Hope that helps.

Well I am so knackered, better go.

    Love

we have fires all around us on the peninsula........arshole kids lit them burnt out a house....been on the news, all the bastard kids around here, they torhed the local footy shed 18months ago, then the locals all pitched in to build another one, it was open 5 days, and they burnt it, only 3 weeks ago, everyweek there is at least 3 cars that get stolen and torhed (OURS)....then they lit the bushfires that have been on the news, one persons house down the road is totally burnt, along with numerous other things...they had the hide yesterday to start another one when there is so many cops and firefighters around????
they need there BALLS removed that way they can be reminded about there stupidity for the rest of there lives

    Morning ladies,

Kell- no sea breezes for us today! OMG, is that how you spell breezes???? Preggo brain again! Ya can keep ya moths too lady...eeekkkk!

Maz - Very true about everything Helen said. We used to strip bails down too, rick would shake (gently) his arms and legs and rub him along side/under his jaw line to keep him awake and talk to him continually. It was partly due to my c-section and the drugs making him sleepy too. Yep, go easy on the nipple stimulation!!!! Dont want labour starting just yet! Good luck with breastfeeding, every day you breastfeed is a massive accomplishment. Maybe check out the ABA website for more hints etc

ambz - Hope you sell your 3 wheeler. I tried to sell a jogger on ebay for over a month and did not even get one bite. It was brand new too. I started off at $100 and went as low as $50.00. Maybe try your local papers, trading post, community notice board (some shopping centres have them), playgroups etc Let us know how you go!
oooh, nesting! I love nesting. I have been doing it since I was about 8 yrs old!!! Although it had taken a back seat for a while but seems to be slowly coming back. I used to do crazy things like clean out the washing machine, the kettle, wash the dogs bedding etc. Nothing normal like vacuuming!

Wow, bit of a post there. Have a good day and stay cool!
    xxx

Chrissy - What idiots. I hope their house burns down the lttle mongrels. You stay safe though. Hows your little bubs coming along?

Helen - hope you find that receipt. If you're anything like me, it's probably in the bin! Things must be very hectic with arranging quotes for the house. My parents have just this week finished building theirs! Now all they need is their furniture bought up from Bundy so they can move in!!

sharleen - how'd it go yesterday?

anna - did you get your bt results back?

annat - how's Jett liking his big boy bed?

chrissy - those little bastards!!!! I hope they get a good punishment when caught.

Just dropped Nina at daycare. Their talking about moving her up to pre-kindy, which is very exciting!!
Well I've bought a new vacuum cleaner, so gonna go and clean!

Jodi - Thanks for thinking of me. Yes, I did get my BT back... having a very early m/c, my AF showed up today. I'm ok about it as I know the 'why' of it all.

I'm still getting chest pains, but I'm starting the think it is anxiety related. Sorry if I'm a bit quiet/lurker around here; just feeling a little withdrawn atm.

    xx
