Shell - We bought the bridesmaids dresses for my sis's wedding off the rack from Myer. Just over $100 each.

Jodi - You were lucky to get such a sleep in. Did Nina sleep late?

marni - Hope everyone is better in your house now.

Mum bough J some sand for his sandpit, and he just went off! I think it will have to be an afternoon activity so he can get straight in the bath afterwards.

    Wheeeeeee! Go Meg!

I didn't have one today, but I had one every day before that for quite awhile. I'll consider this my one day detox and get back into them tomorrow.
(Though I did have two frosty fruits today...)

Bummer on the dresses Shell, Myer's a good idea too! But if the bride already has the idea of what she's after fixed in her head, it's probably easier to get them made.
Whoops about the wee! One of the reasons we got leather...though Riv's nowhere near having any loo awareness...apart from me getting out of the loo and him being on his tummy on the floor outside cos he's been trying to see under the door!
A theatre restaurant sounds good. One of my old school friends works at the Titanic one I think.

That's cool about the sandpit Meg - Riv had his first sandpit experience today, played with sand from the side...he was pretty fascinated!

Riv was a bit cute this arvo, it was nearing dinner time, so he was starting to get tired, and he climbed into the washing basket and tried to curl up for a nap. I'll have to teach him a bit more about his kiddy couch in his room. The camera battery was flat, but we got some video of him before he got in, just resting his head and torso in the basket with his feet on the ground, and then we got some footage once he was in.

Better go kick Rans off the phone, so he can help me with my labour bag - I am NOT going to bed til it's done!!

Hope everyone's well, let us know how you're all going!

It has been quiet for a weekday, usually just quiet on weekends. I'm always around!

Meg, yeah we looked in myers, I think prob is she wants green and there isn't alot in that color in a style we want and in sizes we need! Ash loves her sandpit too, I don't like finding sand all over my clean floors.

I'm here. It's been sooooo hot here today. I've finally got all the housework done though, so just about to get into my Magnum ice-cream mmmmm yummy!

shell - yeah green isn't a very popular colour. I don't think it's even in season at the moment. Can't she change the colour

meg - yep, that's when Nina woke up too. She's been great lately, in that she is waking between 8.30-9.00 each morning. She must be going through a growth spurt or something.

Nina was such a little brat today. Had to go into Medicare, and she decided to chuck a mega tantrum. There was a little girl (probably around 4 years old) carrying her dolly, so Nina decided she wanted to walk around carrying her dolly too. But I wanted her in the pram. So I had to fight with her to get her back into her pram. And you should have seen the stares I got from everyone. I even had one lady (she looked quite old'ish, maybe a nanna?) look at me real evil looking, and shake her head at me!!! If she had of been a little closer to me she would have copped a mouthful. I was NOT in the mood for someone like her. I mean, I'm 7 months pregnant and fighting with a toddler who's about 12kg, to get her into the pram. Some people should just mind their own business. ggggrrrrrrr.
ok, rant over. I'm having my ice-cream now.

Jodi. It's a good reminder to me to always make the effort to smile nicely at people with tantruming kids, honestly, even mild kids have their moments! And how was that lady helping you with her frowning? At least a smile could have helped you to stay calm and not stress that people are being bothered!

    Hope you're enjoying your ice-cream.

Jodi- God I hate people like that, they seem to either forget what it was like when their kids were that age or they prolly never had children! If Ash is having a tantie I usually just not look at anyone if I can help it, just stare sraight ahead.

Nelle- Lol at that story but I am mighty impressed Riv will do that! Ash won't sleep unless she is tucked up in bed. Now I hope you come back telling us your bag is packed.
